I ordered online that was moderately simple to do. They were quick and was ready a few minutes after I arrived (I would rather wait on it than it wait on me). My wife got shrimp lo mein and I got General Tso's. Both were good. We ordered their crab rangoons. We weren't super impressed with those. I liked them but my wife didn't. They didn't travel well. I think if we ate them right away they would have been better but as they sat, they got gummy. We've been ordering from here for years. We have always enjoyed our food and the service has been good too. However we ordered on Christmas Eve and let me say NEVER AGAIN. I ordered online and it said it'd be ready for pick up in 20 minutes. When I arrived it was packed like people waiting everywhere. We waited and waited and waited. Finally I got a chance to ask about my order. The guy I asked said it'd be just 5 more minutes. In all I waited over an hour and a half. People walking in and ordering got their order while me and many others waited. Not sure what was going on. I realized it was super busy being one of the only places open Christmas Eve but they need to tell people a more realistic wait time. Won't order again on Christmas Eve that's for sure. Both were well cooked and tasty. A good choice for dinner. BTW, I don't recommend the wonton soup. China Dragon isn't so bad. It's a pretty good value for what you get. There's not many halfway decent Chinese places around here. It's kind of small in the dining area. This is good for takeout. I had the Hunan bean curd. It's about $7 for the regular portion. This came with loads of tofu. It really wasn't bad like I thought it might be. Maybe I've been to too many bad Chinese places. A great place for take out. We work in Xenia and this is our go to for Chinese take out. The flavors are great and portions are out of this world. A smidge disappointed in the Hot n Sour soup, not enough stuff in the soup compared to other joints but more spicy which made up for that. Very enjoyable for lunch. Hot and sour soup. That's the two stars. If you want to wait over an hour and don't care if most of your food is cold, this is for you! I asked for no green peppers and I think they gave me double. Honestly, I was on my way out the back door when the delivery guy knocked on the front door (since they act like they can't do debit cards, I didn't care. I still had my money.) I know people who run these joints don't care what you think. So this won't hurt their feelings. I may go there again when I can stand there and wait on the food and check it before I leave. They are quite notorious in town for charging more or increase their delivery charge at the last minute. We thought to give it a try today. And yesssss it is true indeed. I placed an order for pick up so they can't up charge the delivery charge. When I was picking up the order I asked for a receipt and this is what I got stapled to the menu. I have attached a picture of what I received. I asked to speak to a manager and the lady said that she is the manager. The lady refused to give a real receipt (not the credit card receipt) with a break down of what I ordered. I didn't budge and then she scribbled something on a receipt paper not from her regular check book. I have attached a picture of that too. Looking at the their menu it seems I was overcharged by $4.00 - I am not only going to bbb but also file IRS form 3949-a to report tax evasion by not creating or providing receipts. They tasted like They Had bed sitting on a country since the order was placed. The order was correct. The one positive. However, everything had to be reheated!!! This might be an older name for the restaurant. Today (02/2020) is goes by the name of Cheng's Gourmet. If it is managed by the same people, I understand why they tried to give it a new name. It is anything but Gourmet. I got food poisoning 3 years ago and have not been back before today. I was really in the mood for an oriental meal, and decided to try them again. Today I stopped by and placed a carryout order. I ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken, and took it back to my office. I observed there was no sweet and sour sauce. I called their restaurant and the woman apologized, but made no effort whatsoever to fix the problem they caused. She asked if I could drive back to the restaurant and pick up the sauce, but I could not due to a time commitment. She said there was nothing they would do, not even send their delivery person to deliver it to me. Very poor customer service. I paid for a dish, and it was not accurate; they did not care in the least. Sweet and Sour Chicken, without the Sweet and without the Sour, Cheng's Gourmet style. We were regular customers until they ignored my email letting them know (nicely) about the strong taste of dirt in my vegetable fried rice, including the gritty feel of dirt in my mouth. I figured it was an accident and didn't expect a refund of my money, only wanted them to be aware so they could maybe be more careful to wash their vegetables, but the fact that they couldn't even acknowledge my bad experience was enough to show me they didn't care and obviously didn't have any pride in their food.
