You can chose to do wine tasting inside or outside by the trees, which is always the option if it isn't too hot out. I love their reds. Their reds are in the deeper side, the more bold, the more, dry, side. If this is your jam, I highly recommend you try this place out. Fast forward, just checking around wineries and saw Seghesio again since our favorite Zin winery (Stephen & Walker) went out of business. I checked their website and wow, they accept walk ins now! Although we could have made a reservation, we decided to go without one to see what the new experience was like. We came in a Friday afternoon and were super cautious. We came, nobody was there. The front greeted us and explained the tasting. You can't do split so my MIL wanted the Italian varietal tasting, which we wanted the Zin but she was adamant. Bummer bc they are known for their Zins! We went with the Italian. Sat outside. Beautiful grounds! Have huge play area for dogs and kids, cornhole, bacchi ball, and beautiful lawn. Lots of trees and shade and it was very peaceful. Our server was super nice and attentive. He also provided a small nut snack and generous pours. We stated that we were going to buy many bottles and really into Zins so he let us taste a couple. We loved it so much we bought a whole case! We got the Italian varietals and the 2 Zins that we were able to taste. Due to the new positive experience, we would come back and try their Zin tasting and possibly look into membership.

Definitely try to make a reservation in advance for a more personalized arrival experience. We arrived a few minutes before our afternoon tasting appointment and were greeted warmly by the host staff whom poured our first glass of wine at arrival and showed us to our table. Our host Tome came by to greet us and welcomed us to the winery and brought us fresh popcorn to accompany our wines. He asked us which types of wine we liked and personalized our tasting experience accordingly. We tried a variety of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wines and it really was truly one of the best wine experiences we have ever had in Napa. We also didn't feel pressured to buy anything or sign up for a wine club. The wine host staff just wanted us to have a good experience with them, which we truly did. We left with 3 bottles of wine, two for Christmas gifts and one for us. We truly want to thank the entire Lynmar Estate Winery staff for a great experience and we look forward to returning!

The vibe was inviting and family friendly. There was a cozy fireplace in the front as well. We ordered a glass of Lyra Pinot Noir and a glass of Aries Chardonnay. My Pinot Noir was smooth while the wifey's Chardonnay was crisp and refreshing. The wine was great quality. Overall we enjoyed our experience at Marine Layer Wines. The staff was nice and helpful. I wound up buying a couple bottles to take home with me and so did my daughter. A pallet is a very strange thing to explain to people because my taste and what I think about that wines flavors and nuances it really varies from person to person. But I was so impressed with this lovely product. If I wasn't there, wouldn't be those two bottles in my car. When we arrived I was amazed at how beautiful the estate is and the vineyards are well kept and breathtaking. As we entered the estate we were greeted my the host as my friends had reservations and since it was a hot day we did our tasting inside with a wonderful window view of the vineyards. We were each giving a glass of the Pinot Noir Rose which was absolutely refreshing and delicious this was actually my favorite wine. We had wine tasting of both Red and White wines. I am more of a Pinot Noir drinker than Chardonnay. Every tasting we had was really good, but no of them topped that fantastic Rose. Ursula, I believe was her name was our wine host is she was amazing and explained the different wines and the vineyards and where their grapes are grown. After out tasting we had a really nice picnic outside and enjoyed each others company. I would definitely come back without a doubt.
