    BBQ beef Hawaiian platter.

I've been here twice now and each time the food was great. It's a little place in a strip mall. Nothing fancy to look at but the food is delicious. An Asian Hawaiian fusion with fresh grilled meats and seafood. We got the Hawaiian BBQ platters each time. Grilled meats on a bed of shredded cabbage, a side of plain or fried rice, macaroni salad, broccoli and some BBQ sauce. It's obviously popular take out because it had a non-stop line of pickup orders and carry out. Plus the owner is super friendly.

Hawaiian BBQ with 2 meats - short ribs and grilled shrimp

I cannot rave about this place enough. My favorite is the Hawaiian BBQ - I usually get 2 meats like short ribs and grilled shrimp. It comes with a side of white or fried rice, macaroni salad and always topped with a pretty orchid! The owner is kind and always greets the guests warmly. Parking is plentiful and there's a good amount of seating in the dining area, though they do a brisk takeout. They also have a broad selection of other Asian dishes like sushi, hibachi, teriyaki.

Located in reynoldsburg near the I-270 entrance and can be easy to miss if you never venture into the strip mall. This is a more of a self service restaurant where you pick up your food at the counter and also station for you to dispose your utensils and plates. They sell alot of food options like ramen and sushi but I opt for the hawaii bbq as it sounds interesting. The pick any 2/3 meat option is a nice way to try a variety at once and thats what I got- bbq chicken, short rib and grilled shrimp. The meat is tender and flavorful. I would love more vegetables thou and it came with macaroni salad which could be the hawaii part and steam rice.

Amazing! Delicious! I love it. Thank you to my mom's new "friend". We ordered on Uber eats and it got here right on time so excellent service. The price isn't too bad and I thought the presentation was just so good. I don't know if it was cause it was a gift or what but they put a flower in our box and it was so cute! Only thing is they only sent one set of chopsticks!! Hmmm oh well. Thank you, we'll be back!

This place hits!!!!! The gentleman working the front desk was super nice and was only overshadowed by how fire this food is. Go here or you are just lying to yourself.

Affordable prices for the amount of food they give you! I got the BBQ Chicken plate and it came with three thighs, rice, & macaroni. I was only able to eat 1/3 of my plate and had to take the rest home! My husband had the BBQ Beef and it was loaded with sweet onions so be cautious of that if you don't like onions. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side but they do have a few tables. We were given menus and when you're ready, you go to the counter to place your order. Food came out relatively quick. 4.5/5

For a little place the food was artistic and amazingly tasty. Presentation on the sushi alone was 11/10. Priced very fairly we had a great dinner!

I was told to try this by someone who grew up in Hawaii, she said it was pretty authentic! I had a positive experience here. We ordered at the counter and ate in, although it's clear they fulfill a lot of online orders. The space was very clean and organized. Lots to choose from on the menu. My husband ordered General Tsos, and I got the Hawaiian BBQ plate. We also ordered the gyoza. We enjoyed our food and would get it again.

Their hibachi is top tier!! I haven't dined in but the food is always fresh and consistent! Would 10/10 recommend.

Hawaii BBQ plate: short ribs and bbq chicken

I've been looking for Hawaiian BBQ for the past 12 years and it seems that it's finally taking off in Columbus. Sakura is right down the road from our house, and I was very excited to see the grand opening signage! We finally got around to trying it out. We called in our order and it was ready in about 25 minutes. We ordered two Hawaii BBQ mix plates: short ribs & bbq chicken and short ribs & chicken katsu. The short ribs were meaty and had a pretty good flavor. It wasn't exactly what the locals do in Hawaii (missing a few ingredients) but it definitely sufficed. The meat was soft and not too fatty. The bbq chicken was just ok. It wasn't bad, but it needed more flavor and more of a char/grilled flavor to it. The katsu was really good! The breading was perfect. The only two "cons" are: it tasted like it was fried in the same oil as shrimp and there was no katsu sauce. It came with sweet chili sauce which is not a good combination. I would highly suggest looking into creating a katsu sauce. It's fairly inexpensive and easy to make! Each bbq mix plate came with two scoops of rice, two pieces of broccoli, and a scoop of Mac salad. It was a lot of food and the pricing wasn't too bad. We also ordered an appetizer of chicken katsu for my son and it was a lot of food! The service as pretty quick from the time I called to when I picked up. Maybe only a few minutes longer than I was told but the food was hot, so I didn't mind. If you decide to dine in, the space isn't large - maybe 10-12 people could sit on the 4tops. It's fairly plain in the decor but that doesn't bother me. They have a small assortment of bottled drinks to buy as well.

