Saks Off Fifth is a great store in Corbin's Corner that sells some designer goods and other mid range items. They have a nice selection of men's, women's and children's clothing. As well as accessories like jewelry, sunglasses and purses. There's also a small selection of home items in this store. I like to check what's new here occasionally. In the past I've purchased some nice purses, sunglasses and shoes. Occasionally they'll have an additional 20% off of their red tag items, for me that's the best time to get a great deal on something I've been eyeing. Otherwise, I think most items are overpriced here, designer or not. I like going into this store anyway, it has a nice layout, friendly staff, and easy returns if necessary. I stopped by this afternoon 6/7/25 came across a kid coat that was in clearance section, it was jo price, I was looking for someone to assist, after forever, walked to the register and informed the cashier that I needed assistance, There was a Russian/ Polish lady with a walkie talkie, possibly a manager who grabbed the coat from me and stated she would be back... almost after 20 mins of awaiting, nothing, I walked to the front and stated to the caahier that I was waiting for a price on the item, She apologized I stated to her that tgat lady was unprofessional and rude how u have a customer waiting and then hpon me finding her she was holding a conversation with another customer talking about personal issues, Seriously, I left all that I had in my carriage and stated that I would go elsewhere where the cus service is not rude. read more

I have no idea why I waited for years to come here, because now I LOVE it!!! Probably because the one at the outlets seems pricey AND like some things have been there for years and need to be dusted off. This place is clean, not nearly as cluttered, and the service has been great since I've been there at least 5 times in the last few months. I thought I was a Nordstrom Rack girl, but things are changing. I love living close enough to both so that I can shop, or order online, then just head on in to return anything that doesn't work for me once I try it on in the comfort of my own home. It's a piece of cake to return things, I've never had issues and when I found a dress I wanted in another size, the sweet woman at the register pulled out an iPad and found that the size I was looking for was available online. I bought a pair of shoes (plastic flip flop-like summer shoes) this week and was ready to pay my $14.99 and they rang up for just under $5!!! Score! She's like oh yeah we are in the process of marking them down! So glad I grabbed them, with my Calvin Klein dress that day! Like any store, you may have to look through some racks to find some great deals, but they're there! I also found some jeans I love that are consistently about $40 at Nordstrom Rack, and they were $30 here. They didn't have my size, so I went home and ordered them and they should be here any day now. Score! read more

I am in love. Just take all my money now because I'm basically just going to move in here. I regret I didn't buy the super sparkly dress I found, but I'm sure there will be more. The shoe selection was a little sparse, but I probably stopped in right before they were restocked. read more

Saks OFF 5th is certainly a great addition to Corbins Corner, bringing in some competition for Nordstrom Rack. There's plenty of parking in the lot, and it's an easy location right off of the highway and across from the mall. Upon walking in, I was happy to see clean and organized racks and a very open layout. The mens department was very small, but given that they just opened, they will hopefully add more inventory soon. While I was disappointed in the slightly limited clothing selection for women as well, the shoes: oh my. Racks upon racks of Jimmy Choo, Burberry, Prada, Gucci, ect. This location has a much larger selection of high-end designers than the location in Clinton (and it's a closer drive for me!). The jewelry and accessory department was great - with gold fine jewelry at an additional 60% off, and so many sunglasses! There was a large selection of Kate Spade accessories near the checkout line, and even some fun summer pool floats (flamingos & swans!) I found some prices to be a bit steeper than other discount stores. Take a Calvin Klein dress for instance that sells for $39.99 at TJMaxx, and it's $69.99 here. But, prices on bags such as Marc Jacobs seemed comparable or even less than Nordstrom Rack. It'll definitely be a hit-or-miss store, but that's part of the fun part on the hunt for a bargain! One of the best deals I saw was a $1,494 Carolina Herrera dress for $189.97 (Over 90% off!). It's defiately worth a visit, and I'll be stopping in again whenever I'm in the are. read more

While it's a welcome addition to the new Corbin Collection, I think I'm still a Nordstrom Rack kinda gal. I can appreciate the fact that Saks offers higher end designers, and with that comes a higher price point. Still - many of the lower end accessories, decor/houseware (candles, etc) and jewelry seemed outrageously priced for the mediocre quality. Selection is decent and location is excellent -- can't be mad at a store that's a stone's throw from Shake Shack. read more

I purchased a Gucci men's watch on February 8 completed transaction etc. Only to receive an email 2 days later telling me my order has been cancelled do to lack of inventory.How this possible in this day and age? Very unprofessional and I'm extremely disappointed. I doubt that I will ever shop with them again. read more

