Really? Here is the thing people need to understand: people don't just eat out to eat. They eat out to feel better about their lives. Even if just for an hour. Even if just to escape the kitchen and the stress at home. When the service is missing, or poor, or causes more stress than it relieves, it's not worth going back. No matter how good the food is. It was slow when we were there. So, it's not like they were overwhelmed. They just weren't paying attention to the people who actually showed up. I feel for the owners. I do. Running a restaurant is brutal. But if folks like us don't come back, and we won't, you're in trouble. Because the service element is like a note which says we want you back or we could give a****. The soup base is so amazing, rich deep flavors are incredible, more flavorful than the Van Pho place nearby, although Van Pho was pretty good already. I also tried the Vietnamese grilled beef, It's yummy, just a bit too sweet for my taste but I am sure it's authentic.
