He has cared for my hands/wrist (carpal tunnel and trigger fingers) and did a hip replacement on me in 2012. The office itself is new and comfortable. The front desk staff is polite and attends to your needs as quickly as they can. I do wish that physicians would utilize RNs for patient care, because medical assistants just do not have the knowledge to make relevant observations regarding patients, their needs or complaints. I have had painful office procedures (diagnostic and therapeutic injections) and Dr. Heyne performed those competently and gently. I never got the feeling he was hurrying me along, and he'd stop during a procedure in order for me to regain my wits. My hip surgery was carried out using the less invasive anterior (near the groin) approach. My only complaint, and this is not the doctor's fault, but I was booted out of the hospital way too quickly after my procedure.

I believe Connor was my PA, and I was very satisfied with his diagnosis and explanations of what to expect going forward. Six days post injury I was in surgery with Dr. Mark C Howard at the surgery center in Monterey. I was very nervous as it was my first major surgery. The nurses and staff at the surgery center were great at my bedside and helped me relax. Following a successful surgery I was routed to physical therapy. Kevin was my main PT Doctor and he supported me on my journey even when I didn't have faith in myself. My daughter has a permanent foot condition and because of a coding issue a staff member said a new referral was needed. After numerous phone calls I was promised, a supervisor never received one and on the last call back the employee Mira just stated oh well that's it was coded as a new problem and that's the way it will stay. She then said a supervisor cancelled my daughter's appointment, I told her I did not authorize that, and then received an email 10 minutes later stating patient requested a cancellation! What a waste of time for not only my family, but Dr. Inlow and my daughters regular physician, that confirmed no new referral was needed.
