When visiting dermatologists in the past, I would often spend more time with the nurse than the actual doctor. Dr. Edwards entered the room, sat and listened to my acne life story from beginning to end. Her genuine concern and determination to provide a lasting solution was so comforting. The initial regimen she subscribed didn't provide the results she was satisfied with, so on the next few visits she tweaked the regimen until she was satisfied with the results. But the visits weren't all about her satisfaction! Dr. Edwards informed me that she was quite the perfectionist and told me to slow her down or say pause if it seemed like she was seeking perfection beyond my comfort zone. As months went by, my face totally cleared up. I've suffered with acne off and on since I was 15 years old and my face has NEVER looked this good. I've had a clear face before, but there would always be bumps under the surface. My complexion is as close to flawless as I've ever experienced. In my first visit, I was almost in tears due to the severity of my acne. I would cry myself to sleep each night and didn't want to leave the house during the day. My most recent visit to Dr. Edwards left both of us hugging each other and feeling relieved at how much my life had changed as a result of her efforts to clear my skin. I looked far better before receiving treatment. I was told me an excuses about the dents which were honestly insulting to my intelligence. Such as they were there before, this happens when you get older, it's a change to the color of your skin and so on. After this I did not want to receive treatments to fix the dents and unevenness as I could not trust somebody who is very clearly being dishonest directly to my face. The point is I did not have those issues before receiving treatment, therefore the treatment caused those issues. When I said I was leaving she actually stood in my way and refused to move even when asked, preventing me from leaving the office. She shifted her body at one point which allowed me to I grab my bag and leave. I'm sure there's many things she can do well but I do not receive such treatment. I also wasn't even refunded any money, so I paid nearly 2k and ended up looking worse than I did before receiving treatment.

The location is along a very main street (Viers Mill Road) and very busy cross street (Randolph Road) and backs up to residential neighborhood that's all surprisingly heavily trafficked. The parking lot is also strange. I've never before seen parking spots perpendicular to the normal row of parking spots at a Walgreens, and I felt wrong to park that way but I did anyway. I expected it to be busy inside given all of the cars in the parking lot, but it was a very quick in-and-out experience. The cashier was friendly, knowledgeable, and knew the point-of-sale system. It's always nice when employees are well trained. The interior was clean, the shelves well stocked, and the aisles easy to maneuver!
