The front desk is often unmanned, and I have seen numerous teenage non-members enter and use the weight room without any of the staff being aware of their presence. But the worst aspect is that there is often no lifeguard on duty, particularly in the early morning. The management of this Y must start running this place in a more professional manner.

The location is new and sparkly, but the coaches and athletes are what made the old location - and make the new one - a welcoming place to workout! If you're not sure about trying Crossfit you can drop in for a first class for free. The sport prides itself on being scaleable to all levels - so whether you're just beginning a fitness journey or you've been lifting your whole life, you will fit in! Here, a workout is programmed each day and a coach will guide you through all of the movements and steps. All of the coaches are incredibly encouraging and excellent at helping you master the movements. The gym offers regular Crossfit classes, as well as Barbell, Mobility, and Yoga sessions. The thought of going to a crowded gym with no direction used to be enough to cement me to the couch. Plus, I had the self-confidence of a wet paper towel. All I knew was that I wanted to become healthier and learn to lift weights properly. Since starting here a little over a year ago, I have a much healthier mindset about fitness. I'm very grateful for taking a chance then, and for the supportive community I have here now!

I had an appointment with the trainer but was running a few minutes late. I sent a text to my trainer, saying, "on my way". I was about 6 minutes late. She had a habit of interrupting my training sessions- on a regular basis, for which time I was paying additional fees. I never had any compensation to make up for her extended interruptions, but yet when I was a few minutes late, I had to pay more anyway for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! I quit! I found a much better gym with classes for the same price that I enjoy very much.
