Literally the best freaking pizza in town. My suggestion is the four cheese decadence. I definitely don't think you will find a better pizza within 20 miles of this place. very very very good. Their gourmet pizzas are far better than their regular pizzas. regular pizzas still tasty. Delivery is pretty speedy. You can eat in the building if you want its all good... First of all, pizza's not supposed to be awful. It appears no one told this to Sahara Pizza. And, while their pizza is like spooning the contents of a diaper found in a senior center dumpster into your mouth, they get the other food right. Their angel hair pasta is great, the sauces are numerous and decadent and their barbecue wings are sweet, meaty and stickier than a three-year-old with a fudgesicle. I pray on my hands and knees that the Sahara chain figures out that a crust shouldn't be made solely from corn meal and barber hair; and that cinnamon isn't a pizza topping. If that happened, I would have a good pizza delivery place to go to. And Dominos Pizza only cuts the mustard when I've been drinking and/or knocking a ball-peen hammer against my temples. So, keep up the good work with the other foods, but stop making pizza out of ingredients that taste like they've been raped by an angry hobo. read more

This was my first visit to Sahara Pizza. I ordered the margharetta pizza looking for a light pizza. The spinach was bitter. (Interestingly, my wife had spinach on her pizza and it was not bitter.) The oil seemed to have been poured on the crust rather than brushed. Oil was pooled underneath the crust in the pan. The crust that was dry (around the edges) was crisp and tasty. Unfortunately, most of the crust was rapidly absorbing the abundance of oil. I will try here again as I simply cannot believe this pizza was made correctly. read more

Seems like a gamble. Our delivery of one large pizza arrived after one hour and 50 minutes. When I ordered, the estimate was 35-40 minutes. The pizza arrived cold predictably. We've had two other deliveries that were also far longer than you'd think it would take or the estimate they gave , so this was strike three for me. I won't call them again. I ordered the 14" Garlic Chicken and really enjoyed it. The pizza was heavy and very filling so bring your appetite or order a 12".

The pizza is ok. The people can be really rude. I had a gift card which s as good as money. Then I had a coupon for a buy one get one free and they would not let us use both. The owner was a real jerk about it. Go to dominos great pizza always. read more

We spent the night in The Dalles headed home to Calif. We wanted pizza and found Sahara Pizza on-line. Other pizza places didn't have dine-in and Sahara did so we thought we'd try it. THE PIZZA WAS GREAT!! Loved the crust. Also ordered a small salad which was enough for 2 people. I definitely recommend this place. We had the Lion's Feast pizza, an all meat pizza. It was good! Their small Caesar salad really does serve 2 so we over ordered. Service was fast and everything tasted good. Not bad for an impromptu stop on our way up the Gorge. read more

This pizza place is not good the pizza is very greasy and the plates are made of medal which don't look very pleasing. And the soda cups show a ring of oil grease at the top which is disgusting also it is hot in the place. read more

Sahara is usually my go to pizza here in town for the mere fact that IT IS VERY YUMMY. Definitely my favorite. Red sauce is perfect and there are a variety of different pizza combos including "gourmet" or "odd" toppings. I just love it! Favorite pizza has to be the Pumba. The garlic bread twists are sickening they are so good, and i usually end up eating the entire thing. The ONLY complaint i have is for ONE person in particular working there. Ben (not sure if he is the owner) always has a horrible attitude when i make a to go order. He has literally snarled when i decided to add something at last minute. He always seems burnt out and when i order my usual extra large pizza i let them know i have the 3$off coupon. He has made a huggggeeeee deal about it multiple times like I'm lying. I don't think he understands they come in the mail monthly and more than half the time they don't collect the coupon on arrival at my house. I don't think he understands how much money i spend there, so 3$ isn't anything to be fussing about. The rest of the staff is great:) read more

The pizza is not bad, it's just too expensive. Although I have gotten nice people a couple times, I will never forget the guy that was rude to me whenTHEY got my order wrong that I paid for. These guys are notorious in The Dalles for having crappy customer service. When I do order I only regret it about half the time. read more

We started going to Sahara a few months ago and really enjoyed the pizza. I always wondered why it wasn't busier but thought I was just always there on an off night and missed the rushes. Tonight I had a horrible experience. The man who came to help me acted like i was a nuisance. There was no one in the place and it was 4:30pm so I'm not sure how I was bothering him. I asked a couple questions and each time he answered me with a sigh. When I say questions, I asked for a pasta. He said with a sigh "small or large?" I then asked how big was the small? Him, sigh "1/2 lb" I finally asked him if he was having a bad day. He said no, I'm just trying to answer your questions. I chose not to order anything . I work in the service industry and I feel that if you can't at least pretend to want me as a customer, I dont want to be one. I left but decide to go back in to ask for a manager or owner. Guess what? He was the owner. I will never go back because he obviously does not need my $50 order or care for the business. There are other places to go that are nicer and have better pizza. I gave it 2 stars because the other employees the other times were nice. If I could give him negative stars I would. read more