Sakura is a small restaurant in a shopping plaza that seems to be mostly busy with carry out but does have about 6 tables to dine in. You order at the counter but they have menus you can read while you are seated. Service was friendly and quick. All of our food was well seasoned, cooked well and arrived fresh and hot with huge portions and surprisingly lovely presentation. We had the Hawaiian BBQ short ribs, Tonkotsu Ramen, Hawaiian shrimp fried rice and chicken egg rolls. All were excellent and we have plenty of leftovers for a second meal. We'll definitely be back.

Food was amazing. It is a little Mom & Pop place. I highly recommend it. The ramen is so good and I got two meals out of it.

I highly recommend this place. I will definitely be going back. The spice was perfect, the broth was very flavorful. The service was amazing. Hope you enjoy it.

The food was great! We ordered takeout and I appreciate the packaging. It's better than the usual takeout. Flavor-wise everything tasted great! The house fried rice was loaded with meats and pineapple 5/5, grilled shrimp was juicy and flavorful 5/5, short rib was good like most short ribs 5/5, chicken bbq was okay 4/5. The side macaroni was great too 4/5 but I wish it indicated that meals always come with the side macaroni as ordering it separately was $4.5. No biggie, our experience was still pretty good.

So I was a little taken back you got a little bit of everything in this location is really small. And the parking is terrible but what can you expect for downtown? I had to take my ticket inside and if you purchased something from one of the vendors, they have to give you a QR code for the parking garage and it's two dollars for parking. We had Indian food and the food was delicious. The young lady behind the counter was so nice. She let us taste the chicken before purchasing our meals. The food in the North market is expensive. It was almost $40 for two people to eat. Then we had Jennie's ice cream afterwards and it was $15 for two scoops of ice cream. Customer service was great as all the vendors were awesome and explained everything to us. Is this something that I would do again know just because of the parking and most of the restaurants inside of Markette is not something that I would normally eat very clean. There is a second floor for you to sit. I don't know if they had an elevator. I didn't see one, but I know there are stairs to the second floor. Very busy long lines and you feel like you have to rush to order something because all lines were so long.

I'm glad I read previous reviews because they definitely deliver on the heat they promise. The only downside was that the pork wasn't as tender as the chashu I'm used to in ramen. That said, the rest of the ingredients and the noodles were well-prepared, with great flavor and texture. I would definitely order Fukuryu ramen again.

Quick and attentive service. We started with crispy dumplings (6), crispy egg rolls (2), and a scallion pancake. Bing, their crepe, wasn't available our night. My dining companions loved the pancake - for me perhaps a bit too much drizzled sauce. It was helpfully quartered when brought to the table so sharing was easy. The dumplings were indeed crispy and probably my favorite with a standard dark dipping sauce. The egg rolls were standard and perhaps a bit undersized and over fried, but a good creamy dipping sauce was a pivot away from the sweet chili sauce that usually accompanies such apps. Ramen is clearly the focus of the menu and three of us had ramen with chicken and one with pork. They spoke favorably of the broth and the combos of mushrooms, boiled egg, greens. I had the rice vermicelli with chicken that they called a salad. I was expecting the classic Vietnamese staple but this one had some adaptations, perhaps to a fusion or one might say less ethnic nod. Small things but the ample portion served in a small bowl made it hard to mix the rice noodles, lettuce, carrot, cucumber and chicken that is a common approach to the dish after drowning all the ingredients in both sweet sauce (nuoc cham), siracha and/or hoisin sauce. It only came with the nuoc cham. They brought Siracha when I asked for it, but I'm a fan of having these condiments on the table standard. Again, had the sense that the business lunch crowd that is probably the primary audience isn't likely to be as focused on the more authentic ingredients. The chicken was also not grilled and sliced but had a pleasant preparation. Just know it won't be the charred flavor that is so common. Finally, not to obsess on this one dish, but cutting the lettuce leaves more would enable easier chop sticks combos of the ingredients in single bites. Overall it worked for us. I am definitely the most focused on (my companions would say obsessed) on connection to what these dishes should be. If adaptations work well for you, Tiger+Lily likely will as well.
