The food was delicious as always ( new Jill Pickle salad is amazing!) but what truly made my whole day was the young woman, who took my order. Brianna, had a busy line to deal with and handled it all with so much grace and a huge smile. When it was my turn to order I had a few questions and she was able answer them all fully and gave her own great suggestions! I also had to add that I ordered a friend's order to-go, along with my own and my friends order had an item with pecans. I was in the area and craving chicken salad so I put in Google chicken salad and this place popped up. I went for the first time. They were very nice. Excellent customer service. They recommended different things since it was my first time there explained the difference between two of the sandwiches and two of the different chicken salads and then pimento cheese, etc. Very very nice. Great customer service! I ordered my chicken salad sandwich to go just the normal chicken salad sandwich with lettuce and tomato, with a side of pimento cheese. It also came with a pickle and some crackers. Everything was delicious, except actually the chicken salad sandwich that I tried. It was okay but I have had better which is surprising given the name of the place... the reason they got a four is because of the scoop of pimento cheese and the Customer Service. What a hidden gem! Clean, friendly service, and good food. I've only been to this location by Costco but I think there are several around town. I've tried about 4-5 different types of chicken salad here and all have been good. It's not too heavy like some other delis that serve chicken salad. The best broccoli salad also. I Love chicken salad chick. So many options. Quaint restaurant. Staff were pleasant. Do yourself a favor and give them a try.

1st visit deserved my 5 star review. The last 2 visits, described below I rate at 2 stars combined. Negatives from visit of 11/13/24: * Crackers were stale tasting, many were broken * samples are VERY TINY (too small--less than a small bite, unable at all to get idea of flavor) * Fancy Nancy Quick Chick had only 2 grapes in the large size container * I called ahead & spoke with a young lady who had no idea how many ounces or lbs the 2 container sizes contained, or how the 3-scoop meal compared to the two sizes. She had to ask someone for answers. She informed me that: --small size was a 1/2 lb & would feed 4 to 5 people; --large size was one lb & would feed 8 to 10 people. She was totally wrong about how many people each size would feed--way, way off! I ordered a large size, & I estimate about 4 scoops in the large container. Today's visit (12/6/24), I ordered a large Quick Chick container of the Fruity Fran flavor. It had more grapes & apples, but not much pineapple. The crackers were fresher, but too many were again broken & two cracker pkgs were opened--one with 2 full crackers PLUS part of a third** & the other open pkg missing half of each of the two crackers. Since these pkgs only contain 2, obviously someone had opened these, taken parts of 2 out of one, and added a piece of a 3rd to the other open pkg. (**DID THEY RECYCLE OPEN PKGS LEFT ON A TABLE BY OTHER CUSTOMERS???). Can they not notice damaged/open packages & not pass them off to unsuspecting customers? Got a couple more samples today. I was again disappointed that the sample sizes contained about enough chicken salad to barely cover the tip of a small plastic spoon. Definitely NOT enough to decide whether or not I would want to order any of them. If they were a bit more generous with sample sizes, I'd likely visit them more often & order several more flavors. I'll not spend $12.99 for a single flavor to risk not liking it & end up throwing it away. As of now, out of 12 different flavors, I've had & liked 3 (FruityFran, Fancy Nancy & Classic Carol). Several of the remaining 9 sound intriguing, but too expensive to try. PS: My 2nd visit (before these last 2), I did not review, but it would have been my last visit due to an older male manager who was VERY RUDE AND UNHELPFUL. We're lucky this place is 10 minutes away. The restaurant is clean and the staff is courteous and efficient. Their chicken salads are amazing. The Fancy Nancy has grapes and apples for a nice crunch. We recently tried the Egg Salad--addicting! Creamy, flavors balanced, and always fresh. The sandwiches didn't really impress me, but they're not bad. Mac and cheese was so so. For something sweet, their fresh fruit or grape salads are my favs--fruit is always fresh. I've only tried a cookie and it was too sweet for me.
