EXCELLENT beauty supply store. It's not very big, and I don't come here very often, but I have been having recurring issues with finding reliable razors in Vegas. About six months, I bought an electric razor at Sally's and it still works like new. I actually did have a minor issue with my razor two weeks ago, but thankfully the nice woman at the counter was able to rectify the problem. In record time, I might add. The people working here have always been WONDERFUL- but Sally's company needs a wrist slapping. 15$ for a bottle of red nail polish was just more than I expected when I walked in, and that was after I applied my store discount. I like this location. It is near to a lot of the shops I frequent, and this Sally's has its own parking lot out of the way of other traffic. They always have what I need, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Their rewards card, at only $5 per year, offers many discounts. You also get a $5 coupon for the following week once you pay or renew your card. Great deal! I like the variety of hair colors as well as their Generic Value Products hair care. read more

I hate that walking into Sally's is always uncomfortable. The workers seem to always be in their own private conversations. If you need help you would literally have to interrupt their convo to get their attention. It's just weird. read more

I stopped in on a spur of the moment whim. I had been looking for a specific item and thought they would possibly have it. This location of Sally's seems smaller than some others. It is still very organized and clean. Of course they carry a multitude of hair products and styling gadgets. You can also find a wide variety of nail products along the right wall. Service here was good. The lady had helped me find exactly what I needed. She was polite, professional and efficient. My shopping excursion was successful here. Today is most likely the last time I will give Sally's Beauty Supply my business. I have gone there since I was little girl and I never considered other options. I have been going to this particular Sally's for four years and today the was the final straw in canceling this company. Every time I go there the current manager always ask me what I am looking for. When I let her know my needs she immediately directs me to a Sally's that is further from my home because she says that Sally's doesn't carry what I want because of demographics in the area. Pretty much they do not carry what I need at my local store because I am black. God forbid they attract African Americans that live five minutes away to their store because statistically we don't live in nice areas. Obviously the manager cannot change the way that Sally's operates but the manager openly says it every time I come in, like she doesn't remember me. It feels impersonal and pretty much like she is trying to get me to go to the other Sally's. It's borderline discriminatory . Today I made a return and she loudly said that the nail polishes I returned were used and then threw them in the trash can dramatically. She could have thrown them away in a softer manner and not emphasized the fact that they were used, when they they were going to return them either way. Overall I will not give this company my business anymore. They are company who bases their product inventory off of unhealthy statistics and systematic racism. They are absolutely loud about it every single time I come in the store. Ever since Covid hit their inventory is slim anyways. Thank you, Next! read more

This review is specifically for a shining star of an employee named Aaron! Never in my life have I experienced such great customer at a Sallys! The girls that the company hires to work in the store have such bad attitudes and don't ever want to help customers that actually need help. I've complained to corporate and it's fallen on deaf ears :/ However, I've been to this location twice and haven't had any bad experiences compared to all of the horrible employees that work in the OC locations -__- I came in last week looking for some hair dye, I really didn't know what I was looking for just a basic idea of color I wanted but had no idea what products I needed at all LOL! I was a lost puppy! Luckily Aaron walked me through everything and told me what kind I would need especially with having darker colored hair. This guy really knows his stuff, I don't know why the rest of the employees can't be trained like him! Even though he was the only one working at the time he still was able to help me and ring people up. This guy definitely deserves praises, he should be a shining example of how all the employees need to be trained. I purchase some clippers on Sunday January 19th, 2020. When I got to work, I opened up the box and picked up my clippers. Coming to find out that it was rattling. So I took it back to the store and told them that it shouldn't rattle like this. I understand the store policy with sales are final. However, I have never used it on a client. I am not trying to return them. I just want an exchange. The lady gave me a shrug saying there is nothing we can do. I am very upset because I can not exchange my clippers because they stole me something that is broken. After I just purchased it same day. Lol people are annoying. I don't know how this location only has three and a half stars ! The young gentleman working this morning was very helpful and nice. I rather come to this location than any other ! Everything is neat and tidy compared to all the other salons, my shoes even squeaked on the floors. I LOVE Sally's (I do hair and it's a lot easier to go down the street to Sally's than it is to go across town to cosmoprof when I have last minute appointments) however, this is by far the WORST Sally's I have ever been to. I went in today in a beanie, a sweater and yoga pants. I went in for synthetic extensions for a cosplay wig and hair dye. I was literally followed around the store like I was going to steal -_- I ignored it and continued shopping. I wanted to do a split transaction (my stuff on my card, the extensions on the clients card who happens to be my cousin) she got all huffy and said "well, now I have to void the entire thing" ummm, I'm sorry that A) your pos is old or that B) you are incompetent. I then decided I didn't want the eyeshadow I was going to get because the first time she rang it up wrong and the second time she was pissy. She then voided out my transaction again instead of just voiding out the eyeshadow. I have 2 stars because it had a lot of hair color to choose from. I will not be back and I do not recommend going to this Sally's. read more
