Don't know what happened, but it took like 35 min to get some appetizers, and restaurant was not even 1/4 full , so disappointing as I come here before with great service but that was not today .... It got to a point that I was ready to leave

Another one just because it deserves it... Look a those items and tell me, how you don't love eating pho... Amazing place, really clean and warming, food it's incredible if you love chicken wings... Make yourself a favor and get it with lemon and pepper sauce Mix spring roll and peanut sauce it's sooooo delicious, and the bao bunsssss I feel like personally the bun could be a little bit better but do not remove the facts that it's a DELICIOUS ITEM. Service just depends, if the young servers are available they will make things easier, if not big man with black hat, he understands you but could be very limited with English ( nothing to worry if you are patience due to this dude it's always happy and attentive )

VIETNAMESE FAMILY FOOD ADVENTURE!!! Found this place in Winter Haven. Where else of course, on YELP!!! MOM, Oldest, Youngest & Dad out for dinner!!! To start a bit about the service. Room for improvement... The service was a bit slow as they only had 1 person working the drinks, tables and register. It was younger person and they were doing their best!!! It was a bit slow inside with only 3 tables sitting down, but there were many people who came in for pick ups or ordering ToGo's. The table was clean, but the tray of cutlery, sauces and napkins was pretty dirty with food residue build up. You can tell they haven't been cleaned for at least a few days, if not longer. We didn't use any of these items. We just didn't want to touch them. Luckily they had wrapped chopsticks!!! The server was a bit timid, but friendly. She did inform us the food might come out before the drinks b/c she was by herself. There were two employees in the back and neither came up front to help. Even after all the food was given out to the tables and ToGo's. She did great, given the situation. Now for THE FOOD & DRINKS!!! The drinks: Dad=MD, Mom=water, Oldest=Strawberry boba w/strawberry fruit gel Youngest=Mango boba w/Mango fruit gels They both enjoyed the fruit drink, but the fruit gels were a bit weird they said. They would get them again, just w/o the fruit gels. THE FOOD: We chose a few different things so we could try more dishes. We started with the pork boa buns and the chicken boa buns. The boa buns were very tasty we all enjoyed both types. We chose the beef lo mein for our main to split. It was a bit pricey for size of the dish, even for one person. Also, the quality of meat used in the dish was a bit subpar. The steak itself was flat and flavorless, except for the sauce coated on it. The sauce was good. Especially with the noodles. The vegetables were fresh and yummy. Everyone felt the same about the meat. It was the let down on the dish. It was just too thin to hold steak flavor. We stopped ordering at this point as we all were actually almost full and we all wanted to go for Ice Cream!!! The restaurant ambiance was nice. Edges with lighting near the ceiling were a nice addition. Now for the 3 star rating. Besides the challenges above, Which can be fixed with better processes in place. The beef quality or maybe even cut might make this meat tastier. All the above = - 1 The second -1 is b/c the place had a nail salon next door and you could smell it very easy upon walking in to the restaurant. We actually almost left the establishment. We ended up ordering and then I took my oldest outside while waiting for our food as they were getting a headache. They have a good smeller!!! When we went back in. I think they turned the air on b/c the smell wasn't as bad. My wife and youngest stayed inside the whole time. Wifey said they could still smell it at the same level. The youngest said it was a bit better. This smell is probably why most people get take out. The food is good, but definitely not great enough where we would go back and sit inside again. Maybe just some take out boa buns for our future visits!!! Thank you for taking the time to read my review!!! AS ALWAYS TRY IT FOR YOURSELF!!!

It's very interesting as a houstonian blessed with lots of Vietnamese options. Service was good and restaurant had ample space for eating. We took it Togo though. The food was tasty but different and seems like it fit well with the demographics since the dishes seems to miss a little omph (maybe it's the fish sauce I'm obsessed with ) Bo luc lac 5/5 Tasty dish as this is always our fave dish. It was savory and thankfully not overly sweet. Juicy thick steaks and lots of veggies and sauce. The taste was a bit different and I don't know how to describe what was different from the traditional ones but we happily ate this dish. Wonton soup 4/5 It was a good soup with flavor. Only a tad different. Egg rolls 3/5 It was thick like the Chinese eggrolls but didn't taste like either the viet ones or the Chinese ones fully. Interesting take. Lemonade with different flavors 3/5 My husband said it has to be koolaid. He said as he reminisces his childhood. It was too sweet for me, too much syrup but I can see how others may like it. Peach tea boba 4/5 It was fine but boba was a bit mushier than my liking.

