The overweight Asian male pharmacy tech is the reason I will never step foot in this cvs again. I went on march 23rd at around 8:50pm. He literally laughed in my face when I told him I would have to hold off on buying a prescription because it was not able to be covered by my insurance and I couldn't afford it. I have never felt so belittled by a customer service worker. He needs to have respect for others and learn how to do the customer service portion of his job. If you are going to lock up a large portion of your goods, then you need to provide staff available to unlock the goods for those that want to purchase them. I wanted to buy some deodorant, which of course was locked, so I pushed the button for assistance . I then noticed customers in three other aisles had requested assistance as well. I waited ten minutes calling for assistance without success, and when I finally walked out the other three aisles were still requesting assistance. I went to Walgreens and was in and out with what I wanted in less than three minutes. read more

Warning, warning, warning !!!!!!! Hopefully you take my advice and stay away from this CVS. Long story short. I had back surgery February 23. My pain medication was due to be picked up from this CVS on the 19th of March. I called the pharmacist and the first lady said it could be filled on the 19th but the male pharmacist refused to fill it and told me I had to wait until the 25th.The male pharmacist put in the notes for everybody else not to fill it until the 25th. Not really sure why he went out of his way to screw me. I just didn't want to be in pain after my back surgery if you are in pain and need medication this pharmacist is incompetent and a horrible person and should be fired. All my other medications that I have filled there are always hard to get refills on. They will tell me they are ready. I drive 25 minutes get there and they are not ready. I don't understand how they can get that wrong. I finally had all my medication transferred out of that crap hole to Walgreens. I suggest anybody that gets medication at CVS transfer it out of there. If you try to call, you are on hold for at least 15 to 30 minutes they just don't like to answer the phone. They have nine staff and when you go to pick up your medication, be prepared to sit there in line for 30 minutes and deal with rude workers I called CVS headquarters to complain. It's baffling that the pharmaceutical industry is a billion dollar industry and yet pharmacies are always insanely short staffed. No one ever available to answer the phone, the drive thru is hit or miss, and the inside line will be out the door a majority of the time. A wait time at any given time or day is at least 20 minutes because 1 person is filling the Rx and there's only 1 other at the register. Sometimes a 3rd in the back who isn't interacting with customers at all no matter how long the line gets. read more

The pharmacy tech and pharmacist are completely unaware of current CDC guidelines for immunization of immune compromised individuals. Disappointed my husband was turned away for his Covid-19 Moderna booster vaccine when their company website even shows it's available and we scheduled for his booster - not first or second dose! Checked in for the shot and they found out it was his third dose ("booster" is just another dose -- read CDC guidelines CVS!!) and they TURNED HIM AWAY when he is first in line qualified to receive it. They recommended we call customer service to complain the website let us schedule it . So uninformed. We called a neighboring (non CVS) pharmacy and they took him right away no issue. Stay up to date CVS this was very disappointing UPDATE: After speaking with leadership at CVS brand they do INDEED administer the booster shot as of this date, so clearly the staff at this particular location is uninformed. For the vulnerable population I hope that changes very soon however if you insist on using this pharmacy I suggest calling and speaking to someone DIRECTLY to confirm they have or do what you need within their scope. They SHOULD NOT have turned away my husband and it's beyond frustrating they don't have better direct leadership to prevent this from happening to anyone else read more

I've been using this pharmacy for 12 yrs due to the location to my home and it seems I'm disappointed at least 3-4 times a year on poor customer service, once they even filled my prescription and when i got home it was somebody else's heart medication! Today I asked the pharmacist or the person taking the prescriptions for help locating an item. When she found out my purpose was to use this item for my child, she refused to help me any further and told me I need to follow the manufactures guidelines and call my doctor. I'm confused why she couldn't help me find the item and looked to see if it was, in the manufactures guidelines to use on a child, after about 15 minutes of searching on my own, I found the product and on the label it states for use on children 2 & older, my child is a preteen, so she very well fits in the manufactures guidelines of it being acceptable to use on my child. The customer service at the store has always been unfriendly and poor, just another example of why I have taken most my business to other pharmacies, and will no longer use this CVS read more

The Yucaipa CVS pharmacy is the absolute worst pharmacy in the city. They take a perverse pride in providing no customer service. The checkout lines can be long and the totally inept so called pharmacy manager merely stands there watching rather than assign a second clerk to help out the customers. The drive thru line is just as bad. They don't know the meaning of the word efficient. When they get a decent pharmacy tech that is efficient and helpful cvs ships them out leaving Yucaipa with the dregs. Their so called manager is obviously part of the cvs affirmative action program as he is not only totally clueless but shows no ability to learn from his many shortcomings. Even when you tell him what he should be doing he ignores the suggestion. What an embarrassment for a big company. They should fire whoever is the district director because they clearly aren't doing their job. All one has to do is read Yelp to see how badly people in Yucaipa think of their store. read more

