October 2024: the right leg is still unchanged, I can't see any issues with it (actually I never…read morehave) but the left leg now is far worse, both above and below the knee, with prominent bulging unsightly veins, noticeably protruding from the leg far more than they ever did before treatment. I also have new circulation issues in my left foot and ankle, causing significant swelling, more severe peripheral neuropathy, and continuous debilitating pain 24/7 that pain meds don't touch. I can't state with a positive certainty that the painful ankle and foot swelling and related crippling foot pain is absolutely related to the vein treatment, I had minor tingling and foot numbness in both feet due to neuropathy prior to this treatment, and this pain only started in the last 3 months after I lost 30 lbs and started exercising more, but to me there's a correlation, if not causation. In short I wish I had never done any vein treatments at all. Ask yourself how cosmetically bad your unsightly vein problem might be, and realize you're rolling the dice and there's a chance that any treatment (with any Doctor) will actually make the problem worse.

After the test, the nurse told my mother--without first consulting with the EKG technician--that she could walk to the ER on her own. To do so, my mother was required to leave the room, walk down four - five steps, and then climb an additional five to six steep steps, without any assistance from staff. The nurse simply pointed in the direction of the ER, offering no help or concern for her condition. Like she worked at Home Depot! I stopped my mother from continuing and asked where patient care was in that moment. Despite being told I could not accompany her, I assisted my mother up the stairs myself because I did not feel it was safe for her to do so alone. Our family lost a loved one just last night to a heart attack, which made this experience especially distressing and unacceptable. This situation left me feeling angry, concerned, and deeply disappointed in the level of care and compassion shown. If it wasn't for the triage nurse I would defently have given it a 1 or 0 if I could have!
