When we got home and opened the cardboard box, we found the salads scattered all over the box, missing dressings and weren't labeled by person or type of salad. Reading the previous reviews, I see that this is a common theme with this facility. I tried calling the facility with no answer. And the website provide by the Salad & Go website and the one the 'business owner' replied on Yelp reviews had given did not work. Dysart and McDowell - This is THE SLOWEST Salad and Go I have ever been to!!! Something weird is going on here, because there was NO ONE in line, but I sat at the ordering speaker for 5 minutes waiting for them to take my order at 7:30pm on a Monday. Then I pulled up, and 2 girls were inside looking like they were busy, but again I SAT at the pickup window for 5 minutes before I received my ONE salad!! What the what??? Come on, people! Service was just not it, the person on the speaker taking our orders was super jittery, and we had to repeat orders several times, all that just for her to end up not getting it right and charging us extra for the add-ons, food proportions weren't it, and the basil lemonade had damn near no ice, the frozen lemonade didn't look or taste right. On 11/1/22 I placed an order for 2 salads and wrap. According to the app my food would be ready at 6. When I arrived it was 5:57. I decided to wait to go to the window since I was 3 minutes early. At 6 I went to the window and told them my name. She informed me it wasn't ready yet. I saw the drive thru was busy and understood they were behind. While I waited I noticed the person that helped me at the window was taking orders and then going back to making food. She did this numerous time and opened the window with the gloves on. I told her that it didn't appear that she changed her gloves in between making my meal and taking orders. The lady simply said she has gloves over there. I explained that it doesn't look good because it doesn't appear that she is changing her gloves since I watched her go to the wrap that was no where near gloves. That's simply unsanitary. Great if she does change her gloves, however, the perception suggests that is not happening. You should not be taking order and opening windows while making food with gloves on. I didn't eat the wrap. I threw it away because I could not be certain she used clean gloves. As well, if I order online it makes no sense why people who are going through the drive through after me are getting their meals prior to me. Second time here; first time salads were very fresh and good. This time disappointing. Cucumbers were frozen and not edible. Romaine on both salads had a large amount of brown and tough leaves that had to be thrown away before eating salads. Cherry tomatoes not fresh tasting either, which we both threw away. read more

This place opened up close to my house and I was so excited because there are not a lot of healthy options on the west side of Phoenix. I do love that the salads come packed with nutrition and they are huge and typically even after I add a ton of stuff to them they are still under eight dollars each. The one complaint that I have about this location in Avondale, is that they are notorious for getting my order wrong. I will ask for croutons and instead get black beans. Or something crazy like that. One time I got so many jalapeños in my salad that I was not able to eat it. And it was my husbands salad who had the jalapeños. But he eats chicken and I don't so we couldn't share salads. I will continue to eat here because like I said there is not a lot of other salad options. I hope they just do a better job of training their staff to pay attention to the ticket orders as they come in. If somebody had an allergy this could be really bad for them. read more

I've always liked the salads, however today we did have a very unpleasant encounter with the cashier. Both my sister and I love the BBQ Ranch salad. that is all we get. I am vegetarian, so I always get the chicken on the side, to which they have always been accommodating to that. When we got to the register today the girl charged us, and when she brought out our food, she brought two wraps. I am not one to speak up when something is wrong with my order because I get really anxious, but my sister was with me and she does not like wraps at all, so I told the lady we ordered salads. She said no you said wraps but she snatches the bag and tosses it to the cook rolling her eyes and saying "these are suppose to be salads" she made me feel so bad and uncomfortable I quickly check my receipt and Indeed it does say wraps. At that point I really just wanted to ask for a refund a leave, but then the girl comes back and hands us the food. I don't think I could ever return to this location especially if getting my order correct or fixed will cause such strong reaction to an individual. I love Salad and Go, and was so excited to hear about this new location closer to my home. Food is always great and service is normally quick. I get that this location just opened, but I would recommend that the workers keep up with mobile and online orders. I went up to the window to pick up my mobile order scheduled for 8:30. I was told "it will be a while" even though I submitted my mobile order 30 minutes prior. It was cold so I decided to wait in my car. Another lady went up to the window and had to wait outside as well, but she got her food before me even though I confirmed with her that her pick up time was later than mine. I did not get my order until a second lady opened the window to ask for my name and they only just prepared it on the spot, despite the fact that I was already waiting in my car for 10 minutes after the first girl took my name. I would have gotten my food quicker if I went through drive thru - which they prioritized over mobile orders that were put way ahead of time. Hope this location improves on this! read more

We go to this Salas and Go more then I'd like to admit. I've never had an issue. My husband sometimes will surprise me and grab it on his way home for us. He also gets double orders so I can have lunch the next day. That being said tonight March 19th at 4:45pm my husband went to grab us food. After he grabbed his food-not ordered on the app the worker said he should use the app if it's going to place a big order. I find that very off putting. How we order really isn't any concern of yours and the comment isn't needed. It's not like he ordered 10 salads. He ordered 6 things. He said it wasn't busy, they were not close to closing, and now he doesn't want to give them our business. Now I'm bothered because this was one of my favorite spots. I don't know why people feel the need to comment on how a customer orders. You offer drive thru and online. There is no rule that says you must order on the app. read more

This place is really slow. They don't know how to pace the car lines properly. One line will move faster than the other one. I don't know if that's a technical difficulty with their intercom system or what. This is the third time I've tried this place. It seems to get slower every time. I know it's new. I've been going to Salad an Go since it opened. I love the Caesar salad. The menu at the drive thru says the salad is 300 calories and the dressing is 120 calories. Leading me to believe I'm getting 420 calories total eating the Caesar salad. When I checked the website nutrition information it stated that 1 ounce of Caesar dressing is 120 calories. It stated that 1 packet of dressing is 2.5 ounces/servings( this is true for all dressing listed on the menu according to the nutritional information). This makes the Caesar dressing 300 calories not 120 calories as shown on the drive thru menu. Very misleading and disappointing. I'm going back to making my own salads again. I wonder how many other items on the menu are misleading? read more

The salad is fresh and large. I ordered the Thai salad and my husband ordered the Caesar. He didn't want meat on his and I ordered the avocado for it. When we got home, there was no avocado. Our dressings were exactly the same. I didn't get Thai and his wasn't Caesar. I am really not sure what they were. Also, it was our first time there and I didn't know how everything was served. I liked this place as a good option for healthy-ish vegetarian food that's quick and easy. They have messed up my orders five times now by adding meat that I specifically have asked to be removed. I have not eaten meat in 15 years, so tonight I was very upset to have taken a big bite full of disgusting chicken in my wrap when I asked for tofu. When I took it back to the store, they grumbled a half-ass apology, which did not rectify the fact that I now had meat in my stomach. The entire staff is all kids that look to be under 20, and they are not equipped or trained on customer service or how to fix situations they messed up on. I feel like I'm a pretty reasonable person, and if tonight had been the first time they had messed up and added meat to my order, I would not be writing this review. But considering the fact that they have done it five times now, I feel like it's warranted. They do not pay attention to detail, and they do not seem to care.
