The service that I received was a full pedicure. Being a man's man, my feet were off in a bad way. The lady did an amazing job tentatively clearing the dead skin and callouses that took me so long to achieve and develop. She made quick work of cleaning up my cracking heels and calloused toes. 5 out of 5! I'd completely recommend the full pedicure to any and all dudes out there. The facility was clean and well kept. It was very bright and had that oh so recognizable nail polish smell. Ensure that your lady friend lures you in while they get their self-care treatment to get your own. Very anti black vibe here. The look and the treatment feel very 19th and 20th century. The last time I went the tech selected the wrong powder and then told me (20 minutes after I asked) that they did not have the color I requested. When I sought to find another color, he raised his voice and told me if I wanted to look I had to move from his chair; because he had other customers. Needless to say i left. The overweight Asian lady is also very prejudiced as well. She won't ever great clients of African descent and looks and treats them with cavalier disregard...she'll take your money though ::wink:: If you like antiquated treatment in a round the way salon, Saigon is just the place for you! read more

I have been a hand full of times and always had a great experience, this last time I went I noticed my toe was a little inflamed but didn't anything of it.. until it started to become bumpy and itchy. I used triple ointment hoping it would go away but it's been just a bout a month now and it's STILL infected. Three stars because normally I have a decent experience here and the staff is super friendly but my most experience really rubbed me the wrong way. I do not get my nails done very often so typically will try new salons from time to time or call ahead to see if there is availability. My last visit to Saigon Nail was on a Saturday morning, we had a bit of a wait however this was nothing I didn't expect. After a short 10-ish minute wait, my friend and I were able to be seated for our pedicures... hers started right away while I waited until my friend was almost finished before they even started on me. My water was too hot and then too cold and then too hot, as though they were not paying any attention. Where my real issues lie is with the nail color I chose and service. I had chosen the "Deluxe Pedicure" for $40. I'm quite sure it just included an extra foot scrub of some sort. I had picked my color, wanting regular polish, same as my friend, and without asking, the person started to use shellac on my toes. I asked if it was possible to not do shellac and was told no. This is not a service I asked for yet when I went to pay I was charged for it. My $40 pedicure now cost me $65!! I couldn't believe it. Their other menu also stated that shellac was only an additional $5 (perhaps for just manicures, I'm not sure) so I was even more bothered. I don't know why I would not be consulted prior to painting my nails, especially considering my friend and I chose colors from the same paint selection, but I am even more flabbergasted that they charged me an extra $25 for the nonsense. Despite this annoyance, I've always found the staff to be decently friendly and accommodating of getting me in so that's a plus. read more

They definitely have the best nail art in the area. They are pretty speedy and very nice, I like La a lot. He does a great job, takes his time, and makes sure you're happy. A different girl came to do the nail art part and she did great too. Very clean place, busy but never uncomfortably full. I recommend bringing cash if you can but they do take card. read more

I only leave reviews under extraordinary circumstances. I had a full set and it was an awful experience. I had a male nail tech and right away he had a bad attitude about having to take my old extensions off first because I wanted a fresh full set. He tried to peel my nails off with a tip even though I kept saying please soak them off, he just kept trying to peel them and saying "I know I know". By the third time I asked to soak them, he tried with the tip one more time and then finally stopped to do it the right way. He cut me twice and kept drilling over onto my fingers with the e-file. He was pulling on my skin and using his thumb nail to move the side walls which hurt a lot. And even though I kept saying ow, he was just really rough. He would shake my whole hand and jerk my fingers to get the right angle. At one point I was staining at him because I was so upset and he even looked me right in the eyes and we had a silent "f-you" moment. So I said you've cut me twice and you're being really rough with me, is there a reason? But he just acted like he couldn't understand me. My nails looks fine although some of them are crooked and I have a layer of acrylic that dripped under every nail, and patches of acrylic all over my skin. I don't feel like he took the time to do a good job, I feel like he was angry and unpleasant the whole time. When I went up to pay, he WAITED for a tip. I won't be coming back read more

Last time they charged me $10 more than the pedicure is priced on the wall and the tech was super rough... this time, my pedicure lasted 17 minutes and the tech (a different one) cut me no less than 5 times and I finally had to ask her to stop digging into the side of my nail bed with her *sterile* digging tool. When I asked her to please stop doing that, she slapped lotion on me *then immediately rinsed it off* and passed me on to someone else to finish the polish job. My tech was pretty quiet but when i told him it was my sisters homecoming he was talking to me about the school i go to and my sister. I went here on a whim because they accept walk-in appointments. I was able to get in right away. I picked out my polish for my pedi and asked the lady if I could get a clear gel coat over it. I was enjoying my chair massage and didn't notice she had switched out the polish. Instead of my color I selected she painted my toes with a completely different shade that I did not like. Next up, I got a manicure. She did not apologize when she cut my cuticle and my thumb started bleeding. I'm left with a red, swollen, sore thumbnail and the nail length is different on each finger. I spent $70 (with tip) for a gel pedicure on Wednesday. By Friday the entire big toe nail had come off. I went Saturday to have it repaired. The owner was really annoyed and told me to come back later. No thanks. Then the technician got the color wrong. Once she got the correct color I noticed she applied a clear polish before the color. The original technician did not do that. Just applied the gel color to my nails. Today is Sunday and two more nails have come completely off. What a waste of time and money. Went here for a girl's day with a close friend and was treated wonderfully!! We were able to be seated immediately and got a deluxe pedicure that was extremely relaxing and the paint job was beautiful!! We didn't feel pressured to go another tier up for the most expensive pedicure which has happened at almost all other salons i've been to. Our nails turned out GORGEOUS and the techs were very sweet and funny. They were very attentive and gentle. Only down side is that all my diamonds came off my ring finger cuticles but i'm very rough on my nails so i can't blame them! My only complaint was how expensive the gel polish was on top of the pedicure. The pedicure was $26 and my total with gel was $40, and $14 is a bit hefty for gel polish. My friend felt as though her pedi was rushed to get to the mani because there were other customers waiting. Smelled bad. Equipment in poor repair. Prices were the highest I've ever paid. They had signs everywhere requesting that tips be paid in cash. Tacky.
