Stopped in to grab a quick roll for an afternoon snack and was very happy. Was greeted by a very nice individual who promptly took my order. Since I was just getting a snack, I ordered a tuna roll. I was very happy with how quickly and efficiently the tuna roll was prepared. The tuna roll was very good and the tuna was of exceptional quality. Had a nice large dining area with plenty of seating for a small group or a large group. The dining area appeared to be very clean. They also had a very nice bar with a very good selection of liquor. If you are in the crossroads area and looking for a sushi restaurant, I suggest giving them a try.

Was craving sushi so grabbed some last minute at Sushiko and was pleasantly surprised by how fresh it was! I really enjoyed the salmon sashimi --if you're a salmon lover like me, definitely try it! The eel and yellowtail sashimis were also good but the salmon definitely stole the show. The pepper encrusted tuna was also an interesting pic if you're into spice. For rolls they have so many to choose from! You can get rolls with fresh fish or cooked items like the Cherry blossom roll (covered with strings of imitation crab), or crunchy deep fried rolls like the Buckeye or Ninja rolls. The specialty rolls were packed with ingredients and large in size so they were pretty filling. The server was so sweet and very attentive. She made sure we had everything we needed. As for seating, they have lots of indoor tables with seats at the sushi bar as well if you wanted to see them making the rolls. I definitely will be back to try more of their sashimi and rolls!

No complaints here! Everything was perfect. The space is intimate and offers more seating than one might expect from the outside. The staff are all very friendly and efficient. They do a great job making sure you have everything you need. I ordered the sake flight and it's so delightful. I loved each one but I think the Honjozo was my favorite. I ordered the sushi deluxe - it was the perfect amount of food for one person. I was able to trade out the California roll for a spicy tuna roll and it was really good. The prices are fair and the portions are on point. I highly recommend this lovely little sushi spot!

I live in another state, and whenever I come to Columbus, I visit this place since it's close to my hotel and helps me feel balanced with a good meal. The service is kind and leaves a good impression. However, I gave it three stars because, while the food is good, it doesn't quite fit into the category of authentic Japanese sushi or cuisine. For example, some dishes didn't match what I expected based on the menu names, making it feel more like fusion Japanese rather than traditional Japanese food. That being said, I really appreciate having a place in this area where I can enjoy sushi and Japanese cuisine. I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Columbus.

Sushiko doesn't look like much on the outside but their food is very high quality. Service was prompt and our server went above and beyond to make sure we got what we wanted and understood the menu. I had the miso soup which was served hot. I definitely recommend due to the price point and how much you get for the price! In addition, the tuna and avocado hand roll was fantastic - priced below $6 and was very filling. The table shared a big bowl of edamame and hot sake! The server was able to recommend which sake would be best for us to try. Family friendly, clean restaurants and high quality sushi! I will definitely be back!

Phenomenal sushi! Fish was very fresh, salmon and maguro melt in your mouth. I had chirashi, my husband had a dragon roll, a spicy tuna roll, and a couple of pieces of sashimi. Sashimi was sliced very thick, and looked incredible. He also said the rolls were exceptional, the tempura shrimp inside the dragon roll was some of the biggest I've seen and you could tell they were freshly made. My chirashi was excellent as well, all fish tasted fresh and were flavorful. Service was attentive without being overbearing. Overall a great meal on a cold evening! Will definitely be back.

Great sushi spot! A friend and I were in the mood for sushi and after heading to another restaurant only to find it closed, we pulled up Yelp and found Sushi Ko. We arrived around 7PM on a random Tuesday and the dining room was full and to-go orders were going out left and right. We immediately knew we made the right decision. After an empty table was cleared, we were seated and water was brought to the table. We got to sit directly in front of the sushi bar, which is always fun to watch. The fellas back there were working nonstop, busting out sushi rolls of all kinds. We ordered miso soup, a salad and several rolls. The first one was the Sweet Lover roll which was wrapped in foil and then set on FIRE! It was really cool to watch and tasted pretty good too. We also ordered a White Dragon and the others I can't remember. They were all dynamite though. The service was very friendly and the food came out rather quickly, even with how busy they were. I wouldn't hesitate to come back and I definitely recommend stopping in to fill your sushi craving.

