I've eaten here multiple times and enjoyed it every time! We tried the samosas, veggie and chicken momos, plus various curries. They make sure to ask how spicy you want it as well. Big portion sizes. This restaurant has really great food. They have a large menu and many choices and the spice heat can be varied and modified to your liking. My friend started off with the glass of wine and we got both some dumplings and garlic naan to start with. She got the hot chicken curry dish. I wanted to try something new so I got the tandoori sampler platter and it was really good. The garlic naan was some of the best naan that I have ever had and my tandoori platter was also delicious. I opted to have the rice pudding to finish off my meal and it was so good with the added cardamon on top. I was surprised this restaurant was so empty on a Friday evening at dinner time. I will most definitely be back and highly recommend a visit to this wonderful Indian restaurant. I had made a reservation, but it doesn't seem like I actually needed one. read more

The prices were so affordable, and you get the option of choosing two sauces/stews with chicken, vegetarian, and lamb options. I chose the paneer masala and the chicken korma. Came to this restaurant for the first time today and already can't wait to come back! The food was so delicious, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. I am never one to take leftovers but I definitely took what I couldn't finish home. We tried the butter chicken, chili tofu, garlic naan (it was so crispy delicious!) and mango lassi! My husband and I grabbed take out from here - convenient location on Cold Spring Ave but parking is limited. We ordered 2 orders of the chicken tikka masala and it was $50. For this price I was disappointed because this was good, but not great. The sauce was very watery and could have been more flavorful. Like I said, for this price point my standards are higher, but this taste matches some much more inexpensive Indian take out we've had in Baltimore. Everything did taste very fresh though! Namaste is our closest Indian restaurant and has a lot going for it. First, they deliver with a minimal $1 fee. Second, they are open pretty much all the time. And, finally, the food is reliably very good. Not knock your socks off best Indian food you've ever had, but very good. You can eat in the restaurant, but while the staff are very nice, the service is quite slow. Takeout is great and it travels well. We did takeout again and really enjoyed it. We had the chicken tikka masala, as we always do, which is reliably delicious. The sauce is savory and well balanced and the chicken is all white meat, tender, and just the right size. You can get 4 levels of spice, from mild to very hot. Mild for sure for the kids and any sensitive adults. Medium is all the spice most people will need. My father in law, who loves extreme spice, gets hot. I cannot imagine the mouth capable of enjoying very hot. Pro-tip, ask for an extra container of tikka masala sauce so that when you run out (because you won't be able to stop scooping it up with your naan) you can refill. The samosas are very good as are the shrimp pakoras for appetizers. They come with chutneys as per usual. You can get a separate mango chutney for $1.50. We also had the vegetable korma, malai kofta, and lamb biryani. And of course lots of garlic naan. All was delicious. The malai kofta are like meatballs but made with veggies and cheese in a delicious cashew cream sauce. The korma is basically the same sauce but with mixed veggies. All come with rice and you'll have more than you can possibly eat. It's very good food and absolutely reasonably priced, especially given that the portions are bigger than many other Indian restaurants. The chicken tikka masala, for example, is $15.99 and easily feeds two adults if you also have naan and rice. We will continue to order from Namaste and recommend you do the same. read more

The food was high quality and service was very good. The spices were milder than we are used to in our previous town. My wife is spice intolerant and even the mild here was too mild. We had lunch at Namaste a few weeks ago when my mother in law was visiting. The restaurant is really comfortable and nice, and the service was great. We really enjoyed the chicken momos, chilli tofu, fish tikka, and the Kashmiri naan. We didn't love the mango sabzi, which just had a strange flavor for me. But overall, the food was good, and I really enjoyed the experience (great service and super charming inside). I'll happily return and try more food from their very large menu! read more

We ordered the shrimp tikka and chicken tikka masala. Everything was very flavorful. The only thing that I didn't like was that the shrimp tails had shells still on them and the naan was very hard to the point where it was breaking apart.
