I can't speak for anything except the labor and delivery departments at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital. I LOVED sooo much about how I was treated in my most vulnerable moment (labor) that I HAD to write a review!!! I had my third baby girl at SVMH. My two other daughters were born elsewhere. My husband and I arrived at the hospital around 3 in the morning, and I didn't know it at the time, but I was 8cm dilated (I had already lost my mucus plug). I was in excruciating pain and could barely walk in, but I tried to maintain an appearance of calm. A BEAUTIFUL nurse named Jessica (I wish I knew her last name) saw to me first. She was like my saving grace and an answer to prayer that God would provide me with an excellent and caring team. While she was examining me before I was led to a delivery room, she could tell I was hurting. She gave me hip squeezes and showed my husband how to do them. I cannot tell you the relief those squeezes brought me in those moments. She showed compassion in her words, facial expressions, and actions throughout my labor and delivery (and get this, she stayed AFTER her shift to coach me through pushes, which aided IMMENSELY in making my labor the fastest I've ever had!!! She was not the only nurse who showed me great care. There was also Rayanne, Cheryl, Blanca, Jackie, and another Jackie, whom I later found out is Jacqueline Espinoza. They were sooo sweet and professional the whole time I was in labor. I had difficulty and needed two epidurals. These superhero nurses gave me massage oils, made sure I had everything I needed, encouraged me, and coached me through the pain. They made sure my husband and my dear friend (who is like a mother to me) had everything they needed. And 3 of these nurses stayed AFTER their shift until my baby was born. They held up my legs, and Jessica gave mental images to help me visualize as I pushed by sharing her own story of imagining herself pushing out the pain as she exhaled when she was delivering her baby. Also, I have to say that the way Jessica placed the birthing peanut between my legs, as before I began crowning, really seemed to help my baby girl come quickly through my pelvis. Jessica shook my husband's hand and congratulated us. I was in labor with my other daughters for 15+ hours. With my third girl, I was in labor for 4 hours!!! I have SOOOO much gratitude for the way these nurses helped coach me. For the ways they moved me around to help position me in the right place for birth. For the ways they called sprang into action when I moaned that my baby was coming. For the warm blankets they offered when I was cold. For the way they called for the anesthesiologist a second time when I said I was still in a lot of pain. Kudos to these nurses and to Dr. Katherine Ruth for being so calm as I was delivering. I can't thank you all enough for a wonderful experience and for putting my mind at ease during one of the most painful and vulnerable moments in my life. 5-star nurses!!!! read more

This hospital used to be the place everyone went to. These days, I hate coming here. To be honest, it's not really the hospital itself--it's certain employees. Most of the staff are fine, but one person with a bad attitude and no sense of how to talk to people can make an already stressful situation much worse. Our father was brought into the ER by ambulance. My family (four of us) was sitting in the trailer area off to the side, waiting for updates. An employee named Norma told us to move from the center seats to the wall seats because "people were going to come and it was going to get busy." We did as she asked. My husband and I left briefly to get my mom something to eat from Starbucks. While we were gone, my younger sister mentioned to my son that she was hungry. Norma told her, "Yeah, you should go eat." First, why is she inserting herself into other people's conversations? Second, who tells someone in that situation to go eat without knowing what they may have just seen or been through? My son had watched my dad fall and start to convulse. When I returned, my husband and son had left, and my older sister had arrived, so there were three of us waiting again while our mom stayed with our dad. I was sitting quietly on my phone, and my sisters were talking softly to each other. Norma approached us and said, "It's going to get busy in here and I need you guys to go." My sister asked, "Go where?" Norma replied, "You can go to the waiting room, you can go outside and wait, or you can go get something to eat." I asked her if she thought it was safe for three women to be walking around outside in the dark. And once again with the food comment--who in their right mind tells family members to leave and go eat without knowing why they're there in the first place? She then said we could sit in the waiting room "in the front." We had assumed the area we were already in was the waiting room. The real issue was her tone. Even as my sisters and I started walking out, she kept talking. I turned and told her, "You don't have to be so damn rude." I then asked her coworker for her name. The coworker said, "Norma." I heard Norma ask her coworker what I had said, so I turned back and said, "I asked for your name, Norma." She continued talking as we left--this was the point where she should have simply stopped. We walked around the corner and found a bench. As I sat down to process the interaction, I looked down and saw an IV cannula lying on the ground. There are things you just don't do. You don't invite trouble at work. That's why officers, EMTs, and firefighters never like hearing someone say "it's a quiet night"--you don't call a hard night into existence. read more

