Not a bad deal for $29 during holidays, they have ginger scallion lobster. The place is roomy but very limited on their food selections. Surprisingly the sushi was very limited as well with a lot of rice. Their sashimi was not fresh so I would opt out of it. Cold appetizers were not bad and I was surprised they didn't have a regular salad bar like most buffet would. This one also does not have a hibachi station compared to its competitors on the island. Parking is challenging but they do offer 2 hours free parking at the lot if you have 4 or more people and only during dinner time. The lobster was not fresh and the meat was mushy. Snow crab legs were good. Overall, I think they have to work through their selections and frequency on refilling their food as there is a few options on the island with an abundance of options.

This was such a nice buffet. Super clean, well lit, plenty of tables, staff was nice, abs superb. This buffet is a lot closer to home so we gave it a try. Prices were reasonable. Food was good. Seafood options were great. Sushi looked amazing as well. Few things my family were looking for were white rice (they do have, you just have to ask), an ice cream machine (they do have frozen hard ice cream -no toppings), more dessert options, and more sauce options. Little things that can be solvable. But I'd def be back. My kid loved the fried chicken and my family loved everything else about it. It's nice to eat and then walk around the outlets. Hoping good things for this establishment.

The service is typical buffet style. The waiter takes your drink order right after showing you to your table. This place is an exceptionally clean buffet. The food comes out of the kitchen fresh and hot. I haven't been to a buffet in years, but this was a pleasant experience. This location had everything you could think of plus sushi and dessert.

Absolutely Outstanding! Sakura Buffet in Staten Island is hands down one of the best buffet experiences I've had in a long time. The food variety is incredible -- from beautifully presented sushi rolls that are fresh and flavorful, to an amazing seafood selection with juicy crawfish, perfectly cooked shrimp, and tender clams. The cold bar is packed with fresh salads and appetizers, and everything tastes as good as it looks. The presentation is gorgeous, with vibrant greenery and a clean, modern setup that makes every dish look even more appetizing. The staff is attentive, friendly, and quick to clear plates without being intrusive. Everything feels fresh, well-prepared, and constantly replenished. If you're looking for a place that has both quality and quantity, Sakura Buffet is the perfect spot. Whether you love sushi, seafood, or just a great variety of hot and cold dishes, this place delivers it all -- and does it exceptionally well. Highly recommend!

Very clean place. Nice seating with a view. Food is great. Good variety. Dinner buffet is worth the price tag.

Coordinating a group that size is never easy, but the staff was very accommodating they kept things moving, checked in often, and made sure we had what we needed. The food was a1. From the grill the short rib was the star! the hot pot miso soup was everything and satisfying just what I needed to combat the cold weather. There was plenty to go around, and the interactive cook-it-yourself vibe made it perfect for a group celebration. Definitely one of those meals where everyone is talking, laughing, and tasting a little bit of everything. That said, there were a few notes. A couple of items were brought out that we didn't order, which caused a bit of confusion at the table. Nothing major. Even with that, the experience was fun and delicious overall, and I genuinely had a great time celebrating here.

I opted for the mushroom soup and it was pretty flavorful. There are a variety of vegetables, meat, seafood, noodles, etc. to choose from. Some of my favorites include scallops, dumplings, udon, and fishballs. There is also a birthday freebie but you have to bring 3 other people with you. For $32 AYCE, it wasn't bad at all! I would return.

Service was prompt-- we were seated almost immediately once our whole group was gathered, and immediately began to be served. Meats came out fast. They have a 3 meat at a time limit here, but given that they're doing most of the cooking for you, it helps keep things fresh and things are coming off the grill pretty quickly anyways, so the limit does not really come at the cost of velocity of consumption (if you're that kind of AYCE eater). Service here is pretty proactive, coming by regularly and taking orders promptly. We got a mix of meats and sides throughout. Pork belly is a winner, both slabs and slices. Beef intestines were not as we remembered from other locations, but nonetheless good. Sliced beef brisket and jowl are also good cuts for folks looking for something new. Not too much of a fan of marinated meets, but I'm sure they'd live up to the same level of quality too. One huge plus about this particular chain (for which you do pay a bit of a premium in the price) is that they have pretty amazingly efficient grills and vents, such that you can largely avoid smelling like your AYCE KBBQ afterwards. Pretty uncommon, and totally forgivable when it happens, but a nice plus for this place!

Lunch was 33 dollars per person.

My go-to choices are shrimp cocktail, fried shrimp, oysters, fried soft-shell crab, stuffed crab shells, sushi, and sometimes hibachi. I wash it all down with sparkling water with lemon (it's listed as soda water on the menu). And YES, I get EVERYTHING I just listed--don't judge me! LOL. They also have plenty of other options besides seafood, so there's something for everyone. The ambiance is casual, laid-back, and clean. This spot is always busy, especially on a Friday night, but the food keeps coming out. There's plenty of room to dine, and it's also a good place for groups. My only complaint is the waitstaff. Unfortunately, they haven't been very friendly during my visits. I've given this spot several tries, and so far, even asking for your choice of beverage sometimes feels like you're bothering them. I'm not sure if they're tired, overwhelmed, or what the deal is--but I'm really trying to hang in there for my seafood! On the positive side, the host at the door always greets you with a smile and pleasantly takes you to your table. I'll definitely be back because the seafood keeps calling my name. I'm just hoping my next visit is as people-friendly as it is food-friendly!

You make your plate, weigh and pay about $10 per pound. My feijoada plate from the attached picture had a little less than a pound so I paid around $9 which is a great deal especially if you compare to other restaurants in the area. The restaurant is somewhat small, simple, but there are enough tables for everyone even during lunch hours. Staff is friendly, they give you privacy to pick your food without anyone bothering you, food is tasty and the variety is ok. I wish they had Brazilian barbecue similar to other restaurants in the area but I can't really complain because the food and price were great. Compared to other Brazilian restaurants in the area this place has a big advantage because the process is very simple. Other restaurants such as Casa Nova, Cantinho Mineiro, Delícia de Minas also offer a buffet option but their process is very complicated. They have a prix fixe option for a set price and then if you add meat it's a different price, if you want to take something to go you need to pick a prix fixe container for a different price. It's just too confusing and I don't really like that, hence my preference for this Brazilian buffet restaurant. Don't expect any luxury or lots of variety. This is a practical restaurant offering food for a fair price. I definitely recommend it. Note that there's just street parking and the Wilson Ave area tends to be busy so keep that in mind.
