I have a hectic lifestyle especially when I have to travel for work and/or work different time zones. She is flexible and accommodating. Her rates are also reasonable. The salon is well-kept. Note that there are other awesome stylists as well but Janelle is my regular stylist and yes, she owns the place. I love that she lets me be daring with my styles and colors. I did so and waited for 15 minutes prior to being seated in a pedicure chair. While I waited they continued to take people in saying "pick a color", even though they were clearly over scheduled. After waiting another 15 minutes, the water was cold, and at 2:30, a half hour after my appointment, I put my shoes back on and told them I was leaving because I needed to catch a flight. I'm writing this review to be sure I remember not to return. This is a large shop with approximately 18 pedi chairs and around a dozen or so manicure chairs. I should have known this was not a good place when I walked in on a Saturday morning and they were able to take me right away because there were only two other parties in the place, and there were 5 or so nail technicians sitting in pedicure chairs in the back, talking. I was seated and the nail technician began my pedicure right away. She seemed like she was in a rush and cut the skin on my toes too short, to the point of pain in several places. The scariest part was the really old, dirty nail brush she used on my feet, bristles splayed and all. Honestly, with the combination of these two things, I will consider myself lucky if I don't end up with a resulting medical problem. Needless to say, this was not a relaxing experience. To make matters worse, the nail techs in the back continued to carry on loudly the entire time I was there, with the nail technician doing my pedicure loudly chiming in over her shoulder from time to time. They do not apparently have a dryer, so while waiting for my nails to dry, I continued to listen to the loud carrying on the entire time. Then one more time, while paying for the pedicure, the nail tech shouted beyond me, to the nail techs in the back. Painful pedicure, dirty nail brush, terrible service. Disappointing. I won't be back.

Andrea recently started doing Spray tans at this Salon with Kristin and is extremely unprofessional trying to pressure me into doing it. Making me feel extremely uncomfortable. All this Solan does is talk behind your back once you leave. You can't open up to them while any of them do your Hair/Nails/Spray Tan, and Definitely not a spa atmosphere. They can't keep clients comfortable and happy. I would not trust any of them! Hilary also messaging me being very rude and nasty treating me like a child, and yelling at me. We Also never will be going back to this unprofessional establishment.

She is fantastic with any age range (including my youngest daughter who was 3 when she started). She consistently goes out of her way to make every single person comfortable. She's one of the very few people I've ever trusted enough to say, "do what you think would look good." She worked with me to pick the best color and highlights. She touches up my roots when that's the thing to do and retouches the highlights when it's the best time. She's friendly and professional, attentive and thorough. She's currently taking care of me, my daughter, and granddaughter. Making three generations look great. I haven't worked with the other stylists but I know for a fact - if they're in this shop with Jo, you can trust them.

Enough that I went back a few months later for a dye for a friend's wedding. I wanted fashion color and had a really, really good chat with Melissa about pros/cons of different dyes, how much we could do in the time I had booked, etc. The dye came out really nicely and everything Melissa said was 100% true (how it looked, how it faded, etc). I really enjoyed my conversations with her as well and thought she was pleasant and interesting. She also treated her staff well from what I could tell. I will definitely continue to use this salon.
