Great Vietnamese restaurant! We usually have to travel to Orlando to find a restaurant of this quality but I'm glad we came across the gem. Their food was delicious and a great size. We ended up with leftovers to take home. They have a great deal of an appetizer, main dish, & dessert. The pricing depends on your main dish but prices range from $10 to $15 for a three course meal. We drove from Miami to go to Legoland and coincidentally ended up this little gem! We sat at the bar and ordered Pho , Chicken and Bok Choi plate, Summer Rolls and Spring Rolls, and a kid's Lo Mein. - The Meatball and Brisket Pho was unbelievable! Perfectly salted, came with a side plate of fresh bean sprouts, basil, a lime wedge, jalapeño slices and cilantro. Absolutely delicious! - The Chicken and Bok Choy were good, it is prepared with a sweet sauce and loads of Bok choy, the portion was good. It came with a side of white rice. - The Summer roll was delicious as well as the crispy fried spring roll. Summer Roll comes with a thick peanut sauce and spring roll with a fish, transparent fresh sauce that I love. - Kid's Lo-Mein was a very big portion and very inexpensive. For what it was. My son kept thanking everyone for his delicious food. I had a bite and it was very savory. It had shredded cooked carrots in it as well. We topped it off with imported beer and a kids lemonade. To top it off, service was amazing; any questions were answered in a friendly courteous manner and the food came in so quickly we barely even realized we had just ordered. If you come near LegoLand, skip the touristy buffets and make your way here, it is DEFINITIVELY worth it. I will be back on my next trip for sure! read more

We wanted comfort food after a long day of fun at Legoland. My husband found Saigon Garden and we decided to give it a try. To our surprise, the service was super fast. The food was really good. We ordered special combo pho, special egg noodle soup, spring rolls, egg rolls, stir fried noodles and beef pho from kids menu. Our kids are picky eaters and almost finish all of their food. I was in town for business, and have often found that mom and pop Asian places have the best food in these smaller cities. I had the mixed Pho, and it was good! Redolent of beef bones and star anise. The portion was fine, an the veggies were plentiful. I did order the combo, and had the coconut shrimp and the cheese cake to start and finish. Avoid both of those - not worth the calories or the slight up charge. Just wine and beers here- my Sauvignon blanc was fine Stick to the Asian stuff - it's very good, but don't stray in the American food. I would go back for the pho. read more

After a few days of eating burgers, hot dogs, pizza, and fries while on our trip to Disney and Legoland, we were definitely craving Asian food. Saigon Garden is right outside the entrance to Legoland and we came here during our last visit to Legoland 2 years ago. Having remembered our great experience then, we came back for this second trip. Both times, our large parties were seated immediately. The staff was very prompt and understanding of our young children dining with us. Dishes are mostly Vietnamese, but there are some Thai and Chinese dishes listed in the menu. I would advise sticking with the Vietnamese noodle and rice dishes, as those tasted the best in my opinion. (We ordered chicken and broccoli and it was underwhelming.) Their pho is satisfying and so are their vermicelli bowls and summer rolls. The combo luc lac was different from other versions we've had, but it was still tasty. Definitely recommend coming here if you're looking to break up your dining palate with something more exotic. read more

Looking for an Asian place nearby and found this one with good reviews. Our experience was more average - we ordered a variety of food including pho, goi cuon, and chicken wings. Also ordered smoothies but would skip next time - a bit overpriced for taste/quality. Wings were good but didn't think any of the other dishes were too memorable. We went to Saigon Garden for the first time yesterday. The desire for something different and an Interesting menu attracted us. We sat outside and ordered a glass of wine. We noticed a-lot of gnats and changed our table to inside. We ordered appetizers, and they were delicious. Lunch followed and was equally as good, but the gnat problem plagued us throughout the entire meal inside. We covered our wine, ate quickly and left. The restaurant appeared to be clean but why are so many flying insects inside? We have never encountered this issue and will not be back. read more

My husband and I decided to try this place last night for the first time and wish we hadn't . A man called me from this place and asked me what I wanted on our Pad Thai's and we chose chicken. When I said chicken the man on the phone kept laughing at me . I said thank you, again more laughter . I told my husband for the life of me I had no idea why this man kept laughing at me for placing our first order. The food that came was the most disgusting food we had ever had , and we have had this dish in our former home in Seattle as well as Virginia so all around the USA actually . The food did not have a single vegetable, garnishment, or anything on it. We each had two to three tiny piece of chicken and the rest was just a congealed mass of noodles. Nothing else! I could not even eat mine after a few bites, and we both feel sick today . I can not recommend this place . We both feel like we have been poisoned. It may be nice for others , but I think the laughing man on the phone obviously thought we were perfect to mess with as it was towards the end of their evening . Never again. read more

