I actually like this place, if you ever saw the movie The Good Girl w/Jennifer Aniston, remeber "Retail Rodeo" or like those cheezy souvenir convience stores in Vegas, then this is your place....its location kinda seedy -immediate area surrounding & interesting folks outside in the parking lot in front of it that seem to congregate in recycling bin when open or liquor store & the empty businesses at the end resembling old ghost town remnants of sadness from missing old flourishing days of what will never be again (and yep there be tweekers, winos & more interesting folk to sum it up)...if that doesn't scare you, then come on in!!! Its a drug store, a market, a dept store, school/office supplies, small appliances & even got some interesting/cool souvenirs & gift ideas...I love it!!! I took my daughter there once & even she thought it was cool, it really is...reminds me of the old days when Rexall Drug stores where allover, you had that friendly service back then, when you came in, there was always someone there to assist you, as well as a cashier (nowadays, good luck w/that, its the cashier by themselves & don't you dare ask them a question w/the big line behind you...lol). I do have to say (not being negative, but honest here) the person whose always stocking items, which is an older gentlemen does appear to be unhappy all the time & not really friendly (you know, maybe it's just cuz he's just old & I'm old too, so I know it kinda how he feels, be kind and don't focus too much on him, he's actually harmless)...I will keep shopping there, its great because you go in, get what you need, & then some extra stuff (clothes..etc) and get out fast, can't beat that nowadays......bottomline..its convenient & surprisingly cheap Forgot to mention I know a lot people go there for their beer since its cheaper than the nearby liquor stores & gas station. read more

My mother broke her fibula tibia and ankle along with 5 fractures in her leg. She needed a shower chair to shower so we decided to check here. We found a shower chair for $105 bought it, got it home realized it didn't fit in our bathtub. I called to ask if I could return it since all we did was come home set in in that bathtub and it didn't work. All their tags and everything still on it. They said I could not return it so now I'm stuck with a shower chair that hasn't been used and can't be used. I'm sure if I left it at their doorstep they'd have bo problem reselling it. Ridiculous. Better off looking on offer up or even Amazon who will have no issues returning items. read more

Sail Drug store is a one of a kind store. It reminds me of an older generation drug store/general store, a 99 cent store and a discount Hallmark store all rolled into one with a friendly hometown feel! Its different! They have items you see at the .99 cent store, snacks, eggs,milk, canned food, stationary, very cheapy .99 cent store type toys/gifts, random pieces of clothing and meds. You can tell by walking in this store, they tend to cater to the elderly crowd a bit more based on the items they offer. I love shopping locally first and support businesses like this, my only complaint is that they need to carry MORE STUFF and maybe update the store a bit, feels like a time warp stepping in here however that might be part of the odd charm it has, this is a great location for a lil market/ .99 store kinda place, especially for those of us who live in walking distance, in upper yucaipa. The staff here are super nice, never bothersome or fake nice. They all seem like they care about you as a customer and enjoy small talk with the regulars. Nice hometown feel. Thats why I wish they had more items, so I wouldnt have to drive to Stater Bros or the .99 cent store, I could just walk here, get what I need, enjoy a friendly hello and be on my way. Over all, good little odds and ends store, could be so much more but for now and for what it is. I was excited about visiting Sail drugs because of the "old-school" feel and fixtures, and I drove quite a distance. I even had a list of items that I needed and intended to purchase there. When I first arrived, I asked to use the washroom and was told by a very surly cashier that it was for "employees only". I called and spoke with the manager, Paul, and his level of customer service was about the same. He said that they'd had some problems with the homeless washing up. I told him that hard-working customers who want to buy something are not the same as the homeless and people will stay longer and spend more if they are made to feel welcome and comfortable. No dice! Needless to say, I will not be visiting this sorry excuse for a public business again. Any chain drug store would be an upgrade! read more

we have been shopping there for years, I know the older store man is'nt very friendly but the cashiers are very nice. you can get some really good deals there. cool nic nacks, hats, things you wouldn't find anywhere else. some of the medicines and vitamins are cheaper than other drug stores. read more

Well, steer clear of the old guy with a grey pony tail!!! He makes u wish u had not entered the store. . don't ask him for anything, or help. He will quickly let u know u r an inconvenience .....on the other hand, the cashiers are friendly, and very helpful .... Can't even imagine what working him must be like.. .the lady .....blonde. It's a small town store drugstore prices are less than half compared to Walgreens and Rite Aid the things that you need the store is getting smaller and smaller and eventually will disappear if we don't start buying things from them eggs are like half the price is it then stater brothers check it out sales is very nice and let's keep them in business so we can keep them in our city read more

GREAT place. People are pleasant, helpful. I first went in for the jumbo eggs. Better / lower price there. One day, I took a few minutes to look around. Bananas were cheaper, and nicer than the 99cents store... Then, I bought a box of cards. Next trip, I bought clothes... Very nice items, for an affordable price. I even saw the Andre champagne at a lower price... I keep going there, though it is quite a distance for me. When I have time, I look around, and always stumble on something that is a good deal. Today, I looked up the number, to try and ask them to order 5 more nightgowns like the ones I previously bought. They were great, and at a low price. I can't praise this place enough... 5 stars for the awesome "out of pocket" RX prices! I had a prescription that cost $68.00 at WalMart and they always charge me $11.64 for the SAME THING here! Vons, Ralphs, Walgreens are all just as bad as Walmart, so I highly recommend you comparing prices (easy to call and ask!) before you decide where to go next time! I love their "cheap" isles, eggs, etc. Really outdated inside and out, needing a major face-lift, and the people that hang around outside scare the heck out of me most of the time. Maybe I'm just a wimpy chick, but YIKES!!! Bad area, still do go for my prescriptions because the prices are the best I have found to this date! So far, the rims on my car have not been ripped off while I shop, keeping my fingers crossed! read more