I've seen this place so many times going to Lotus Grill, and never actually tried it until today. Glad I finally did. I ordered two rolls - Christmas and Super Crunchy. Both were delicious and huge. The miso soup was delicious as well. This place is casual with excellent service. I will definitely be back because Sushiko is muy rico.

The smallest "special roll" I have ever had in my life. Never again.
    Darrin S.

This is the smallest "special roll" I have ever had. Baby pieces of fish; avocado on 2 pieces of the roll. Who does that? The pic is the other 4 pieces of the roll. A $16 specialty roll is 3 times the size of this in the New Orleans.

    Premium Crab Rangoon
    Kelly L.

What a terrific find this was! The Miso Soup was HOT in the best way imaginable. The Crab Rangoon was some of the best we've ever had, perfectly crunchy yet soft enough to not fall apart when you bite into it. Our favorite rolls were the traditional New York, Ruby Roll (specialty) and the Cherry Blossom (specialty). Service was great. The space is dated and could use a facelift but by no means did it take away from the experience.

    Sushi lunch special

This is our favorite sushi restaurant and today's lunch reaffirmed that. We both had sushi lunch specials, which are a good value and tasted very fresh. Sarah, our server, was exceptional--best server I've had anywhere.

A decent sushi restaurant for Columbus, but nothing to rave about. Their sashimi and sushi were average. Can't go wrong with the crab salad. The spicy scallop roll tasted okay, but difficult to eat. I had a hard time finding anything special about the menu at this restaurant and the sushi chef got my order wrong unfortunately.

The sushi itself was good and fresh, but the presentations were basic and the portion sizes were small. The service itself was okay, but the experience felt rushed. This place isn't cheap but it is the best and worth every penny if you value HIGH quality, craftsmanship and true love of what you do comes through in every piece of fish they serve. The food looks outstanding and is absolutely delicious. The way they pair each piece with its own twist and siting at the chefs table allowed for explanation of were the fish was sourced, what part of the ocean and or deep sea including details about why they selected it. The experience at the chefs table made it fun, very educational. The restaurant is dark with low light areas. The wait staff is top notch, they know how to roll out the red carpet. This isn't just food it's art.... And they take pride in their dishes and presentation.

And who doesn't believe a cocktail will help burn the germs out of you? I know I do! The place was relatively quiet (it was like 8pm on a Sunday) so I was able to get seated immediately and my server was active and friendly all evening. After looking at the menu proudly showcasing all the Japanese spirits, I found the cocktail menu disappointingly Caribbean/tiki heavy (which I don't ordinarily mind being a rum drinker, but some drinks to match the cuisine or at least use those Japanese whiskeys and things more would have been amazing!). I opted for a New Fashioned cocktail to try and sample some of said spirit. While not bad, I found it pretty orange-y (who puts all those orange chunks into such a beverage?) and the spirit to be pretty mild in flavor (I'd like to think my taste buds weren't affected by my sickness). For dinner, I went for the miso ramen with pork chashu. Having not had proper ramen too many times in my life (those $.99 packets from the grocery store do NOT count), I've got relatively little to compare my experience to here. However, I will resoundingly say I was very happy with the food. The pork could be picked up and apart with chop sticks easily enough and was melt-in-your-mouth amazing. The noodles and the flavors were just all sooooo good. I'm not a big mushroom fan at all, but I was happy to find they were cut razor thin and actually highly enjoyable. All in all, the drink menu needs an overhaul. Why have all those great Japanese spirits and then do a 180 with the cocktail menu? Makes no sense! Almost makes me want to bump down to 4 stars... but man, the food is just too good.

