The environment was nice and the waitresses were nice as well. I ordered the shrimp & steak meal which comes with noodles and a side of fried rice. The sauce they used for the meat was very salty for my liking but still ate it. I absolutely loved their fried cheesecake, would go back solely for that. We got take out today from here. 1st of great set up they have for social distancing. Have a little window set up, must call before going in, hand sanitizers on the table. The guy who pushed our food through the window was very nice and had a smile on his face. The wait staff can be either too attentive (like won't leave you be to eat) or they aren't there at all. Tip, sit at the bar not a table near the bar. You'll get virtually no service but the bar tenders are usually really good and serve you your food and drinks in a timely fashion and don't bother you. The food is amazing! Horrible experience. We did Hibachi and the man who was cooking was disgusting. He targeted my sister the entire time, not harassing anyone else. And I'll preface this by saying I've been to hibachi dozens of times at other places and know the chefs like to have fun and play around, but this man was bordering sexual harassment. He continuously sprayed water at her face, to the point where her shirt was soaked. Seriously soaked. He kept telling her to open her mouth, spraying her in the eyes, even after she said to stop or turned her face. He wouldn't stop, and the harassment kept coming. He pretended to smack the fire from the grill into her face, tried to make her beg for her food after giving her none after everyone got some. He called her baby over 20 times. It was disgusting. There were 6 of us at the table, 2 different parties and everyone was silent, and confused. I had to step in and put my hand up at one point to get him away from her. This man is a creep and deserves to be fired. Do not recommend. read more

This place is great!! A hidden gem for sure. The food is delicious and the hibachi chefs entertain so well! They even let kids try catching "saki" (water) out of a baby bottle and they include them in catching cucumbers and such in the air as well! My little one very much enjoyed that. Take-out for COVID was absolutely flawless!!! Not sure many other restaurants could pull off hibachi takeout so well. We got the hibachi special for 2 so that we could try everything, and it was all delicious! My only gripe with the meat and seafood is that I received the smallest portion of lobster that it might as well not have even been there. Other than that everything was delicious, there is more food than most humans could ever stomach in a given meal. The fried rice is not my favorite I've ever had but the noodles were immaculate, so next time I would just sub for noodles entirely. My wife and I go over Friday night to Sakana for sushi. We generally order the same thing: Philadelphia roll, tuna avocado roll, out of control roll, and a spicy girl roll. I'm relatively new to the sushi game (less than one year of eating sushi actively) and so far Sakana has had the most consistent and quality sushi rolls. The sushi is always made right on time and never sits for a while. Rice cooked perfectly. Soy sauce and wasabi are great. Some issues are that the menus and seating/tables can be sticky. I always get a root beer and it hasn't been flat yet (that I can remember). Service is usually pretty good. We often get the same waitress, I think her name is Kayla and she is very nice. We have sat at the sushi bar three times and two of the times, the sushi chef gave us a free sushi bar appetizer. I can't speak on the hibachi or other menu items, however. Overall, I highly recommend their sushi, it's the best in the Taunton area that I've found so far. read more
