This place is NOT a fancy place, but it is FULL of small town charm. It has multiple eating areas, two pool tables in the back and straddles American and Chinese decor in a most delightful way. A TV plays calming instrumental, meditation-type music that I absolutely LOVED! I was enchanted the moment I looked around. I already knew I was going to have a good and yet unique experience. I ordered a variety of items, which I included pictures of. The fried shrimp were excellent, the crab rangoons a 10/10 and the BBQ Pork had a somewhat unusual, but familiar homemade taste that I loved. The egg roll was the larger PNW type that I generally hate, but the filling was so good, I ate it all out of the crust. It tasted more like Indian Samosa, which I love! They had a variety of Asian food from Japanese Chicken Katsu, to Vietnamese Pho. There was quite a lot to explore on the menu. The Hot & Sour Soup was fairly potent and not very hearty as H&S soups tend to go. The Egg Flower Soup was preferred, though nothing special. Still, I enjoyed the kick of a strong H&S vinegar. The Pho was pretty darn good. It was totally legit and above average for Pho. For a small town like Lyle, it was definitely a 10/10. Even in a big city, it would have been considered good and probably above average. The Beef & Broccoli was of above average quality and had good flavor and was a VERY large portion. It could easily have fed most families of four all by itself. I wish I could have tried more menu items. Next time. I would definitely go again, though unsure when I have cause to go just for that. I might if my family is looking for something a bit different. The service was EXCELLENT! I really want to support what seems to be a mom & pop business. I only wish they had BBQ ribs. I had a vanilla milkshake & shared with my toddler! My teenager had vanilla ice cream sundae with chocolate fudge. The family shared and order if fresh crisp fries. We returned in the morning for breakfast & because we stayed at the Inn we had a 20% off discount. Coffee for the adults, hot chocolate for the kids. Portions were big, decent food. Server was very kind. We got a complimentary cinnamon roll for the table. Overall good place!

It's a very nice and inviting restaurant. They have a good amount of seating, and what looks to be a nice bar. As the name would suggest, they have sushi, burgers, and different Hawaiian style bowls. I grab some Ahi, my better half had an Ahi Hawaiian bowl, and our kiddo had a fried sushi roll. Everything was solid! Portions were good, not great. TL/DR: Great food, generous portions, good variety. Worth the stop along the freeway! The owner is a friend from Amayah's in Bigg's Junction and I'm all about supporting good people. He just took over this cart and is closely examining the recipes and tweaking them. Thus far, the results have been very good, a touch more garlic here, a little less oregano there. It's attention to detail and i appreciate it not just being food-service pre-prepared food. Starting with Gyros, the owner's wife ad he joked that it took several tries before she could actually make the whole thing wrap together. The portions are generous, the sauces make the process slippery, and it needs to be approachable so you can actually eat it without deconstructing the whole thing. I loved the laughter between them which bespoke the desire to get things right as a higher priority than perfection out of the gate. I like people who appreciate the process. I've tried the Loaded Fries, the Falafel Plate, and the Lamb Gyro thus far, returning to the Lamb Gyro several times. The loaded fried are LOADED, generous portion covered in (in this case) spiced chicken (still juicy) and drizzled with sauces. Very messy to eat, but wonderful! The falafel, formed by hand before frying, was crispy and had that variation in textures, smooth and chunky, and just the right spices. It was also easier to eat than the fries in the car. I make this drive several times a week and I now stop here and at the Amayah's with about equal frequency, and that is some high praise! Check this place out. They seemed a bit understaffed and estimated the wait time to be an hour and a half but it actually ended up only being 20 minutes. Once we were seated, they had a variety of sushi and specials along with some noodle dishes. We ordered a few rolls and we were shockingly surprised with the salmon nigiri, which were plump and tasted delicious. Certainly not the best sushi I've ever had but for a small town sushi spot, was pretty good. Would come back I was in the area really wanted sushi.