We got a couple appetizers to try and a couple ramen dishes to try. The Karaage was okay, the breading wasn't special and the flavor of the nuggets and sauce were a bit underwhelming. The gyoza was disappointing and lacked flavor. The TanTan Mazemen was good but it could have used some extra toppings to help the dish, such as corn, mushrooms, or something to balance the savory flavor. The sauce was pretty good but the ratio to ramen noodles was way too much sauce. We asked for an extra bowl of plain noodles but got a bowl of noodles and sauce. The Spicy Miso was pretty good and flavorful, it had decent toppings and spice. It was a solid basic miso broth and pretty good. Overall, the food was good but there was something missing from each dish and it was a bit pricey for the individual dishes. Staff was nice but seemed somewhat rushed when we were trying to order and throughout our meal. Overall, they were very attentive and would clean off our table every time they stopped by. We felt like we had to finish our dish because they wanted to grab the empty dish. Overall, it was a decent experience. I was a bit disappointed in the food but would try other dishes if I'm in the area. Staff was nice and service was good!

So I'm going to hold your hand when I say this THERE ARE OTHER PLACES THAT ARE WORTH THE PRICE!…read more I don't like leaving bad reviews but this place takes the cake baby! First let's start with the customer service! None existing baby! We asked a simple question didn't get answers!!! was told you build a bowl you can add a protein either steak or chicken add rice and vegetables and kept pointing at the wall. He didn't speak very good English or clearly enough for me to understand each other and I was getting frustrated! Then I asked for extra chicken he said it was $3 or $4 I said ok I got a jr bowl with fried rice and spicy orange fried chicken and my fiancé got a regular bowl with fried rice and steak with veggies! And crab raccoon. Then we got a med fountain drink Now they don't tell you they charge you extra for the rice which I think is dum because it should be apart of the bowl because duh! Then when I got my bowl I had maybe an 3/4 oz of chicken when I paid for extra chicken you can see clearly from the picture where is the extra chicken I asked for and not a lot of rice! A lot of places like to give u more rice them protein and if I'm paying $4 for extra chicken then I'm expecting extra chicken and I didn't get that so when my fiancé went back up to ask for the extra chicken he said that's how it comes! And had his fingers all over my bowl pointing and kept trying to explain himself when clearly there was a language barrier! I told him to come back to the table and it's fine I'll still try it out and go from there! The spicy orange chicken was good but the rice was nasty it was oily! His steak teriyaki bowl he had more veggies than rice and meat! His veggies wasn't even cooked very raw and under cooked idk maybe they're supposed to be like that, mmmmm idk. So I think working on portion control would be best when you're trying to do people's bowls especially when people pay for extras. Just a thought how about putting the extra on the side of asking the customer if they want it on the side! I tried to sign up for the rewards while ordering and it didn't work the employee didn't know either he told me to go online and my current order wouldn't count towards anything! What even at Popeyes you can have a code to redeem point for an order if the store u can't scan the app! So maybe check into that issue! The women's restroom toilet seat needs to be retightened the toilet seat was holding on for dear life! It was cocked to the side and they had the cleaning solution behind the trashcan on the floor it has spilled and no one got it up then the rolls of toilet paper was all over the floor but the rest of the bathroom was clean and the toilet was Shockley clean! So the only reason why I'm giving 2 stars is because the spicy orange chicken was rly good and the fountain drink was rly good also but over all WILL NOT COME BACK AND 10/10 WILL NOT RECOMMEND! No wonder why it was empty and no one was in the restaurant or parking lot it's over priced and service was subpar! Salty I spent $40 EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK! lol

Great combo! Not heavy at all. I already had white rice at home and just wanted the chicken and not the bowl. It's technically considered a side. But it does come with 8oz. I chose the spicy teriyaki chicken and also added some crab Rangoon. Customer service is kinda strange. Not very personable and they seem kinda rushed. The crab Rangoon was just okay. Crunchy and has the essence of crab. It looks like a small taco as opposed to the usual shape. It's not flavorful though. They have packets of sweet and sour sauce which helped. The chicken was good. It's actually spicy. Prob not something I'd recommend if you can't tolerate medium heat. But it does taste grilled and has a nice flavor. They gave me a side of regular teriyaki sauce which I later used to cook something else and it tasted good as well. It's definitely not a bad option for food around here. As other Yelpers said, it does seem pricey for what it is. Lots of Parking here though. It's kind of tucked away off a busy street.