The manager, Spanish waitress and Hein are liars! I have been going for 4 years, I placed a call at 6:02 on 1/6/2021. At 2:15 am by 2 year old son and I got food poisoning. I know this seeing as I had not had anything for lunch and I never eat breakfast. I spoke with the manager and when I voiced my concern about the food poisoning he told me "I do not have time for this, I lose a customer every minute I am on the phone with you" if you got food poisoning why did you not call the day of. As I tried to explain it did not come on till after you were already closed and my son was so sick the following day that is why I am contacting you now. He said " I am busy and do not have time for you. You can not prove you got sick from our food. I've been here numerous times but during my last two visits, I've noticed a substantial reduction of the the beef in my orders of beef Pho which I've had here multiple times and which I order when traveling. The taste and service is still very good. It seems they may also have added a pricier bowl of pho at a price that is actually higher than I pay off K Street in downtown Washington, DC for a comparable mix. I'm not concerned about bowl size. Ate here when we were visiting LegoLand for the summer. Don't let the strip mall location fool you, Saigon Garden has some great Vietnamese eats for even greater prices. We went on a Tuesday evening and the restaurant was pretty busy, but we were quickly seated by a friendly and helpful server. Not only did she answer all of my family's questions about the menu, but we were served super promptly. Props to the kitchen. The menu is pretty straightforward: lots of fresh spring roll options (shrimp, pork, chicken), pho, noodle, and rice dishes too! They even have a "kids menu" with entrees for only $5! We ordered chicken pho, pad thai, an order of spring rolls, and the chicken and rice kids entree. Everything was excellent and hugely portioned! The kids meal was a great size and really tasty. Our family of 5, along with our friends (a family of 3), arrived about 7:30pm and the restaurant was pretty busy. We were greeted and seated right away. Our server was friendly and attentive. 3.5 Stars Newly opened at The Blue Room's old location, Saigon Garden is a work in progress. Though they've only had a soft opening, this family-run Vietnamese restaurant is a nice stop for lunch and dinner with affordable prices. The restaurant scene in Winter Haven definitely needs more diversity, so I'm excited to see how Saigon Garden does. The inside is a little drab. The bar at the entrance definitely cramps up the entry way a little bit and I can see how a large group may have difficulty entering initially; but the rest of the space is quite roomy and open. I really like the exposed ceiling. My family and I ordered Goi Cuon Tom Thit (shrimp and meat spring rolls), Mi Vit Quay (noodles with roasted duck), and Pho (beef noodle soup) during our visit. We also had the Taro Boba and the Thai Tea Boba. It was an enjoyable dinner -- everything was made fresh and we could taste every ingredient. TIP: If having the boba, get it slushed; it makes everything better! Service was nice too. :) Minh was our server and he was friendly and helpful; especially when we needed clarification. The rest of the staff seemed friendly as well. Overall, Saigon Garden could use some work. They need to extend their hours, especially during the weekend (they close at 9pm on a SATURDAY). We saw several people come up to the door and just leave. From what I saw, they're not very busy right now (that's a shame because there's nothing like them in Winter Haven), so I hope business gets better by their Grand Opening. The closest thing to a homemade Asian meal for me! The broth of my beef and meatball pho was amazing. The right amount of aromatics that didn't need any dressing! We were at LEGOLAND over the Easter weekend and decided to have Yelp give us options and Saigon Garden was chosen by all of us. It's a little more casual than we expected, but a very open space with lots of tables. We were seated immediately at the only available table and our drink orders were taken, 3 of which were Boba teas. We ordered the Combination Appetizer, 2 kids meals, one with LoMein and the other Coconut Shrimp. The adults both had the Beef PHO. The food came out in a very timely manner and all were really good. The only reason that I did not give them 5-Stars was because we had to keep asking for the 3 Boba teas because apparently only one of the employees makes them and she was busy doing everything. After the entrees were brought out, the Boba teas finally made it to the table. Then, the server disappeared into the kitchen!!! I finally had to go over to the bar to get the sever who made the Boba teas to bring us the check so we could pay. Our server finally came back to our table after we signed the receipt and were ready to leave. All in all, not a bad meal at all and we may return when back at LEGOLAND in a few months. read more