I called the CVS pharmacy this morning and afternoon 3 times. Each time I had to listen to a recorded voice ask the same questions, which I dutifully answered each time as requested. Eventually (after a couple of minutes), I was given the choice to speak with the pharmacist (I should have been given this choice much quicker). I was placed on hold. Apparently there was NOBODY AVAILABLE TO ANSWER THE PHONE as I held on for about 45 minutes with no answer. And while I was holding, an advertisement ran every 10 or 15 seconds regarding their flu and covid injections. One was enough, maybe another every 5 or 10 minutes would have been a little too much, but I was continually bombarded with this ad several times a minute for the entirely of the period I held on (expecting an answer). And when the ad wasn't playing, they had what should have been pleasant music playing. Unfortunately, that music was very hard to listen to as it's fidelity sounded like screeching over the phone. Just holding was a nightmare. And I held, and held, and held ... for 45minutes until I had to leave the phone. I called back again about 30 minutes later.... and again I held and held and held, maybe about 30 minutes having to hear the ad about their injections constantly. I gave up. I tried again the the afternoon ... again waited 45 minutes and guess what? No answer! Don't the people working in the pharmacy understand that people calling are important and need to be answered? Or do they actually want to help their customers? Do they care at all? How do they stay in business? read more

Fraud !!! Do not purchase anything from this company!!! I purchased a very high end cologne from this store a short while ago. I should have followed my instincts and knew something wasn't right when I saw a Creed fragrance in their store . If you don't know seeing a Creed fragrance in CVS would be like seeing a Coach handbag , Chanel dress or Cartier bracelet on sale in the Pharmacy. I purchased it for a very great ( too good to be true ) price. For a couple of reasons I decided not to open it and recently decided to list it on EBAY .. not to make a profit , just to get the money I spent back . Turns out it was a COUNTERFEIT!!! EBAY took my listing down and notified me that my product was in fact a counterfeit. They said they confirmed with the manufacturer that it was a fake . Worst part is not only did they take down my listing but they froze /seized the proceeds from my recently closed auctions ... $963 in total !! Why ? Well if I was trying to sell one counterfeit, who's to say everything else I sold wasn't a counterfeit. I have tried in vain to address the problem with CVS . The regional manger will not speak to me . I have spent several hours on hold and been transferred about as much as they've hung up on me . Next step will be a lawsuit or small claims .. learn my lesson , stay away from these criminals read more

I moved my business from Vons to CVS about a year ago. Time to move again. They are unable to remove prescriptions from their automatic phone and text refill system if they are now being filled by my mail order prescription company (CVS Caremark). This results in text messages offering to refill prescriptions that they should know my insurance company will not pay for and I already have. I tried working with them in store and by phone. I will move my two remaining prescriptions to another local pharmacy. read more

I have never had an issue with using CVS pharmacy until I came to this place. Every time I leave, I feel angry and frustrated. Relying on this place for my prescriptions was a terrible choice. Every time I would try filling a prescription, I never get it the first time, maybe after 3-5 visits of talking with them. Every staff tells me a different reason to why I can't fill my prescription. One instance, they told me it was at another cvs pharmacy so I have to call and tell them to put it back. When I called, they had no clue to what I was talking about and told me it is at the Yucaipa pharmacy, the one I was already at. After being a month with out this medicine because of their terrible service, I told them flat out there was nothing else I can try to do in order for me to have them get my prescription filled. After 5 TIMES of going back and forth to this CVS they simply were like "oh yeah we have it". Then, I watched they staff member search every where for it when it was in the bin by the register, labeled "to be picked up". They asked me if I wanted to schedule another refill for a different medicine I currently take and I said "No thank you" Just got a text saying that medicine is refilled and ready to pickup at this pharmacy. Deborah at the CVS in Yucaipa was the most kind and friendly person throughout numerous customer interactions we witnessed while at the counter. She helped a customer get a bathroom key, handled a need at the self checkout, answered the phone call from a distressed customer who had just lost her grandmother, and processed our cvs reward coupons within a matter of minutes, and all with a friendly and warm demeanor throughout! If I could give zero or negative zero i would. I had half of my medication filled at a different pharmacy they said i could fill the rest at a different pharmacy. She was at her limit to give. I thought because i usually get a month worth that when I only got 20 I thought i could grab the rest with in the next couple of days. I went in and asked if I could get it filled. I spoke to Nicolas. I was like i didn't get all my medicine if I usually get it at 1 time i don't understand why i couldn't get the rest Nicolas said call back tomorrow which is today. I called and they said there was a note saying they would not fill it there because I was trying to fill it early. So instead of telling me to wait until the day I can fill it he wrote the note saying I keep trying to fill it earlier How am I also supposed to know they when I got the 20 from the other pharmacy that I needed to wait the 7 days to fill. Then make me seem like i have a problem. I don't work there all you had to say is it was to soon. They also denied my dad's medication when he was dying . I should of known better. It's sad that I would rather go cold turkey on my medication then deal with these people. Which is dangerous. They don't care about anyone. I see all the horrible reviews and clearly nothing has been done. Get a different job if your not happy or if you want to power trip or be a man and tell me your not going to fill it instead of wasting my time. I am changing ONE star to three because after returning to the CVS, I realized mistakes can happen and I have not had any more horrible experiences. I use this place out of convenience and their drive through pharmacy. I find drop off quick and easy. If you have good insurance, I do not see this place to be of any problem. I will say the pharmacy is never not busy, which is good, but it can be difficult if a patient is sick & frustrated w/having already dealt with going to the doctor/ER. I rarely go to CVS except to fill scrips or buy $20 worth of stuff because we get $5 off with a coupon. The pharmacy staff is always helpful even suggesting a cheaper, generic version of said drug when it is available. I have never had a problem with the generics they recommend plus it saves the moolah for more important things like Red Bull & vodka. : 0 The staff at this CVS also deserves kudos for dealing with a pissy old man, 3x ago I was there, who was upset they didn't have more cashiers. Granted the line was long but the employee continuously apologized and did their best to get everyone rung up and on their way.
