I think that their sushi and soup options are much better than their Chinese options, though we have gotten several of those as well. The sushi is incredible and their delivery is prompt and reliable. They are always friendly and venture out in crazy weather when I don't want to leave home for my spicy tuna. The only reason I can only leave four stars is the Chinese entrees I've had from the menu haven't really been fantastic. The food here taste good but the waitresses were TERRIBLE. They were slow, didn't seem to know what they were doing and the older blond waitress was so rude to customers on the phone. We had to ask for everything we needed. I even had to go up to the counter and ask for things because the waitresses were too busy chatting to notice their customer's drinks are empty. And we got our appetizers after our main courses. What is that?? The place is also too quiet. The music they play is so depressing. Instead of making it an enjoyable dinner it brings your mood down and makes you sad and want to fall asleep. If they got new staff and new music it would improve the experience so much. Great little sushi and hibachi place close to our home. We go here often and enjoy the service and atmosphere. Most of the time they will give you a small desert after your meal which is nice and typically pretty good. Yum yum yum!!!!!! I ordered delivery one night when I was home sick. I love Japanese hibachi restaurants so thought I would chance it. The clear broth - soooo good. The house dressing was not the best ginger dressing I have ever had but still very good. The rice was absolutely perfect. For delivery it is hard to get rice at the perfect sticky consistency, but they did it. The filet mignon was not great. It could have used more seasoning. The shrimp was heavenly. My husband and I are "regulars" here! The food is wonderful and the owners and wait staff are exceptionally friendly! The sushi in my opinion is the best around these parts! They go over and beyond to make you happy, heck they even tried to order in my husbands favorite brand of beer but the distributor they deal with could not make it happen! Got carry out for my Hubbie and daughter because I was in the neighborhood. Packed 3 rolls on one tray, one roll and 6 slices of sashimi on the other. The sashimi was not fresh tasting and without rice. (Could be wrong but have always seen it served on a bit of white rice). They weren't very happy with the rolls either. Had two very good experiances and two that were lacking. If you get what you ordered it is spectacular. Some of the servers have too much of a language barrier to understand what you are ordering, even if you point. The sushi is absolutely amazing. The habachi is also excellent. Even if you don't get what you order you'll end up with more than you can eat. They always bring us salad and soup. A pretty little glowing orb comes on our sushi and when we are done they bring us dessert, an orange and a little cake, one time it was ice cream. I hope they can keep a stead flow of happy customers. The location is doomed, many asian cuisine places have come and gone in the same store. Go, try it. We love it. Although the name of this establishment is Sake Sushi, they also serve the BEST Chinese food in the area. Their General Tso's chicken is some of the best I've ever had. My husband had the Happy Family and it was served with an entire lobster tail! Their spring rolls were light, crispy and extremely fresh. If something isn't on the menu (dumplings for example) just ask! Their dumplings were delicious. Don't be fooled by the nondescript location behind Walgreens in Stephens City - upon entering the restaurant you will notice the lighting is a bit dim (which I love) and it adds to the ambiance of a peaceful dining experience. You are greeted and seated immediately. The service is always prompt and friendly. And again, the food is extremely fresh. I really wish Yelp would list this restaurant under Chinese Food as well as I believe it serves the best Chinese food in the Stephens City area. read more

With Sake Sushi, carryout or delivery, you receive two containers: one with the dish, the other with the side of rice or noodles selected. This is an excellent value, highly cost/effective. The restaurant is dimly lit, which produces a calmer, more intimate atmosphere. There are two hibachis in the dining room; even the chefs aren't too loud! I ordered some sushi for take out, and it was just ok sushi. They also charged me $1 simply because I asked for yum yum sauce which I thought was ridiculous. Personally I would drive an extra 15 minutes to get delicious sushi at Mr. Noodle and Rice in Winchester for the same price. I also ordered orange chicken and honey walnut chicken and it was also ok, but again I would rather go to Panda Express or Hibachi in Winchester or Front Royal for it. Having just moved from NOVA to the Winchester/Stephens City area, we had low expectations that the sushi here (in a non-descript strip mall) could be that great. But really, it was! This is by far the best restaurant in Stephens City. The owners and servers and all very nice and accommodating. A member of our family has celiac and they have been more than willing to make her requests gluten free. They have great lunch deals. Very disappointed in the food. My husband and I used to come here all the time. We loved the hibachi here but this time the food was just average. The steak was Luke warm and the chicken was rubbery. For our dinners, I chose chicken and my husband chose the chicken and salmon combo. Dinners come complete with soup, salad and dessert! Our soup and salad came out immediately (which was great because we were hungry). The soup was delicious - piping hot, and great flavor. The salad had a creamy citrus dressing - one of our favorites. The appetizers arrived just as we finished our soup and salad. My eggroll was fresh, crispy and delicious. My husband had 4 ragoons - so he shared one with me. Also, crisp and delicious - the filling was creamy and sweet. The dinners are prepared fresh to order - a sumptious mix of fresh vegetables and your choice of meat with a generous portion of fried rice.
