I learned about this restaurant through too good to go and sampled their biriyani rice. It had perfect heat and flavor! The chicken curry and fried fish were also really tasty. Great Indian in the home wood area!

A good Indian restaurant walking distance from our airbnb! The portion for the chole batura was MASSIVE. The spicy shrimp dish my husband got was decently spicy. Service is fast and the ambiance is casual but nice.

Came here for the buffet after doctors appointment, medium selection of chicken. The red chili chicken was the best. The service was pretty cool because I really didn't talk to anybody and I just went directly to the food so that was fine. They were kind and did greet me as I walked in. The ambience was chill and quiet. Will return for sure

A nice offering from the buffet table. Saag was perfect.

Surprising place. Small footprint but comfortable. Nice buffet offering and very flavorful. Fresh naan and nifty water bottle brought to the table. A hidden gem in Baltimore that I would happily return to.

I can't comment on what their dine-in service is like but the food was delicious. For delivery, I ordered the butter chicken, chicken korma, and the rogan josh (lamb curry). And you can't forget the naan. What is curry if its not with its main chick naan? butter chicken - chicken thigh in a fenugreek sauce was good. Its a safe bet when it comes to Indian curry. chicken korma - chicken in a saffron cashew sauce. The sauce was creamy and smooth but the chicken was on the drier side. rogan josh - lamb in a tomato based sauce with yogurt and saffron. This was my favorite. The lamb's distinct flavor paired well with the sweet tomato curry. Each dish came with a tray of rice. Yes a tray so you do get a decent amount. The garlic naan was disappointment. I was hoping for the usual soft, chewy texture but instead it was dry and tough to chew.

    Mango Lassi!

I'm obsessed with this place! Some of the best mango lassi that I've found thus far in the Baltimore area. Their buffet, while better (and slightly more expensive) on weekends, is fantastic value at ~$16/person. They offer unlimited mango lassi as part of their buffet, and also had gulab jamun, plain rice, chicken tikka masala, saag paneer, goat curry, aloo pakora, plain naan, and much more! A personal favorite that I tried during the buffet was the Sakoon chicken kabob, which I will definitely come back to try again. Their regular dining is also very yummy--I am a huge fan of the garlic naan and vegetable samosa chaat (which is technically an appetizer, but I often get it as a midday snack or meal). They offer almost all their food at spice levels 1-5--5 gets really spicy, but it's a great kick! Definitely would recommend this place to anyone looking for fresh, yummy local Indian food!

This is my favorite restaurant in the Baltimore area. The first time I went, I was still full but went so I could hang out with my best friend and we had the vegetable soup, cheese naan, garlic naan, chow mein, paneer masala and the mango lassi. I knew this restaurant was a winner after chowing down on a full stomach! Also, the mango lassi is such a winner, just the right amount of mango goodness, sweetness and viscosity. The vegetable soup I went back for two days later because I couldn't stop thinking of how lemony sour it was. Today, I went with my friends after volunteering and the food continues to blow my mind and be amazing. My friends all agree they love this place too and will be back for more. Give this place a try!

There is buffet everyday! Great place for lunch for JHU students. Many dishes can try with no more than $14 (JHU students can get discount). Every costumer can get free naan. Chicken Tandoori and Palak Paneer are my favorite. The only problem is that the food is not enough sometimes. You may need to wait for the chef to replenish certain dishes.

Fast and easy buffet. Right amount of spice. Great choice options. Serve yourself. Plastic table coverings. Furniture is worn.

Most of the buffet is self serve, but there are a couple of stations for food cooked on a grill or prepared to order. Lots of interesting soda flavors and different milks. Plates are removed promptly and the cooks are friendly. Loads of tables here so there was very little wait to be directed to the seating area. Decent quality food for a buffet overall. We also visited the store in the basement to walk off the food, which was quite expansive, and visited the grocery next door. Fun to see the Amish park their horses and buggies in designated parking spots.

Those were definitely the standouts. On the downside, I was surprised by how small the self-service soft drink cups were--I felt like I needed a refill after just a few sips. I also found several dishes to be dry and bland, including the brisket, ham, and mixed vegetables. The restaurant itself is enormous, which allows for an incredible selection of food. However, because of its size and popularity, the atmosphere felt a bit cramped and chaotic at times. It reminded me of navigating a busy cruise ship buffet--lots of people, lots of movement, and not the most relaxing dining experience. Overall, it was a nice experience to have once, but it wasn't memorable enough to make me want to come back. After all, you go to a buffet for quantity, not quality.

A very good friend recommended this restaurant to us and we were excited to try it. I love seafood!…read more We were warmly greeted and sat immediately due to our reservation. Our server was knowledgeable and professional. She welcomed us, explained the menu and quickly brought brought water and lemons for the water. She was fantastic throughout the meal and made our experience wonderful. We ordered French onion soup and a "special" of fried green tomatoes for our appetizers. Complimentary, fresh, warm, honey-wheat bread with both regular and cinnamon sugar butters, was brought to the table. The bread had a very nice texture. The French onion soup was very delicious and not too sweet! It was perfectly balanced. The fried green tomatoes were fresh and the breading was perfectly crispy. However the "seasoning" was in the mildly spicy remoulade, which was served on the side. We also ordered a broiled seafood platter with sides of broccoli and twice baked potato. The hubs ordered char-grilled pork chops, grilled asparagus, and potato au gratin. Everything was perfectly cooked and tasty. We really enjoyed everything. Regarding ambiance, the dining room looks a bit formal with its white table cloth and dim lighting. However, everyone dressed casually - jeans, shorts, etc. This made for a very relaxed atmosphere. But..... Ultimately, and in spite of all the good, I will deduct one star simply because I believe the entire menu is overpriced.

I had been here several years back with my sister but finally made it in again with my husband…read more Now that we live nearby hopefully we will come more often. You have a choice between AYCE or by the pound. I know last time I came I got AYCE but honestly I don't eat that much anymore, so by the pound is more cost effective for me. There also are two different prices based on whether you want BBQ + sushi with your buffet. (Sushi??? I'll stick to BBQ when going Brazilian.) I tried to sample small amounts of the dishes on the buffet and then got some picanha and another steak cut (maminha). Both BBQ cuts were very good - I liked the maminha more. (Fraldihna is my usual favorite, and it's kind of similar to the maminha.). They had a chicken with capers that was probably my favorite of the buffet dishes. The stroghanoff wasn't bad. Some of the other meat dishes on the buffet were a bit dry. I got a mystery empanada which turned out to be guava & cheese, if it had been warmed it would have been better. I love guava, but there was just a little small rectangle of guava paste in the very center; probably 80% of the empanada had no filling. Similarly, the cheese bread balls were cold and hard. Those need to be right out of the oven to be worth it. It's a shame, they probably were good when they were first made but they weren't by the time I got to them. The potato salad was ok but the balance of mayo to potato & other veg was off (too much mayo). I had some fresh fruit too. All in all, I'd definitely come back (I love the steak!) but I'd focus on the things I know are good rather than trying a lot of things.

We ordered pizza, and when it arrived it was cold. After the food was delivered, we again had difficulty getting anyone's attention to ask for water and later the check. There are other places to enjoy Brazilian food where customers receive much better attention and better food.