Don't come here if you can help it. I was rescheduled twice by the office due to doctor scheduling; each reschedule delayed my appointment by an additional month. Finally, on the day of my appointment, I arrived 15 minutes late due to traffic on the 101 and they turned me away after driving from an hour away. They said that they were already behind by 45 minutes with appointments and had to reschedule me 3 weeks away. Well, if you're running 45 minutes behind and I was 15 minutes late, then I probably would have been still waiting 30 minutes to be seen had there not been construction on the 101. So do they care about seeing patients? It seems more to me like they don't know how to run their office. The VA is a better run office than here. I will make the longer drive to Stanford, Santa clara valley, or to the VA in the future. read more

I recently accompanied my dad to the ER after he began experiencing symptoms alongside a dangerously HBP reading. He arrived around 7:00 PM, and we weren't done until nearly 11:45 PM--almost five hours later--with very little communication or clarity along the way. What stood out the most was how backwards the entire process felt. After his name was called, we were brought into a room where a doctor assessed him and discussed his symptoms. From there, they registered him (which seemed like it should've happened first), then took him back to draw blood, and afterward-- we were sent right back to the waiting room until he was next for his scan. Another concern I had: the lobby was packed, and that's where everyone was expected to sit and wait. Patients who could be dealing with the flu, COVID, or anything else were all mixed in together with no separation. It didn't feel safe or hygienic. For someone like my dad--who came in with extremely high blood pressure--you would think they'd at least place him in a room to monitor him instead of sending him back to the general waiting area. I get that ERs are busy, but this experience made an already stressful night that much worse. There's a real need for better communication, prioritization, and patient safety measures at this facility. read more

Info technology of this hospital is less than desirable. They asked me to participate in a survey that I was more than happy to do. But the date of my encounter that I am required to enter to start. the survey, it does not recognize at all despite repeated attempts. When the email was sent back to address this, survey team continues to send me several form letters including one from the CEO of the hospital in a threatening manner- but email could not be sent back. Surveys are supposed to be unbiased and free to express! I was ushered in by the admitting ( registration clark) by not by my name by signaling me out like I was a dog or cattle! Very insulting. However, because of the physicIan, I go to I continue to use this system. They are many thousands of mile from Stanford Hospital. Try harder and be truthful- some day you will get there. read more

Very tough to write this, but holy wow, this is a crappy hospital. Mother in Law had to go to ER, that was pretty good. People were caring and communicative. Went to Cardiac Care unit and sure seems like nobody cares or knows what is going on, including the Charge nurses. The Emergency- still in a tent ! It is not Covid. Blocking the curb for dropping off patients and parking is unacceptable. Telling me that is for the ambulances to regroup and I see them setting up in the driveway after their drop off and regrouping while the security guard is reading a book! The patient/family experience is like in a war zone. And, now the is a security checkpoint to enter the building. It is not friendly-no more "Neighbors Who Care" the security guard looked in my purse my tote bag. This is to make me feel safe and make gang members not bring guns and knifes into the hospital. The question is what if they show up with the guns and the knifes on them? Then what? Are the security guards trained to handle that kind of conflict? And what about the people in the waiting room? I hope this was a good idea. I have been in a lot of hospitals around the world and this is the first time I have ever seen this done. Take the cones off the Salinas City streets. I arrived on a Sunday at 11am and was seen so quickly and efficiently. Thankful for the compassionate Dr. Hunt and Nurse Ashley who helped me as I was dehydrated and scared. We were there for about 2 and a half hours, the quickest ER visit I've EVER had. We did notice that the service slowed once they had a rush of people come in, but we beat the rush just in time and got blessed with angels to help. Hoping to never have to go back to the ER but if I do, I feel better knowing we're cared by some amazing healthcare professionals. read more