I really wanted to like this store better than I did. It's clean and organized which is appreciated but the discounts aren't great. You can see the original price and the mark down and on a lot of items it was next to nothing! There wasn't a great selection of non clothing items like candles, perfumes, soaps, etc. and the clothing collection isn't huge... I did appreciate that they marked which racks were under $50 and which racks have additional discounts. I didn't browse shoes or purses so I can't speak to that but overall I was under whelmed. Nordstrom rack is more my speed. read more

I was happy to hear the first store of Corbin Collection just opened! Though it has been ten years since I went to a Saks Off 5th, I was hoping it would be better than the Clinton Crossing one. I was hoping there would be improvements. Perhaps it is my taste, but nothing really grabbed my attention. I guessed that was a good thing because I did not overspend...lol! As for the prices, like any discounted retailer, it was hit or miss. For instance, Michael Kors shoes were reasonably discounted whereas the discount on Calvin Klein dresses mediocre. I found better discounts on Calvin Klein dresses at the nearby newly-opened Burlington Coat Factory. I was impressed by their Tom Ford sunglasses collection. Definitely stop here before going to Nordstroms at Westfarms Mall if you want to drop major money on sunglasses. There were some items from Karl Lagerfeld, which are hard to find in this area. The only items I purchased were argan oil shampoo and conditioner, which were items I needed because I ran out of hair products at home. My purchase came to $18 and change. Last time I checked, Saks OFF 5th participates in Ebates' in-store cash back! I'm sure their products were vary from time to time, so I will stop in from time to time. I do prefer Nordstrom Rack over Saks Off 5th. Still better than an empty Sears! : ) I can't wait for the star of Corbin Collection, SHAKE SHACK! read more

I'm so excited Saks off Fifth opened! It was much needed in the lackluster Westfarms area. The pros: the shoe section is incredible! Racks of Gucci, Prada, Valentino, Louboutin, Jimmy Choo, Balenciaga, And any other designer you may think of. Some of the shoe prices were meh but some were great! I was able to get black leather Celine espadrilles for $235. The lay out is great; it's very open and easy to shop. The racks are organized by brand and there's not much digging to be done. There seems to be enough employees around to help. The brands they carry are nice and there's something for everyone. The handbag section is pretty good too! I'd say shoes and bags are definitely better than Nordstrom Rack. The cons: no loungewear, undies (hello hanky panky deals) or hosiery. The beauty section is teeny tiny (better at Nordstrom Rack). As mentioned in the reviews above the clothing deals could be hit or miss. For example a Rag and Bone Oasis tank was $35 at Marshalls while it was $50 here. read more

I went to Saks off fifth last week on my break. That was my second time going there. I walked in and was greeted by cashier. I walked around the store for quite some time and realized the store was clean and bigger than the store in Clinton Crossings. The cashier Yolanda was amazing. She helped me pick some shoes and she was also the person who rang me out. Her attitude was so vibrant. I loved her glasses and her head-wrap. She asked me if I wanted to open a Saks card but I told her maybe next time. She was beyond helpful. I told her I was going to NYC for a fashion show with my sister and the shoes that she picked out for me she also had for herself. I'll definitely be shopping there more often because they have a great selection. read more

I was so excited when I found out about Saks OFF 5TH coming to West Hartford. Since the store opened I have been there about five times. I go to Saks to get my Joe jeans (best jeans ever). I never pay more than 90$ for Joe's. I always find them on sale that's why I usually go to Saks. Unfortunately, yesterday I went and had the worst experience with the "manager" (Lilly;red hair). I went in to buy a pair of Joes and found one size 27 and it did not have price tag. The manager advised me to give her a couple min while she searches. I don't see her checking inventory I see her online checking a iPad. Ten min go by and I approach the manager and asked her if she found the price. She tells me no but goes on to say that the jeans are 179.00 with the 30%. I explained to her All the times I shopped at Saks never are the Joes 179.00. They are usually 119.00 or 129.00 with the 30%. She goes on to tell me that they are always 179.00 so that's the price she is going with. One of the cashier jump in and offers to check inventory. Sure enough she comes back with the same Joes but different sized priced at 119.00 plus the 30%. Like I said my jeans came out to be 83.00. The manager never apologized for the half hour waiting around or for the made up price she tried to give me. I then proceed to walk out the store and I say thank you for all your help. The "Manager" did not say anything to me did not even look at me. This was a terrible customer service and I will go back to shopping online! read more
