Awesome! Located in the Dayton Mall. Way more worth your money than those over priced hibachi restaurants near by. They have delicious yum yum sauce & the teriyaki chicken and shrimp is my favorite! They give you large portion too!

    Amazing!!

Super tasty place with very expansive sushi and hibachi menu. I've eaten here twice now and both…read moretimes were great. Last time I got the vegetable hibachi with noodles. Noodles were soft with a heavy soy flavor, veggies were tasty, light teriyaki sauce but could have used a bit more sear. They included onion, carrots, zucchini and broccoli. I would love some mushroom or scallions to be added, even some peppers for a bit more variety. The salad was tasty and fresh, the clear soup had a light umami flavor, worked great as a palate cleanser between items. Sometimes I can't do clear soups because of dashi being added (fishy) but this one tastes like veggie broth and I could eat it just fine. Spouse got two rolls and forgive me because I don't know what they were called but he was happy. the peppers on top were fresh, the fish nicely cut. And you could tell the avocado was very very fresh!

Crab rangoon was good. The sauce wasn't just the normal sweet chili sauce. Definitely sweet but with more spices. The ginger dressing on the salad was very good. Clear soup was flavorless. Still not sure why it is so common at restaurants. Tuna sushi was good. It had a wasabi type topping that was very good. Salmon was ok. Texture wasn't the typical tender type. Surf and turf roll was mediocre. The beef on top needed flavoring. Maybe just a little salt when cooking it. The sauces in top (I believe it was labeled as ranch and balsamic) didn't add enough flavor to make sense. The magic roll was also ok. Nothing special. The spicy tuna inside was not spicy at all. The inside is nice and everything is clean. Overall, it is fine. Nothing special.

When the meals comes out it does look small however once you start eating more than likely you will not be able to finish the dish. Services was great our drinks never went empty, the food came out quick, and like I said above so good. Definitely check this place out. Tip: if you check in on yelp you get a free order of eddanome. I hope you enjoy this little place as much as we do

We got here just before 6pm and we snagged the last booth and people kept flooding in after us. It definitely gets busy on Friday nights. We ordered the ninja roll, the hulk roll and a shrimp tempura roll. The ninja and hulk were delicious. As was the shrimp tempura but the others were more unique. Service was great, very friendly. Now the not so great part- this place needs some renovations. It's not the most appealing once you really start looking around. The prices are steep. Also they apparently stopping selling alcohol? I see pictures of beers in previous reviews but the waiter just said "we don't have our liquor license" I didn't press it but i wanted to say SINCE WHEN???? Anyway! The sushi was good but I probably wouldn't come back on my own accord.

Service was perfect, greeted right away, friendly and attentive throughout our visit. The sushi presentation was beautiful with a lot of attention to the details. Minimal rice, just enough to surround the filling and hold together, not too much to overpower the texture. All three rolls were different with unique flavors and textures. The ones with multiple fish selections on them were done perfectly balanced with enough of each to taste them all. We also got the crab rangoon which were the sweetest little pillows filled with a creamy crab flavored goodness. For our return dinner visit we again got sushi and crab rangoon but also got two entrees so we'd have leftovers the next day for traveling. The fried rice isn't quite what we expected but the shrimp and beef were cooked perfectly and the flavors were spot on. I highly recommend Ozu852, especially for sushi, and will definitely return when in the area.

We love sushi - travel all the way to columbus just to have some from the unofficial "japantown" at kenny center Upon arrival at 2 pm, not super busy but the store appeared bright and well decorated. We were directed to pick our preferred seating. Menus were brough quickly, drink orders we taken and brought out quickly. Sprites, came with a cup of ice. This was were it went downhill. My husband is allergic to shellfish, and we eat out understanding there is a chance of cross contamination based on what we order. He had a mild reaction - we determined his reaction was from the glass with ice, which indicates it was not washed well. Not a good sign... We ordered house lo mein, king salmon nigiri, tuna nigiri, tuna roll, and one chicken and vegetable hibachi. Sushi? The rice was long grain and unseasoned... it fell apart as my husband picked it up. The fish was.. ok.. not wowed. Even the king salmon was...just salmon and not anything amazing. My tuna roll never made it. My husband said this was the first time he had bitter ginger... he spat that back out - ginger is suppose to be a palate cleanser... Lo mein? Was ok. It was not greasy, which is what I usually encounter. Noodles were soft, but ok. Flavor.. lacking.. and there was a notcieable amount of sauce at the bottom.. so it was too runny. The hiabachi? The fried rice, saddest fries rice ever. It was hard middle and .. flavor was offputting.. this is coming from a girl that was raised to eat rice everyday in many forms. I love durian, and this rice manage to offput me.... the flavor was just weird. The hibachi chicken and veggies were the best part..sauce flavor was great and the veggies were cooked very well and chicken was juicy. So overall... would not recommend due to cleanliness (based on contact contamination from a cup) and... food was just meh