If I could give them a -10, I would this place is Absolute shit it has taking me five years to overcome the trauma. This hospital has done to me. Check-in was absolute shit. The check-in people didn't know what the hell they were doing. They put my Social Security number in for my insurance number so that was a fun bill to try and get figured out like three or four weeks after having a traumatizing birth the nurses and the labor and delivery were great, except one nurse and of course I got stuck with that one nurse when I was pushing, she put my knee like all the way behind my head and would not let it go like even in between contractions. The doctor finally agreed to give me a C-section after inducing me on Monday breaking my water on Wednesday getting an infection on Thursday and then pushing for 2 1/2 hours on Friday so I was in labor for a whole entire week for the ignorance of the doctors and the nurses legally you're only supposed to be in labor for a certain amount of time before they have to do a C-section and my doctor refused when I got to the recovery area. The nurses would not come to help us in our room to the point where when I was throwing up violently hours after a C-section. They just stared at me while I'm asking for a bucket covered myself covered my brand new baby the head nurse came in the next day and I told her I should never have to think about calling for a nurse to lie about my son's care so I can get taken care of that's unacceptable. All in all if you want trauma from a place that I was supposed to help you this is a place to go oh and then on top of that they wouldn't leave me alone for like years. They kept on calling and emailing me about my stay there and want to hear about the good things they did and I told them absolutely nothing and they still continue to call. read more

Back here again today at the ER. This is strictly for how they handle privacy. Just now, a social worker came outside (I mean outside of the hospital) to let a family know their Dad died. Mind you, this was outside, and several people were listening. I was sitting by the stairs waiting for a friend to come out, and the hospital Social Worker was telling the family what their options are. The hospital needed information to see which cemetery they wanted to send the body to, and etc... Bro. Are you telling me you could not have pulled this family into a private room and told them? Salinas Valley Memorial hospital misdiagnosed my mother's glioblastoma and sent her home stating her MRI had improved. By the time she had worsening symptoms, she was taken back to the ER, where the tumor had grown rapidly. She died 23 days later. I blame Salinas Valley Memorial and their neurology team for not giving her the one thing she wanted--time. The team instead spun wheels and wasted a great amount of time insisiting she had an infection of the brain--this was all time that could have been spent pursuing cancer treatment. This wasn't days. This was over a month. Yes, glioblastoma is a fatal disease--she knew that and so did we. But earlier intervention would have given her the opportunity for chemo and radiation and time. Some other horrors experienced there? A nurse admitting to me she forgot to give my mom pain medications for 12+ hours following brain surgery. A patient begging for help in their Telemetry wing (so bad that I--while visiting my mom--when in to check on the woman). I called to file a grievance about this four months ago. Zero calls back. Had to call again to get their attention. It's apparent they have no interest in any corrective actions. read more

Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital Wednesday Night, August 25, 2021 I was in E.R. because I'd had heart palpitations while camping earlier in the week, and at my regular checkup with my primary care doctor at my 4 p.m. appt. he told me to go directly there. After waiting in the Waiting Area about an hour, I was called back, and attended by a big Philippine MALE nurse about 30 years of age. While a young man of about 24 years old name David was taking my blood, the Philippine nurse came in and asked, "Have you had the Covid vaccination?" I replied no. Then he asked if I'd been tested for Covid. I replied no again, told him I did not want it. He left the room and came back within 10 seconds with a very long sick with a swab on it. I immediately told him, "NO! YOU ARE NOT STICKING THAT INTO MY BODY!! I DO NOT WANT THIS!" I told him I wanted to leave, that if they demand this, I will leave. He just grinned, and kept coming. I put my hands up, crying and begging him not to. Then standing to my left while I was on the gurney, he put his left hand by my right shoulder and pinned me down,all the while LAUGHING & left a bruise, which my daughter & Granddaughter found the next day & took photos of; I'll send those later, after I get them off her phone! With me FIGHTING, he next swatted then pinned my arms down with his left hand hand, while shoving that swab into my nose; I told him, "I do NOT want this, it's all the way into my brain! STOP IT!!" I was trying to pull it out, he held my arms pinned, laughing, and shoved it in farther. Then he was using his left leg to push my legs down too, so I couldn't fight. He left it in there, with me pinned, pushed it in several times, with me FIGHTING THE WHOLE TIME, YELLING! It was over in about a minute, but I could not go to sleep, as I was admitted for observation; I laid there, running it through my mind, how I felt ASSAULTED, trying to read and comprehend the book I'd brought with me. Copy of text I immediately sent my 20 year-old Darling Granddaughter Sierra, who took me there and waited outside in the car: They FORCED ME to get Covid tested, with me SCREAMING NO, DO NOT, as the first guy was taking my blood. The nurse dived a stick way up in my nose to my brain, with me fighting and screaming!! I just KNOW I'm gonna get it now, it's a CONSPIRACY!!LOL! I wrote 'dived' but meant 'shoved' the stick... I also want to note other things that happened to me at that hospital: After (literally) 5-6 hours in E.R., I was finally taken to a room; soon after, my nurse & her helper (white, about 30 with dark brown hair; black, about 20, 'big' girl) came in and demanded they check me for what they said were "bed sores." Okay... They had me take my feet out of the blankets and SCRUTINIZED between EVERY single toe, went up my legs, feeling, checked my arm pits, both breasts, my hair, then had me take my pants and underwear off and CHECKED INSIDE MY VAGINA, & INSIDE MY BUTT - her nose was about 2" from me?!?!?!?! YES THE WHITE NURSE SURE DID!! WHY?? For "bed sores" as they claimed? She STUCK HER FINGERS INSIDE BOTH ORIFICES & WENT AROUND WITH THEM! This was so far past embarrassing, it was humiliating, shameful!! I pray to My Lord in Heaven that THESE things also NEVER happen to others; they are far beyond the pale, unnecessary!! My daughter will be an R.N. in just a few months; she told me these are egregious events, are totally unnecessary and unethical and I believe her! Text to My Darling Granddaughter Sierra at 2:19 a.m.: My specialist heart doctor was just in here, asked some questions, told me I'm getting tested today, exercise stress test I think?? When I told him I'm okay but hungry, I didn't eat all day, he asked why I hadn't eaten; I said the nurse told me I'm NPO. HE WAS PISSED, called that nurse in, chewed her out and told her it's written clearly in the charts, NPO doesn't start until 2:00 a.m.! She knew he was pissed, brought me TWO sandwiches!! I went to the ER yesterday thursday may 23 2024 for abdominal pain. I give my care/treatment 5 stars. From the people that initially saw me to the physician every single person was kind and concerned and careful. I would list names but I would not want to miss anyone. All the ER staff were great. The MD was really smart and explained things he was very kind also. The ultrasound tech was so extra sweet. Ct tech smiled and helped me move over. My first nurse was quick to assist. Please read my previous review as this is a continuation to it. Back in the 1990s, I recall how this hospital demanded payment up front before any medical services were done for me. I had life threatening medical issues and could have died if my parents could not pay up front. No leniency and no compassion. They told my parents and i that there were no options unless I was a single mother which was a lie. It seemed that when it got down to it, money was their number one priority not the patient. I was so sick that I could not work and I was considered an insurance risk. Luckily my parents had savings set aside for emergencies but that money was slowly depleting because of the surgeries, tests, blood transfusions and more that I had to have. I have pondered over the years, if my parents could not paid up front, would the staff here have let me die? Do the staff that have retired since know that much of the gifted money they received from their supposedly wonderful years of services was most likely provided by my parents being forced to pay up front so i can get the medical services that I so much needed? Did they realize that my parents almost went into debt? Do they even consider this while driving their Tesla and playing a round of golf while enjoying retirement?....I doubt it. Heartless for them to consider money is more important than the patient's needs! I have cried many times because of this. Sure they have a great medical facility and the doctors as well as the nurses are wonderful but I cannot forgive them for the financial stress that they put my parents and I through! Update: Someone wrote me a note but did not read both reviews carefully. I stated that the doctors and nurses are superb. The facility has high quality services. The problem was that the financial department were heartless and lacked compassion. Yes, fairly the hospital is a business and would want payment, however there was two problems with the way they ran their system there- 1. they lacked resources or at least did not want patients to be aware of them. They told me that I would have to be a single mom to have any leniency in health bills. This is a lie. There were options as clearly the person wrote to me stated- both Natividad and CHOMP accept uninsured and unemployed patients. We were not aware of that. But even back then, there was no Obama Care or related options. 2. they often demanded payment up front before I could even get any services. I would be in extreme agony with tumors or cysts and they would demand my parents to write out check before I could receive any help. They could not bill my parents later! So if at that moment a check bounced or they could not pay by check, would the hospital have just left me in the waiting room to perhaps die? It seemed like that to me! This vonb..... called my review which is legit ....BS! He is BS, he does not know how heartless they were! I was there and many times was treated insignificant and a burden for them at least until my parents paid up! Pay up now or go away! Also if I were you- Vonb.... look into how the ambulance service treated the uninsured back then...I heard some stories especially from someone who had a family member that worked there! Services at the ER last weekend were both good and bad. I had to drive myself to the ER with an acute laceration to my thumb. I was in a lot of pain and profuse bleeding. BAD: There was no pkg. at all that I could find. I had to circle the block 3x to find one. The security guard then told me I could have pkd. across the street at the Mammography Ctr., but as a patient there, there is a sign that says no parking except for patients so I never even thought to park there, didn't want a ticket and there is NO SIGN telling me I could have pkd. there. The registration/triage is in a tent in the parking lot, again, there are no signs that I saw to know this. Once triaged, I was put through the fast-track lane that would get me in sooner. Once there, I sat waiting to be seen and although it was faster than normal, 2 employees within close earshot spent about 10 min. talking about their personal lives instead of helping patients. I almost said something but didn't want to risk pissing them off and being put at the bottom of the waitlist. When I returned home, I looked at the discharge instruction sheet and my prescription med list. The list they had was so outdated even though I keep my meds current on MyChart which is their program. It also told me to visit my regular doctor for a follow-up the following week. They listed and sent a referral to my Gynecologist as the doctor to see for my thumb...REALLY?? They even asked me to confirm the name of my general doctor when I checked in. GOOD: The medical staff was great and attentive to my needs once I was seen and also the triage staff too. UNKNOWN: I haven't rec'd the bill yet which is always a shock whenever I have gone to SVMH in the past for any type of procedure and I have great insurance and they know it. read more

