First, let me start off by saying how Sally is always been My first go to when I would like to change some thing about my hair. Last week. I was very indecisive about what I wanted to do with my hair color. I met Kaitlyn who was more than just informational and attentive, but straight up awesome! I brought my not listening two year old in with me who was all over the place. Kaitlyn was super understanding. My daughter also broke two nail polish and Kaitlyn wasn't mad. She just handled the situation better than I could've ever have imagined!! The manager. Miss Ashley is lovely. I adore her. Every time I've been there I don't feel rushed. That establishment is clean these women have made me feel at home. When I come there. Every single time. I feel like they have become my friends. Not just some people. I know at Sally's. lol.. If I could give 100 stars I would!! P.s I was in Sally's with My. Anise of hair like six times in two days. I return like two or three products. Kaitlyn gave me no issues. She even helps me out and we got through the process of figuring out whatever it was that I want it even Miss Ash was trying to help me when I tell you. The 5 stars for this review goes to Chan and her OUTSTANDING customer-centered approach to her job. Right off the bat she demonstrated true concern for what I needed by asking open ended questions to ascertain what I truly needed. I thought I knew what I needed but her expertise proved otherwise. She explained the various products, how to best use them and what the benefits are for each. At the end of the discussion I felt well informed and was able to get the best products for what I needed. I came here for the first time yesterday and today to get some hair supplies for myself. The workers were very helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to hair dyes. I was looking for a specific shades and how to use the proper toners. I purchased the Wella T18 ash blonde to tone my brassy hair. Which didn't do much in the first try. I came back the next day and the front desk lady advised me to bleach it, which I should have done but didn't the first time. Long story short, I was able to achieve a close look to what I'm looking for. I haven't been to this location yet but I have to the one in orange park. This one is much more organized and bigger. I love that they no longer charge the $5 fee to join the member club, so it's completely free to join now. The guy that signed me up was new but he was pretty helpful. I got my $10 bonus in my email the night I signed up so I was able to use it right away the next day. All of the products here are pretty affordable and they usually mail out magazines and flyers monthly for their sale items. Since I'm a cosmotogist, I also get more discount after signing up, the wella toner ended up being less than $5, can't beat that price. Such a great place for all beauty products, highly recommended. Has a couple of nice staff, but allegedly has no manager and one particularly rude and nasty worker. Was checking out some of their shears and was scolded for taking a pair off the hook with these sliding rubber/plastic rings on them. Looked like it was only there to keep things from falling off the hook, came off easily, and was approached and scolded at for taking the scissors off to purchase because you had to ask an associate to "unlock it" (there was no lock). There was no sign, except for two red looking rings on 2/25 of the shears that actually said "ask associate for help". None of the rest had anything of the sort, nor were they locked. read more

The place is very nice but I didn't like this Sally's store in particular. The person who charges is very bad. I felt that because I'm Hispanic she was like that... very unprofessional. They shouldn't have people like that working with the public because they ruin someone's day. read more

Came to buy some hair color here and picked up a few other items as well. Somehow everything but the hair color itself ended up in my bag which meant I had to return to grab what I actually went in for. No big deal-- it happens. We all make mistakes. However, there was zero effort to make any of this any better. Besides a "I have no idea how that happened, I'm sorry". Not even a "hey here's this bag you can get if you spent $50 (I spent $40 on the first trip and $12 on the second trip I had to make there because of a mistake the cashier made). So then, when I asked about it, she explained that I had to spend $50 all in one receipt. Ineptitude or lack of customer service? We will never know. read more

Sally Beauty Supply store is a good place to buy salon quality hair products at least 40% less then at the salon! I find their staff is knowledgeable about hair products that I may want to us. They of course have hair dryers, curling irons and such plus nail polishes, some make up, all kinds of combs, hair brushes, etc. It's fun to just walk around and see what they have! read more

Chan, if you're reading this: you are a bitter a** girl and have a nasty attitude towards people. You need a job that allows for complete isolation and away from people SINCE YOU DONT KNOW HOW TO TALK TO THEM. This woman Chan/Sean or whatever talked to my mom like she was a five year old just cause my mom if foreign with an accent and my mom called her out for being rude and then took the products my mom was trying to buy and threw them on the ground and told her she wasn't buying them and that's when my sister stepped in and put her in her place for being nasty and she tried to come around the counter to fight my underaged sister, luckily for Chan someone stopped her or my sister would've showed her what's up. I had a very bad experience with this location. I've always shopped a Sally beauty supplies but this one is definitely a location I will not be returning to! My husband went to Sally to buy me one package of quick blue powder bleach. He was told by an employee that they are out of quick blue. He called to tell me and I said to him to get whatever was comparable to the powder packet. The employee convinced him that the only comparable thing the the packet was "ion" sally brand $12 tube of bright white. I called Sally and spoke with the employee and explained that this $12 tube that she sold to my husband is not comparable to the four dollar powder packet and I would be back in to return it. She instructed me that they do not do returns but she would put a packet on the counter for me to come back and purchase! First of all the people that are working at Sally beauty have minimal at best experience in cosmetology. They should not be giving chemical recommendations, not to mention they have absolutely no customer service skills whatsoever. This young girl was extremely rude to me during our conversation. She over talked me and even laughing at me at one point. What happened to the customer is always right? I also believe that they get kickbacks for selling the "ion" brand. I wouldn't be surprised if they pull comparable products in order to sell the "Ion" brand. I usually don't write reviews, but this one was a must. I'm appalled by the complete lack of respect for the customer and the underhandedness the employees are instructed by the Sally Corporation. read more

The staff is so mean . During Covid-19 i went inside without a mask and a black girl with blonde curly hair part of the staff ask me if i have a mask and i told her no , she look at me and she was like Get out using her finger on my face . I felt so bad and she didn't care if i was filling bad .
