First time here! Good food, Great service ! Food/Drink: Very tasty, very well cooked, very well plated. Full sushi/sashimi menu. Appetizers, drinks, and deserts. Sushi: nice fat rolls, did not skimp. Fresh ingredients, plenty of flavor. Dinning Area: Pretty small for hibachi but, open and quiet. Prices: Relatively comparable. Sushi roll, miso soup, side salad and hibachi chicken/steak combo $32! Parking: Plenty of space, shared mall type lot. Bathrooms: Bathrooms were clean and medium in size. Atmosphere: During the Sunday dinner rush, pretty packed, but mostly mot crazy. Staff/Attendants: standard Asian place fast taking, but super nice and always there to fill drinks and put on a show. I'll go back because it's actually pretty damn good! 10/10

The food is always good, they don't disappoint. The service is great, staff are very pleasant. The restaurant is a little dated, but that's ok.

Four stars for the deals (50% off sushi Monday-Thursday) but not five because it was pretty normal sushi, nothing especially fancy. I had two sushi rolls and a crab Rangoon appetizer. Service was a little slow but I think it was just a busy Wednesday evening.

Come for the sushi deal! This resturant has a 50% off sushi deal Mon-Thurs. Their sushi is good, but the deal is what keeps me coming back. You can even get a Sushi dinner or their sushi & sashimi combo for 50% off, these items come with a miso soup and ginger salad. Great deal! I got the combo last time, it is chefs choice but I got 6 basic tuna rolls, 6 nigiri (variety), and 6 sahsimi (also variety). It was yummy and very filling. This time I got some of the special rolls. Unless otherwise noted the special rolls have 6 pieces. I got the Bonzai roll and the futo maki roll (8 pieces). They were both good. The Bonzai roll is great if you wish to avoid rice. We also got a crab rangoon appetizer (5) which is not part of the 50% off deal. That being said they were delicious, they didn't short us on filling (I like lots of filling in my crab rangoons). I plan to return to this resturant for the 50% deal. I would also return to try out the Hibachi which was very busy for a Wednesday night.

My boyfriend and I went here for lunch today! We didn't wait at all! It was around 2pm on Monday afternoon. He got the dynamite roll & Samurai roll because he really likes fried sushi! He was really impressed and he was really glad it was crunchy! I had the rainbow roll and the salmon love roll because I was going for a little healthier of an option! I ate the entire rainbow roll and it was delicious and fresh!!!!! The salmon love roll was pretty good but I wasn't as impressed with that one. Our meal only costed 28$ before tip because they do half priced sushi Monday - Thursday! Our server was nice and answered any questions we had, and always kept our drinks full! They also have a hibachi grill if you are looking for that kind of thing! The bathrooms were clean and kept tidy and the place also looked well kept. Overall a good experience.

Good food inc teriyaki chicken, shrimp, hibachi tables are perfect for groups and kids enjoy it too! Great lunch specials too!

Sake is located off US-35 across the way from The Greene. It is housed in a plaza with Waffle House, K-Mart, Pizza Hut, etc. There's also plenty of free parking. What lured my family and I into the restaurant was the allure of half off sushi... plus if we could get our military discount added, that would be even better! My family of four was quickly seated into a pretty cool looking booth... but weren't given enough utensils for four people. Ehh. After some awkward talk with our server, my family and I decided on going for the sushi. We ordered the spider roll, dragon roll, philadeliphia roll, crab stick sushi, rainbow roll... and a few more whose names I can't recall. I can't say the sushi was delicious. I can't even say the sushi was good. The sushi was just ok. Nothing more, nothing less. The only good that came out of the meal was that my H finally got the chance to try Sapporo beer (we haven't had Japanese in a long while). It definitely wasn't worth the $76 + tip bill that followed. And THAT was half off? Jeez!

The sushi is good but only because it's half off on M-TH. Sometimes I feel like they use Walmart fish and not fresh sushi grade fish.

Each meal begins with soup and salad as appetizers. You then choose between white rice, fried rice, or noodles as your side. The chef prepares the meat and vegetables--such as onions, zucchini, and carrots--alongside fried rice on the grill in front of you. Our food was delicious and served hot. One member of our group prefers their steak well done and remarked that it was perfect while still being tender! We ordered house sake served cold; one bottle provides about eight shot glasses worth. The service was excellent--our waitress was attentive and friendly. The chef was entertaining, although a bit quiet. The ambiance was nice, with the lights slightly dimmed and several hibachi grills in the dining area. However, none of the other parties disturbed us, as each group seemed contained at their table without causing any noise disruption. They also offer birthday celebrations with a flaming candle and a slice of cheesecake! Overall, it was a good experience, and we plan to return

The highlight was the nigiri -- especially the tuna and yellowtail, both excellent. The salmon roe, however, was extremely salty and nearly inedible for us. We also had pieces of the lobster tempura roll, California roll, and spicy crab avocado roll. All were good, with portions that matched the value pricing. Even the ginger and wasabi tasted fresh. We also ordered the fried tofu appetizer, which was lightly battered and very well prepared. The oil and batter tasted clean and fresh, letting the tofu stand out rather than overpowering it. The restaurant itself was very clean, though the men's room could use some updated fixtures. Overall, definitely worth a visit if you're looking for quality sushi in the Dayton area.
