I was profiled in their store by an older Arab or Indian man (excuse my ignorance but idk his ethnicity) probably in like his 60s is my guess. The first time, he comes on my aisle and starts shuffling boxes on the top shelf, like right next to me, says hi, I say hi back, fine. The second time, he goes to the aisle next to me, shuffling boxes on the top shelf again, comes back around to where I am. I mean, he is literally doing nothing. The THIRD time I am on another aisle, he comes to go to the back room, making a lot of noise and looks at me again, so I literally ask him to his face is he following me. Of course he says "no maam, he was just (whatever he said)" then goes back. By the time I am up front he is back up front again, shocker... I understand thieves exist and cost retailers money, but they have now lost a customer that has spent A LOT of money at their store in the past. I won't ever shop there again. Keep that up and you can guarantee all you have left in your store are the actual thieves, because those of us that actually come to spend money don't appreciate the disrespect.

After a few minutes, she walked over and gave me some "pros" and "cons" of beauty waxes that they carry. She listened more than she talked and really took the time to help me with my purchase. I'm happy to have had the chance to walk into this beauty supply store and this nice young lady (sorry, I didn't catch your name - but you were the young one who told me there was a middle schooler at a nail salon that did you nails one day..) really made my day. However, I start looking around and asked 2 workers if they could tell me when the sale was ending, one of them sized me up and then answered with such sarcasm that whenever they ran out and kind of turned her back. She wore a name tag that read "firecracker". She was a black woman with a lot of jewelry and short hair. Seemingly the "lead" for the day, who I later found out was named Tee, was with her when I asked and didn't respond much better. Nonetheless, I let it go because people need their jobs. Get to the register and "firecracker" was there again oozing attitude and sass. Again, you're free to be you, but her attitude was disgusting and she truly seemed to be working to emulate the name "firecracker". As I was leaving I asked the greeter to speak with a manager and it was Tee. As I spoke, she's just looking at me as if to say "what do you want me to do". I said if you're not the right person then I will contact the manager. She finally responded with a "thanks for letting me know". They need to get it together because there are many who need a job and are willing to act like they have some sense.

Bring Cash or they will steal money off your Apple Pay!…read more I went to this store today and bought $43.93 in items. I used Apple Pay for the purchase and was given a receipt that showed $43.93. However, before leaving I checked my Apple Wallet app to verify the transaction and found that they had added $30 extra dollars to the transaction for a total of $73.93!!! I went to the cashier and showed him the transaction and he got all nervous and said that he must have hit a wrong button! How can a wrong button have been hit if you gave me a final receipt showing $43.93??? He said he needed to call someone to credit back the $30 but I could go ahead and leave. Mind you, he had taken my original receipt back. I told him and would wait and that he could go ahead and refund the entire order. I waited and held onto the purchased items until he handed me a receipt showing the $73.93 refund & I verified my Apple Wallet app showed the refund. I'll never set foot in this place again and I would suggest others do the same. However, if you feel like you must go here, "BRING CASH!"

I decided to pop in on a Sunday afternoon in search of a baby bonnet and immediately noticed how neat and organized the store was. The guy that worked the counter was very friendly and took the time to help me find the bonnets so I can make a selection. I also ended up picking up a brush. Although the kids bonnet ended up being too big for the baby, it was still one I could use, so it was not a complete fail for me. While checking out, the cashier let me know that they can also help order items for me that they may not have in stock currently when I asked about a black owned braiding hair option that does not have the same chemicals as the typical pre-stretched braiding hair. This truly stuck out to me and this along with the great customer service would be my reason to come back and support the next time I am in the area.
