Had a wonderful massage at Saigon Spa. Came with my husband and they were on time, very professional in terms of draping, communication and technique. Oh also the actual rooms were nicely dimly lit, relatively quiet and relaxing. We both had deep tissue massages and it really helped with tightness and knots I had built up in my back, neck and shoulders. Only thing I wish I did was book a 90 min massage versus an hour massage. Reception and greeting: the kid at the reception sneakily switched my request for a particular masseuse and did not inform me. I booked a late evening appointment and they kept messaging and calling me through the day to book an earlier appointment. From the get go it looked like they were not interested to honor the original time of appt. I even asked them to cancel if they cannot meet the request. Masseuse 1: abruptly and punishingly pierced through my calf muscle from the beginning. Then proceeded to give a swedish massage with cold hands and cold coconut oil. When I requested her to warm up the oil and called out that her hands were freezing, she instead heated up the room. There seems to be a big communication and understanding gap. I had to tell them to stop the massage. And that I am leaving since it was claustrophobic and not relaxing at all. She went and got the original masseuse that I had booked with. Masseuse 2: was ok. It was a better job. But mostly I received a massaged from one side only. It seemed like this was not uniform. There were some weird twisting motions with my neck and face. My neck is suddenly sore this morning. Even though i told them at the start not to touch my neck or head. The masseuse's nails kept digging into my skin during the massage as well. Once i got done, the kid at the reception asked for a tip. Overall a very frustrating experience. read more

The massager was not as professional: nails were long and kept cutting into my skin, the massage was more of the same thing over and over again for 90 minutes rather than a 90-minute well planned massage. What's funny is that the massage actually felt rushed. And it was more of rubbing the oil rather than massaging. It might be that I'm just used to better service, but when you're paying $145 for a 90-min massage, you expect the best service. Unfortunately will not be coming back. read more

Friendly reception and the masseuses were very kind and considerate. We did a couples massage and the massage itself was a mix of kneading, stretching, and my masseuse massaged my head as well. My wife's masseuse frequently checked in with her on pressure, comfort, etc. And they have warmed massage tables too, which is great as I run cold and can shiver a bit, but no problems here.
