What a massive unique Bakery, Coffee Shop and Restaurant WOWED . Been a customer since opening in Dearborn Heights, always fabulous food. Massive dining room and huge area upstairs too. Best ever Falafel made fresh each order, massive selection of unique Middle Eastern food's. I ordered a Long Armenian Sujuk w Akawi Cheese, a long time favorite of mine. Hey they made it fresh hot, straight outta the oven. She had a Couple Kafta logs, tender juicy flavorful Yummy . Full Coffee Bar inside and many bakery goods. I ordered a box of delicious Meat Pies, purchase 10 get 2 Free. A super deal at $12 , a must try on your visit. This Lebanese bakery is absolutely incredible. I used to go to a Saj when I lived in Dearborn Heights and it's one of the things I miss the most when I moved out of the city. Now we have one in Canton and immediately it's filling the void. The place is so spacious and elegant. You have a station where you can order baked goods, breakfast, and desserts and on another side there is a person who serves tea and coffee. The center of the room has a variety of prepackaged products that you normally find in Middle Eastern grocers as well. You can't forget about the upstairs where there's available tables and chairs to just sit down and chill while you eat or drink. One thing I can't overlook is the amazing and courteous staff who make you feel like you're at home with family. Hope Saj Canton sees incredible success in this area.

Love this place. Fresh middle eastern food. Great hummus too and staff is always friendly. Usually when you're waiting for your order they'll give you a pastry sample. Great way to try new flavors!!!! Both chicken and beef shawarmas are great and so is the beef kabob.

    4 slice margarita pizza $20.00!!!!

A few days ago, I tried ordering through DoorDash, but after my driver was turned away four different times and I waited over an hour, I finally canceled the order. I decided to give them another chance and picked it up myself today, hoping it was just a one-time issue. Unfortunately, the food quality and attention to detail were noticeably different from what I've always loved. The chicken shawarma lacked the bold, flavorful seasoning they're known for and was very light on the garlic. They also forgot the small container of garlic sauce they normally include. The hummus arrived plain--no drizzle of olive oil and no sprinkle of paprika, which has always been part of the presentation. Even the pickled turnips were a very pale pink instead of the vibrant, tangy pickles they've traditionally served. None of these things alone would have prompted a review, but together they make it feel like the quality and consistency have declined. As a long-time customer, that's really disappointing because this used to be one of my favorite places in Canton. I truly hope this is just a temporary slip and not the new standard, because I'd love to see La Shisho return to the quality that made me a loyal customer for so many years.

The food is even better than its predecessor in the same location. In my opinion, it has the best fahsah (even better than another Canton location or their Dearborn twin restaurant). More flavor, more meat, and a tastier crunchier bread to go with it. The other options have more variety than many other places. I like the broiled chicken, the chicken shawarma, shawarma combo... tons of delicious options. I can't stop thinking about the fahsah, though. It's a "stick in your mind forever" kind of dish, especially the way they prepare it here. The appetizers (Kibbee, Ghanouj, Hummus, Spicy Potatoes) were all fantastic. Careful with the veggie grape leaves, though! They tasted like a pile of bitter lemon and were a bit tough to eat - only bad thing I've ever had here. One of the biggest improvements over the restaurant that was here before is the service. Previously, we went and felt ignored as the servers left water cups empty and didn't bring parts of our meal and chatted with their friends - the service was terrible. This new restaurant, with a different menu but with some familiar items, doesn't share the same fate - the team members here are attentive, and friendly, and the place feels cleaner and more well-kept. I highly recommend going to Al-Jannah. Did I mention the fahsah enough times yet? :)
