Got a pedicure and gel manicure. The pedi went fine but when we moved stations to do the manicure the nail tech continuously talked To her co worker next to her often stopping the Manicure to carry on conversation. My Nails are not even filed to the same length some are longer than the others. I had to point out that she did not remove all of the previous polish before she started to re polish. At the end I noticed my ring finger was sore. After putting on my glasses I realized she cut me and didn't even notice. When I pointed out the my finger was cut she didn't seem to be too concerned. $72! I will never go here again. read more

What i like about this place, is that you can get seated quickly, even without an appointment. I got a basic pedicure, so that was quick. It's a big nail salon. Clean. my nails turned out looking okay. however service was rushed, messy, and overall not somewhere i will be returning. my finger was burned with the drill bit multiple times due to the filing underneath the nails because of sloppy application process of the acrylic. which i will be adding a video of the application i took because i was so worried to begin with. ALSOOOO throughout the whole process my nail tech asked "you okay?" as if it wasn't obvious he was hurting me. i also went with a friend who left a 2.00$ tip (due to the fact that our service was rushed) and they charged her for a 20.00$ tip. when we called we were told to come in so they could refund and see her nails..?? she had nails already when we arrived and instead of doing a fill and color change they took off her nails and proceeded with a whole new set. read more

The only thing I liked about this salon is that they wore masks and sanitized everything. I was seated quickly but then on the pedicure chair I was waiting for about twenty minutes!!! You must make an appointment and when you show up you have to stay in your car until they come get you. Once you're in, you must be wearing a mask and they take your temperature. They are also walking around and sanitizing everything constantly. Love this place I always have a great experience here. I've had better results. They are quick and accept walk ins. A few weeks ago after taking a break from getting my nails done, I went and had tips put on for the holidays. As I was seated, the one worker was having her nails done by her co-worker seated next to her, no big deal waited five minutes. As her nails were done she started on my tips. One of my tips was placed on crooked. I didn't make a fuss. The two of them sitting side by side speaking in another language obviously talking about one of their co-workers who was seating their customers. I've visited Salina Nails many times over the years but quit going over a year ago because I started to notice that my pedicure polish didn't last and after 3 separate visits, I gave up. Every business has a bad day but after 3 times with the same issues, I decided to go to another local salon and no longer have that problem. I don't know if it's poor nail prep or the quality of polish but I don't have lasting results when I go to Salina's. I can easily get 3-4 weeks from a good pedicure at a couple of other local establishments. Less than 2 weeks ago, I decided to give Salina's another try and sadly, I've experienced the same problems. I've got 6 toenails that have polish chipping at the 9 day mark. I called to inquire what could be done and was told to come in for a touch up on the chipped nails but their wouldn't paint all 10. No thanks. For a $50 pedicure, I'm not interested in 6 freshly painted nails and 4 with 12 day old polish. This confirms why I left to begin with. A lot of ladies like Salina Nails in Fleming Island but I can assure you, there are several other nail salons that give a much better pedicure with longer lasting polish. At that price point for a special pedicure, I expect longer than 9 days out of polish and a better customer service experience. It would have been very simple for them to quickly paint all 10 toes and it would have gone a long way to show a customer that they value my business. Salina's missed the mark on this one and failed to get back a loyal customer too. read more

I've been debating back and forth on whether or not to post this. But after talking to some of the girls at my job I decided that people need to know about this. I just moved here from Alabama to work on base in Jacksonville for the summer, I needed to get my nails done and looked this place up online and the reviews seemed good. When I went in, the salon was clean and the receptionist was attentive. All seemed well until my pedicure started. A young boys sat down in front of me, and asked which pedicure I would like, when I told him my selection he offered a discounted price for a better pedicure because they were offering a sale on it. I decided that this price seemed fair and that I would pick the cucumber deluxe pedicure that he had offered. I got this pedicure on July 23, and here I am today on August 5 writing a review because I'm still paying for this pedicure. The technician began my pedicure, shaped my nails, then proceeded to slice me with the callous removing sponge. My initial response was that sometimes to remove the calluses from my heels the technician does have to do a little extra work. I'm an avid runner and soccer player so my feet do take a beating sometimes. This pedicure went a little too far.... The technician proceeded to cut me on the bottom of my feet and the side of my ankle where my tattoo is. this is where I stopped him, when he finally looked up from what he was doing he realized that I was uncomfortable and asked if he was hurting me... I told him that he was and that I wanted to stop, but when he noticed that my foot was bleeding he proceeded to try to put my foot back into the chemically treated water, as you can imagine this did not feel very good. when I started to put my shoes on, the man told me that because he had already shaped my nails that I would have to pay $10 because he had already started the service. As you can imagine, I was fairly upset and was drawing the attention of other patrons in the salon. Their manager quickly rushed over to me, and asked me to remain quiet while he looked at my feet. I will not be returning to this salon, for obvious reasons. The manager was appropriate in telling me that I would not have to pay for any services and offered that same pedicure at a later date if I wanted... no need. read more

In the past I received great service but won't do business here anymore. I went in to get my nails painted and had already removed the prior polish and cleaned my nails. All they had to do was put on the new polish & I requested a cut down. They said it would be $18.00!!!! $15 for REGULAR polish and $3.00 for the cut down. I asked why so much and she said because your nails are long. I went ahead and paid because it wasn't worth the fight, but they knew good and well that wasn't right! I didn't tip and won't return. Not only that I didn't want the gel for $25 and got the regular & once they were done, they didn't even have a fan to dry them..WTF absolutely ridiculous!! On Tuesday I made an appointment for 2 pedicures @ 6:30 and when we arrived they unfortunately said they were full and we'd be waiting an hour.. even though we had made appointments showed up on time they completely overbooked or I'm not sure what happened. I kindly understood and offered to reschedule for the following day Wednesday at 6 Pm 2 pedicures . We probably showed up the next day or and we were seated by only one of the pedicures started at roughly 615 the second at 6:40. We ended up being there til 7:50 . Frankly 2 pedicures and 2 hours is not ok for me ! I love this place .. especially the fact that they serve beer and the people are so polite but 2 hours in a nail salon for 1 service is way too long sorry :/ and to come come and still have callus all over my heels for $50 is ridiculous. my FAV nail salon. i've been going here for over a year to get my gel acrylic fill ins and i have not once had any complaint of any sort! the guy who runs the place gets you in quick and makes sure you get the wonderful service they always give! drinks are always offered, the hospitality here is amazing! they seem to always be fully staffed and quick to get your nails or feet done but they do it so well. my nails are always lookin so good thanks to them! since covid they've also started selling masks, sooo many different colors and prints for only 5$ a piece. my favorite mask was bought from here. to get a fill in i usually pay 34$ (42-44$ with tip). pedicures are about 25-35$. ive gotten sparkly nails, plain nails, diff color nails, holiday nails, short nails, long nails.. you name it. enjoy my dozens of pics of my nails! read more