Was in town for an appointment. Planned to stop here before my long drive back. Unfortunately, the Yelp hours are wrong. When you arrive, it says they open at 10:30am. I was early so I waited. 10:30 came and went. I tried the door, but it was locked and definitely no one inside. So bummed

It was our first time trying out this establishment. I happened to drive by it as it sits in a little strip mall off Cypress Gardens Blvd. We both enjoyed everything we tried. The pho had so much flavor in the broth. My husband said the heat level was perfect in his Pad Thai. Service was a little slower and someone's child of the establishment kept interrupting and running up to our server when we trying to order, it was not a huge deal. However, it was a little disrupting while eating as he kept running in and out of the front door. We will be back. It was very good. It's a small dining area but it was very clean and comfortable.

Glad that there's more places in winter haven to get Boba from. I found this place and was impressed at their boba selection. It's a bit tucked away but it's easy to find since it's right next to Publix. They have a great selection of boba. Didn't try the food but was satisfied with my drink. I ordered the pineapple with popping mango boba and my bf got the strawberry with popping mango boba and they were both delicious. We got our drinks very quickly and the guy who took care of us was very friendly. The ambiance was nice and the bathrooms were nice and clean. Looking forward to going back and trying some items on the menu. They are also on DoorDash and have another location which is a plus.

DAD & GIRLS NEW ICE CREAM PLACE ADVENTURE!!!…read more Wanted some ice cream on a Sunday and most places close early. We found Asian Bowl open and we found they had more than just Ice cream!!! We stuck with Ice cream and they had Boba drinks so of course they had to try that as well. Food to Value Ratio: OK, I paid 17$ for 1 scoop on 1 cone x2 and a Boba drink. This is normal rates now, but the ice cream scoop was a bit on the small side for the price. The Ambiance was nice a bit basic in the sense of nothing really stood out as WOW. Check out the pics, some anime pics, a couple boba posters and a photo spot. The pink benches were comfortable. The ice cream was good, but pretty much like any other ice cream spot around that's not a Dairy Queen, definitely better than Dairy Queen!!! The boba tea was good and the boba was not stale as some other places around the area. Service was ok, the young man was not very engaging and his customer service smile/happiness needs improvement, but it wasn't bad, just could have been allot better!!! We would go back to try some other things they had and I will follow up with future reviews if we do so. AS ALWAYS TRY IT FOR YOURSELF!!!

They have poke bowls that include 3 side toppings…read morewith the fish protein, but I asked for it to be vegetarian and was offered the rice bowl plus 5 toppings. Edamame is available as a good protein substitute, though it would be nice if tofu was an option. Nori (seaweed) was an option for seasoning, but I was given Bonito flakes which are made from fish instead. I don't eat fish, so I had to scrape it off when I got home. I ordered a taro milk tea with crystal boba which was delicious and had a thick, creamy texture. The food is made in a kitchen in the back, and the beverages and ice cream desserts are made behind the counter. There was only one employee working the restaurant, and she was great. There is plenty of seating inside and a big screen tv playing Dragon Ball Z.

They are a very small local business, so they freshly handmake all of their boba each week. It's the brown sugar kind and the pearls are always big, chewy and just that perfect soft texture. There's not a technical storefront for these guys, but they have a kitchen set up at Catapult Lakeland which is right along Lake Mirror downtown. I think you can visit them during the week? But I have not tried yet. They do set up shop at the Lakeland Farmers Market every Saturday and it's always a hit. They've even upgraded from having a tent stand to their own trailer/ food truck. So proud of the progress. If you follow them on Instagram, you'll also see MK Boba will do pop ups and mini partnerships with other specialty markets. Lakeland has makers markets and other things every few weeks and they'll be at those sometimes, and they even did a partner up with the Poor Porker in town where you could get boba and beignets in the same stop (it's an unlikely but magical duo). Beyond their incredible tapioca boba, the drink flavors MK Boba sells are just so phenomenal. The dirty horchata is a fan favorite, and they also make a strawberry purée that is just delightful mixed with the horchata or matcha. They've started some other specialty flavors as well, like colorful fruity teas and butterfly pea drinks. These guys are just the best, and I'm so proud and happy that they claim Lakeland as their home turf. Their service is always so friendly even though they're quite busy every time they set up, and they deserve all the rewards for how hard they work. Love some MK boba!!
