During the consultation, we discussed two ways in which the appearance of my scar might be improved, but it was was clear that Dr. Krasniak preferred to perform the seemingly riskier, more expensive option (surgery) rather than trying (as a first step) a less invasive, apparently safer procedure. After I expressed my concerns about having another surgery, particularly for cosmetic reasons, he remained steadfast. Throughout the visit, I had the impression that he was concerned not with providing quality care but with performing the most lucrative procedure. Postscript: After the consultation, I sought a second opinion. I am currently receiving the very treatment that Dr. Krasniak suggested would be ineffective with good results. I am working with a physician whose expertise I trust. My advice: Do your research and get a second opinion.

One form was troubling, their "Office Policies", it said they had a fine for not cancelling your appointment more than 24 hours in advance, the fine was $50. It also said the patient was responsible for lawyers the dentist would use in going after a past due bill. This last part was crazy in that they expected to be paid on the day of service. I printed my name on the form, but didn't sign. I told the receptionist about this when returning the forms. She said she needed to talk to the dentist and left. He came out looking confrontational and asked me "What can I do for you?, as if the receptionist didn't let him know the situation. He finally said that the forms needed to be filled out before he would see me. I said that I would pass on that and that I would take the forms home to shred since my info was on them. He started to tear the forms up and then tried to hand them to me. At that point I said "You get rid of them" and left.

Aly (shift lead) and Justin (manager-in-training) were professional, patient, and proactive from start to finish. I was trying to figure out how to use my Walgreens Cash rewards, and they walked me through it step-by-step with zero attitude, even though it required extra verification and a couple extra taps on the register. Despite limited staffing at the front, they kept everything moving smoothly and stayed calm the whole time.
