Very busy restaurant! Came here on a Friday rainy cold night, perfect pho weather! They used their front end of the store as a take out area, they had lots of orders waiting to be picked up. Their indoor seating area is open and looks like its been recently renovated. Looks clean and roomy. My friend and I ordered fresh spring rolls with shrimp and grilled pork meat pao as appetizer. We finished off the meal with their beef pho. The broth for the pho is very flavorful. Food comes out super quickly and the owners who took our orders are very friendly. Prices are a little higher compare to a couple of pho places that I go to in Parsippany, however the quality of the food do make up for it. I visited Saigon with a small group on a weeknight and we were seated immediately. The space was clean and very modern, somehow lending to the calm atmosphere. My SO and I ordered Thai iced tea and Vietnamese coffee respectively but ended up liking each other's drink more and switched. Both were great and a good way to kick off our dining experience. We all ordered a bowl of pho and doused the aromatic broth in spice before digging in. The spices coming from the broth were prominent, adding to the cozy feel that only pho can provide. My tofu and veggies were fresh, enhancing the flavor profiles within the broth. Nearly everyone finished their pho in record time, unable to resist the flavorful meal. LOVED dinner at this place. It was oddly fun waiting on line outside to be seated - like we were trying to get into a hot new spot. Honestly it was worth the wait. We got the spring rolls as an appetizer and they were sooooo good, fresh, flavorful and hot. My husband got the beef pho and I got the egg noodle soup with pork wonton and chicken dumplings. We went back and forth trading slurps because they were both amazing. On top of the food, the Thai iced tea was real brewed tea, not just the syrupy stuff you find everywhere now. On one of the coldest days of the year I physically come into the store to order a shrimp pho. I drive back home - 30 minutes away - only to find that the basic ingredients are missing. Hot sauce, lime, soy sauce - which is what gives this soup the spice and hotness. I am disappointed in this place and the fact that there are only 4 shrimp in this $20 bowl. Some of the best viet food I have had in the tri-state area. The summer rolls were some of the best. The vegan Lemongrass soup was very flavourful and satisfying. Great experience! My girlfriend and I came here for lunch on a Saturday morning. We were visiting Millburn for the day and this restaurant was a short walk from the Millburn NJT station. The restaurant is bright and full of natural light. There are spacious booths available inside and outdoor seating as well. When we arrived, it was empty. We were greeted and seated quickly. Waitstaff was pleasant and took time to explain the menu to us. We got the Grilled Pork Vermicelli and the Grilled Chicken Rice. Both were delicious! For drinks, we got a hot Honey Ginger Tea and a Shirley Temple. Waitstaff came by periodically to check on us and to refill our water. There is one restroom and there is a separate sink outside of the restroom. We saw a lot of people placing take out orders. You also get a free macaron when you check in on Yelp. Took my girlfriend here for our date for Pho. We had the rice paper wraps with avocado the texture was very sticky and we both agreed it needed more flavoring even with the peanut sauce. We ordered our Pho, I had chicken pho and she had beef pho it was delicious. Two stars off because of the flavoring of the rice rolls and my chop sticks were taken away when I wasn't done with my meal. The guy didn't ask if I was done and I was in the process of drinking the broth for my pho and I needed my chopsticks to finish the noodles. This place is THE BEST. I come here often to eat on my own or with some friends. It's my comfort food spot bc the food and service is ALWAYS on point. Saigon Cafe is delicious! I was going to go to Binh Duong but they were closed. However, I am so happy that I came here. The food was fresh and amazingly flavored really well. The brisket pho was tender and just simply delicious. Please get the chicken spring rolls because they are so fresh and crispy. The pickled carrots were also a plus. I will for sure be back. I been going to this restaurant for many years but for the first time I'm very disappointed. Ordered lemongrass pho with beef for almost 18 bucks. The portion is so small. Noodles is kids size with 6 tiny pieces of beef and not a single veggie in it. To top it off the veggie to add in the pho was literally so tiny.I understand that everything is expensive now but at least add a little noodles, bean sprouts and meat. This restaurant is on the left side of the building from Essex. They have outdoor seating and a dining area inside with about 4 -6 spacious booths. They could seat about 6 Americans or about 10 Filipinos LOL. We just have different space requirements. We like to snuggle haha. There I go laughing at my own jokes. I ordered the Bun which is a rice noodle salad with grilled meats on top. I ended up getting the grilled pork, shrimp, and the eggrolls. My husband got the bun hoi which came with special instructions to wrap the lettuce and unfold the fine vermicelli noodle. He got chicken, shrimp, and eggroll. Often grilled meats at a vietnamese is too salty or too sweet. This was just right with a hint of lemongrass. We had lemonade on this sultry summer day. Very good not too sweet. Nice Pho noodle was excellent on cold rainy day. This place opened Nov 21. I would never found it if it was not for Yelp app. I really liked how coffee was made with condensed milk.