What a joke! They literally should close their ER until they get the construction done. This has been going on for years. Told to park one place and then ordered to move my car somewhere else. I could hardly breathe. The triage in the parking lot has so many uneven surfaces it is a law suit waiting to happen. Mixed emotions on the staff. Some very nice others indifferent. This review for is for the outpatient imaging center by the parking garage, I can't find a separate Yelp page for them. I'll start with the good--the place is clean and the staff was very friendly. But there seems to be a disconnect between them and their doctors at Prime Care and it's causing unnecessary delays that seriously affect patients! I go to Prime Care and my doctor ordered an ultrasound due to some pain I've been having. I was told that the order would be sent to the imaging center and the center would call me to schedule the appointment. I waited 2 weeks and they never called me. I should have called after 1 week so I take part of the blame here. So I called the imaging center after 2 weeks and they said that my dr had ordered the ultrasound and the next available ultrasound appointment was 6 weeks away! Not much I can do so I scheduled it for 6 weeks out. Had the ultrasound last week, no complaints, I was told to arrive at 7:30 for a 7:45 ultrasound. Was in and out so fast I had time to stop at my house around the corner to make a cup of coffee and make it in to work by 8:30am! HOWEVER. I got my results that day--they saw a spot on my liver, likely benign and the radiologist wants to do a cat scan just to be sure. I was told I would receive a call to schedule it. Tomorrow is 1 week since the ultrasound and they haven't called me!!!! Do you see the problem? How many people have a serious health problem they need to have diagnosed but it gets delayed because they are told to wait for a call to set up the appointment and they never get a call? So I will be calling the imaging center tomorrow to hopefully schedule the cat scan. But this is another week that has delayed getting answers while I am still in pain! read more

My review is for the Labor & Delivery department. I had my son at SVMH Sept 2020 during Covid and its new safety procedures. I had a scheduled c section. It was my second birth. I had my first born July 2019 at CHOMP and actually had a horrible experience from the delivery to the billing afterwards. It was a nightmare. This caused me and my husband to switch OB's and hospital for my second born. I can truly say the experience at SVMH was outstanding! Even during the pandemic my husband and I felt that the doctors and nurses at SVMH amazing. They made us feel comfortable and most importantly they delivered my son via c section safe and sound! I was incredibly nervous and anxious about the surgery. It was fast, comfortable and I can't explain enough how amazing the doctors and nurses are. My husband and I are so very thankful and happy that we had our son here. read more

