It was sensational! I had the vegetarian Pho and he had the shrimp combo plate. Plus got a tofu bahn mi to try. The service was incredibly polite and very quick. Pricing is very reasonable. Our go to Vietnamese place closest to Wesley Chapel. Food is always consistent and super tasty. Grilled beef plate is my go to and the Spicy Beef Noodle Soup with eggs noodles is bomb. I am so glad this place opened up in Zephyrhills. They serve authentic Vietnamese food that is 100% delicious. I was so excited to eat here and I was not disappointed. I went with my family and we had an assortment of foods. We had the Special Fried Rice(Chicken, Pork and Shrimp), the seafood Pho, and the Beef Bun. My favorite was the Special fried rice. The seafood Pho was Pho-NOMENAL! The broth and the assortment of seafood(shrimp, Calimari and imitation crab) was perfect. We also tried the Taro Boba tea and the Mango Boba tea. They were both delicious but I liked the Taro better. Overall, my experience was wonderful and I will definitely be back! I came back and tried the pork sandwich and is was very tasty. read more

So disappointed this time around coming back to this restaurant for dinner. Not very consistent with how they make their stuff. Service was nice, but quality of the food is not something I would brag on. I ordered avacado boba...the boba was all clumped together. I asked the waiter is this supposed to be like this? He looked at me and said yes with utterness. I looked at him, I'm pretty sure they are not supposed to be. They over cooked the boba so it got overly sticky and when that happens and you place it in with ice cold beverage it will clump together.... Besides that the Pho Deluxe was still good, but brisket was too chewy for my taste. Would I be coming back? Probably not. I now need to look for other better Viet place to go or just make the trip a little farther for better food. read more

Visited one of Vietnamese restaurant close to my city - Saigon Café in Zephyrhills. I am fond of Vietnamese Pho soups , read abut those, know best features and.... Some tricks to cook it ( Oh, not easy). So we picked one spice Pho and another one - Seafood. The last one was complete disappointment - it had strong fishy smell, but inside except noodles - 3 shrimps and plenty artificial pieces of some kind - no taste, feel like rubber . VERY unpleasant. We gave up. It is hard to take the explanation we were given that it was cooked in traditional way. No guys, there was no artificial seafood when Pho culture was created. But the second one Pho was actually good. Good taste. Maybe not rich enough broth, but still good. No complain. Chicken entry was very tasty served with plenty of vegetables in nice sauce. What a relief to have good Vietnamese in Zephyrhills! Consistently fresh and flavorful. As a mostly sole diner, I can sit back and watch how a restaurant runs. Saigon Cafe is very much a family run operation, and the focus is completely on the customers. It's rare to see anyone standing idly about; they are checking drinks, delivering food, seating customers, and keeping things clean. Speaking of cleanliness, I am so impressed with the level of cleanliness at this place. There really isnt a surface that looks like it wasn't scrubbed down today, much less allowed to sit for awhile. But who cares about the cleanliness, Lonely Diner Girl! Talk about the food! Fresh is the key word here. Vietnamese food uses a lot of greens and fresh veggies, and Saigon Cafe is no exception. There was a lovely platter of bean sprouts, lime, and fresh basil and cilantro with my pho. Word to the wise: the pho bowls are enormous. The summer rolls are also full of veggies. I appreciated the fact that they will do roast pork or other meats in place of the shrimp. I've had the bahn mi as well, and the bread was very, very fresh, as were the other toppings. My one critique is the music/television in the dining area. It has been on a wide variety of shows, all of which aren't conducive to normal driving. Last time I was there, the television was on an auto mechanic show, which doesn't really fit with the excellent food. Last tip: have a boba drink. Perfect end to a great meal! read more

Outstanding! Fresh delicious Vietnamese food, great prices and fantastic service! Clean, comfortable and casual with zero pretension. Fresh food served efficiently and friendly. We had the pork dumplings appetizer. Hubby had the sliced beef bowl and I had the lomein with chicken. The complimentary little side salads with ginger were a simply and fresh start to cleanse our palates before the meal. The vegetable rolls that came with the entrees were crisp and delicious. Finally a Vietnamese diner in Zephyrhills. We eat here 2-3 times a month and have always left with smiles and with leftovers! The Pho (a huge bowl of noodle soup) is completely satisfying. Their Bun (a noodle dish) is served with a crispy vegetable roll. If you are hesitant about trying Vietnamese food, they do have amazing fried rice and a few other options you can find in a Chinese restaurant such as lomein & teriyaki. Knocked off a star for inconsistent service - really depends on who you get involved in your service but it's pretty consistent who gives great service. It shouldn't take complaining 3x in one sitting for a serious issue to be addressed. First time, I'll chalk up to language/cultural barrier - was just not understanding the issue and disregarded it, 2nd time brought to younger staff's attention - seemed to have no idea how to respond and just didn't and walked away (!? OK..) 3rd time, I brought to boss lady's attention - finally, an actual apology! She ended up comping my dish which I'm appreciative of but was not the point. The point is patrons shouldn't have to go through that much trouble to be heard and addressed if you really care about customer service. Staff training needs to be in order for better service. For dinner we decided to share a bowl of Spicy Beef Pho (Pha) This bowl was huge and filled with beef bone broth, thin slices of beef brisket onions over noodles and a side dish with fresh lime, basil, bean sprouts and slices of jalapeño. Our waiter brought us a small side dish of red chili oil if we needed a little more spice in the bowl, thanks for warning me lol just a touch will do plenty of damage to the palate. Beautiful presentation and plenty to bring home for lunch. Our second dish shared was the Grilled shrimp over dry noodles, again plenty of plump and juicy shrimp with great seasoning over a bed of fluffy rice noodles.Tucking in beside the noodles and grilled shrimp was a bed of salad with delicious pickled vegetables, this dish was accompanied with a small cold glass of sauce we poured over the plate and gave it an instant punch of flavors, definitely could smell the fish sauce and it tasted wonderful and light. We even snuck a couple of splashes of my bone broth over this plate for some added fire and flavor. The employees are so nice & customer service is great. I cannot rave about this place more. My husband and I are (sadly) so obsessed with their food we pick up to take home at least once or twice a week. Even their boba is pretty good!
