Great place for a variety of food. We had the pad Thai which was very good. The Hot and Sour Swas totally awesome! I think my favorite was the Garlic Chicken! We also had Bun Bo Nuong Cha Gio! Very tasty! It had amino egg roll cut up in it. The staff was awesome! Our waitress made us feel welcomed and was very attentive! Great food and great service makes this a comeback place!

Top notch. Best service I have ever had at an Asian restaurant, super friendly. Food was very good also. O had chicken & mushroom and added steamed veggies (which were cooked perfectly). Place was clean ang comfortable.

This is an Americanized Asian restaurant that serves Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, and Malaysian food. The lunch special looked appealing, which comes with white or fried rice, a meat dish, an egg roll, and a bowl of soup for a good deal. Some of my friends got it, but I didn't choose it because I wanted to have some vegetables in my meal. I chose the rice noodle with pork, which was okay, and it tasted better as leftovers. My friend got the pad thai and didn't like it very much. They have good service here, but I think the food is too westernized for my liking. The prices are good, and they give you sooooo much food. I had three meals from the noodles.

Schezhuan Beef lunch special includes soup and egg roll. Chicken with Vegetables on the plate in the background. Both fantastic.

It piqued my attention enough that I decided to come by several hours later to get my dinner there. Bit of a unique setup as it's literally just a desk at the front with a menu you can order off. You put your order in on Square and wait. And then someone comes to bring your food out all nicely wrapped up! This is probably because the person who would take your order is actually also making the food in the bank/ Ordered the Beef Rendang, since I wanted to try something that was uniquely Malaysian. The beef was very tender and paired well with the sauce. It also had an unexpected spicy kick to it, but it wasn't overwhelming. Did not expect to find Malaysian food in a downtown Austin grocery store, but here we are!

There's a separate register toward the front of the store for you to place your order. However, there's a very good chance the proprietor will be in the back making food, so it's really a spot for you to browse the menu and order online. Once you get past the set-up, however, Wee's is very, very good. The menu offers Malaysian curries, noodles, satays, snacks, and drinks. I opted for a beef rendang and a Thai green tea. After about 15-20 minutes, Wee emerged to hand me my order. She gave me a warm greeting and seemed invested in me enjoying my meal. And enjoy it I did! The meat was tender, the sauce rich and creamy, and the coconut flavors paired well with the pickled vegetables. There was also a lot of it: for $18, I felt like I got my money's worth. Wee's Cozy Kitchen is easy to miss unless you're looking for it, but if you stop by, you're in for a treat.

Chef Ling is a brilliant and personable chef who treats her chefs and staff like family. Several different chefs prepared each course, and the presentation was well beyond what we expected, both visually stunning and thoughtfully composed. From the moment we walked into Ling Kitchen, the energy felt warm and intentional. The space is intimate without feeling cramped, and you immediately sense that you are about to be part of something special rather than just another dinner reservation. Chef Ling personally welcomed guests, shared the story behind the menu, and checked in throughout the evening in a way that felt genuine and never forced. Each course built on the last, with a clear progression of flavors and textures. The fish was impeccably fresh, the knife work precise, and the seasoning balanced to highlight the natural ingredients rather than overpower them. You could see the coordination among the team as different chefs stepped forward to prepare and present their dishes. It truly felt collaborative, like a small culinary orchestra. What stood out most was the creativity. Traditional techniques were honored, but there were subtle twists and unexpected combinations that kept us curious and engaged. Every plate was composed like art. The pacing was perfect, allowing time to savor each bite and appreciate the craftsmanship. Beyond the food, the hospitality elevated the entire experience. The staff was knowledgeable, attentive, and clearly proud to be part of the team. That family atmosphere Chef Ling fosters is palpable and makes the evening feel personal. If you are in Austin and looking for a memorable omakase that rivals experiences in much larger food cities, Ling Kitchen is a must. This is not just dinner, it is a curated, immersive experience. We will absolutely be back. Thank you Ling!!! You are truly one of a kind!

Also, for appetizers, we got the spicy cucumbers which were divine and a hot and sour soup, which was perfectly balanced and not watery. We also got a beef fried rice and let me tell you that rice is so soft and delicious. You literally dream about it the next day.
