And their tailoring is exceptional, Yakov is a master tailor. If I were still working I wouldn't hesitate to have him make my suits and tailor my dress shirts. He's a true gem. The store is super clean and well-organized, and I really appreciated how attentive the staff were. They set me up in a dressing room, helped me find sizes and colors, and opened a second register when they noticed I was waiting on line a bit too long. Not only was I not offered this option, I was told that their policy was that they would only take the item off of the mannequin if I knew for sure I was going to buy it. I wondered how I would know if the item fit right without trying it on. They suggested I try a "similar pant" (which was a completely different cut and style) to which I declined. So I said that I would try the XS and the M on and see how they fit. Once I discovered that the small was indeed my size, my husband asked them to take the item off of the mannequin as I was sure I was going to buy it. After being met with attitude, They took the item directly to the register and asked if we were ready to check out. There were a couple of items we also wanted to try on, so we said we were not ready yet. I'm not sure what the issue was and why it was such a problem to let me try something on that I really liked. We've never had anything but good experiences there and I'm very disappointed that we were treated this way. Honestly, if I would have been by myself without the level headedness of my husband, I would have walked out in disgust. It does get extremely busy especially on weekends but you'll still be able to find a spot. All parking is completely free. When you walk into Nordstrom Rack, you'll either take the escalator or the elevator since everything is on the second floor. The store itself is huge, and they always have a lot of items on sale. I came in specifically looking for UGG shoes, but they were sold out everywhere. The associate, Aiden, was extremely helpful and kind. He went through every single aisle trying to find the exact pair I wanted, and even though they weren't in stock, I really appreciated how much effort he put in. The store has a big selection, especially when it comes to clothes. A lot of the items are designer pieces, yes, they're discounted, but most things still range from around $60 to $100, especially jeans and other clothing. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience here and would definitely come back. I like this location. It's not the biggest Nordstrom Rack I've been to, but it still has a great selection, and it works perfectly for being in Totem Lake.

Less than a month ago, I purchased three of the same work shirts. After the very first wash, one of the shirts began falling apart due to what appeared to be poor fabric quality. I returned to the store with the other two shirts, which were completely unworn and still had the original tags attached. I also brought the damaged shirt, along with its tags, hoping the store would stand behind the quality of the product. Unfortunately, the manager was rude and immediately told me she would not accept the damaged shirt because it had been worn. I politely asked to speak with the store manager, but when she came out, she was also dismissive, rude, and showed no concern for my situation or my long-standing loyalty as a customer. I understand that stores have return policies, but I believe there should also be consideration for defective merchandise and for customers who have supported the store for years. I left feeling disappointed, unheard, and undervalued. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so that future customers receive better service and defective products are handled more fairly.

My wife called them and they said "sorry" and basically said they would not stand behind the hat as the cracking is a sign of one grabbing it by the peak. 1. I never ever held the hat by the peak. Really! Always holding it by the brim as instructed. 2. Since when would this defect appear in a mere few weeks of owning the hat? 3. Why would they not warranty the hat? If I bought a hat from Amazon, I could return then item no questions asked. I do not recommend their products. If you buy or receive a defective product, they will not stand behind it. He adjusted the shoulders, chest, sleeves, lapels, which required him to move every single button. It was literally a completely different suit. And for the first time, it actually fit the way it should. Since then, I've gone back for five custom suits, multiple shirts, and my favorite, an overcoat (which I'd avoided for years because of off-the-rack fit issues). Every item has come out perfectly tailored. If fit has always been a compromise for you, it's worth seeing what Gabriel can do. Adding some photos, but I'm not a fashion/textiles photographer. My posture is very upright and that just makes the chest issue even more difficult. There aren't many places in the US outside of New York that do real bespoke -- patterns cut from scratch. I'm glad I found Gabriel. He has a great understanding of classic men's style and proportions. The suit he made for me is very comfortable and continues to get better as the canvas takes the shape of my body. I keep looking for areas to make micro improvements for my next project with him. But to be honest, the fit is so good I'm not sure there's much to change other than experimenting with other styles, like a double breasted. I plan on commissioning something from him every year as long as I stay in Washington. The super tight, short jacket with the bum exposed, with skinny lapels was trending for a while on off the rack clothing. Even some made to measure places make suits like this. If you are looking for a suit to wear for the next 10 years, I encourage you to give Gabriel a try and have him make something timeless for you.