I was admitted to 4th floor room @ 12 midnight from ER. At 1AM a woman was placed in adjacent bed. She screamed continuously from 1-11 AM. I had no sleep rhe entire night. I did not receive as much as, "How are you? What can we do to make you comfortable?" I received no offer to move to another room, though empty beds were available. This review is not and in no way about the rank and file of this hospital. This is all about the ER. It's tiny, a sardine can, suffocating, yoga pants on a cow small. Get the picture! Is this bad planning. Is it possible that it was done on purpose? A 20 by 20 room with maybe 25 chairs? Throw in the hacking, bleeding, crying and the projectile vomiters. Plus the dozen kiddos paying all over you with no supervision. Sweet mind picture isn't it? With a hospital this size and as busy at it is in Salinas, you have to scratch your head. Right! This hospital is better than Natividad in terms of care. I absolutely hate Natividad but wow is it expensive and I have insurance. I've never seen any hospital or lab anywhere charge $1,500 for a regular Comprehensive Metabolic Panel!! I had to pay 2,500 for a visit to the ER. I only went because my MD Live Doctor recommended I go. I had a UTI and acid, thats it! I honestly could have waited till the next day and gone to Urgent care instead. I was sent to the ER from URGENT CARE to get CAT scan with contrasting day. How ever I was not able to get this done. I was not allowed to park anywhere in or around the ER. The traveling nurse, Lisa i Believe you made me laugh the entire time while not being able to breath that well. The triage nurse, damn you work fast but very caring! A giant thank you to Doctor Gregorios, Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital, and the dozens of nurses, anesthesiologists, surgery assistants, cooks, custodial staff and others who gave me a first class experience at the hosptal. Having knee replacement surgery was frightening, but the svmh team made it not just comfortable but kind and even pleasurable. Everyone was gentle and professional and the food was beyond excellent. I was a patient on a Friday night post dog bite to my left hand. The ER ED staff met that great combination of right on clinical expertise and professional empathetic bedside manner. The physician assistant was like me professional medical provider, I am RN CS FNP and cover a local clinic. BTW we make the worst patients lol. He was thorough and spot on in his care. So keep up the good work. Major Mike PS update, as a retired US Army Major I earned my Tri-Care for Life. Plus MediCare. I was a bit confused/confounded about why I still was being billed from the Salinas Valley Emergency Medical Group for the physician assistant who I have nothing but high praises as noted before. MediCare didn't pay any for services rendered by the PA-C. Tricare also did not pay either. With this being said, the financial counselor at the hospital was very helpful and directed me on what to do with my $480 bill. So thanks for the assistance. Your ER/ED still deserve an "atta-boy" and a five star rating. PS PS I would be remiss if I didn't mention Brandon and Elizabeth with the collection agency with Salinas Valley Emergency Medical Group based out of Monterey. This was my first time experience with a collection agency. They are looking into this mystery on why MediCare and Tri-Care didn't pay my bill. They were both professional and caring. Heck they even listened to my war stories delivering combat medical care in Afghanistan and Iraq. Thanks again for your ears. FYI I have my congressman Devin Nunez looking into this also. I pay MediCare $400 several times a year for coverage and not to mention tricare for life after service to my Country for 23years. read more

I received a phone call for my MRI and was told to come in on a certain date and time. I show up and then I was told the schedule was for the next day. I asked for a copy of the phone call record, they have nothing. Waste of my time taking time off from work. I highly recommend having a follow up or confirmation system from the MRI DEPARTMENT. read more

1Star is an OVER RATING! Pretty darn sad to see all the 1/2 star ratings. It's shamefully true!! I am thoroughly disappointed in reading these reviews and disgusted that I can relate to them. The ER is absolutely below par in comparison to a 3rd world country. The waiting room. The patient rooms. Attitude of staff. Not least to mention the uncleanliness ! I had to wonder about the confidence in the medical staff as well. It was a horrid experience Like many of you my Medical insurance will pay out like a broken slot machine for nothing. Absolutely nothing. Incompetency at it's highest. Will never go back there. Would never recommend this Health Care facility. No instructions for care at home nothing a big nothing. My wife had our son here, and we had an excellent experience. COVID-19 has made everything more difficult, but the staff was professional and courteous, even at 2200 and 2330 on Friday night when we were admitted with contractions (first time they went away!). Our OBGYN was awesome (Dr. Meisner), and all of the many nurses that helped us were professional and compassionate through the stress and challenges of labor. After moving to Mother and Baby, my wife (and I, but she matters more here) continued to have an excellent experience. The nurses, cleaning staff, social workers, and the rest of the team contributed to an excellent experience for our fourth child. At every step of the way, the nurses explained what and why the tests, immunizations, and everything was for. The food was also pretty good! All in all, a very good experience. read more
