One in our party had been here before and recommended we stop here. This is a restaurant serving both Mexican and Japanese food, though I wouldn't call it fusion. Both are fairly Americanized Mexican and Japanese dishes (think chicken and cheese on rice, and hibachi with all manner of meats and "yum yum" sauce), but it's a large menu and it had something for everyone, so it was a good fit for our quite large group. We arrived not long after opening and so they were able to seat us without any trouble -- I believe there were 11 of us total. The restaurant is large and was somewhat dimly lit but inviting enough. The bathroom was tidy despite being a little stinky. There's a large bar toward the back and it looked like there was space for dancing or musical acts. Service was efficient and friendly and patient with several party members' special requests. They also handled our many separate checks with skill. Chips and salsa came right out.
