There was one sales associate working and she was helping another customer so I had to wait about five minutes or more. No matter, but it would've been nice for her to acknowledge me while I was waiting. It was easy to tell that I knew what I wanted because I had my product in my hand as I waited, but she didn't even look at me. The woman she was helping was offered tea, of which I was never offered during my visit. While I waited I checked out some products of which I could have been sold possibly had the associate spent a moment of her time with me, other than ringing me up. A little customer service goes a long way and even if I didn't look like I could afford a big sale, you cannot judge a book by its cover, young lady. With a little attention she could've made the store three times what I bought. I will continue to purchase the few Aveda items which I cannot live without, but I won't forget the cold slight cold shoulder

There's always a demo going on so you can try the latest greatest. On a recent visit the staff was exceptionally helpful - I had bought an item at the airport store and gone to return it within minutes but couldn't because the manager needed to be there and she was away. I was assured that I could return it at any Aveda store later. This turned out to be wrong information - I could get store credit, not a refund. The Southdale staff member was very understanding of my annoyance. This is what outstanding customer service looks like. Aveda has lost its cruelty free bunny because it will test on animals in countries that require it. This is making me reconsider my relationship with Aveda products.

I was curious and joined the lineup. While waiting in line, a woman from Lush was handing out samples. I grabbed one. I normally don't shop at Lush stateside. It's a Canadian company and my local Lush store is fifteen minutes away from me. I tend to do a lot of damage whenever I'm in that store, similar to The Body Shop. I was looking at my photos and saw my Lush sampler. I realized that I should write about this store. What I got was Lush's snow fairy body lotion. It's cool that you see the person's first name who created the batch on the bottom of the container. The person also has the person's ID number that makes you wonder whether it's his inmate ID or Lush employee number. Snow fairy is pink. The colour either reminds you of strawberry pudding, or the colour of getting teeth moulds for retainers or night guards. I know that it's quite the memory spectrum, but those were the first two thoughts that crossed my mind when I saw this pink. It also explains why I don't work for Pantone. Can you imagine? Pantone 1414. Mouth guard pink. The smell of this body lotion is nostalgic. It was like going to The Ex in Toronto or some fair. I'd be chewing on bubble gum. When that flavour died, I got rid of it and had cotton candy. I'd then get a vanilla ice cream cone. It's all of those scents rolled into this body lotion -- bubble gum, cotton candy, and vanilla. I loved it. It absorbed quickly. It didn't feel greasy on my skin. So good. I dig Ridgedale Center. I was there a couple of times last month. Although I don't need anything at Lush when I'm away from home, as Dick's Sporting Goods and Urban Outfitters tend to catch the most attention for me at this mall, I do like this Lush store. It's on the second floor, diagonally across from Urban Outfitters. It's cheerful and inviting. It was brilliant to have Lush provide samples that day. The female staffer was so friendly and pleasant. It was a nice touch. If I were in need of anything at Lush while I'm in town, I'd come here. (90)

The store location is clean and of course the smell is great. We were the only customers in the store and nobody said anything to us. One staff was standing behind the desk while the other was washing a bowl out by the sink. It took us a bit to find what we were looking for and I would have asked but they seemed to busy to help us. The store was stocked well but it was confusing trying to find what we wanted. Once it was time to check out the staff member threw in some random samples and said thank you . I still have no clue what the product samples she threw in are for lol.

Until then I'll stop by the Galleria and sample some of the Cherry Blossom lotion and buy another tube with the fancy key to roll it up for my purse. Plus some travel sized items for when I travel. A friendly sales woman came over to inquire if I needed assistance. Well I had spoken to a lady on the phone and she had said that I could make an appointment at 9 am…read moreso then I go there and it's not even open, I waited till 10 then they had opened but the door was locked. When they had unlocked the door I said I was there for an install. I get in the chair and the person doing my hair did not talk to me the entire time, she had been talking to another staff member in the other room. When she was doing my install she didn't even measure my hairline she just cut the lace on a mannequin and then she didn't even hide the bald cap I was wearing when she glued on the wig and the wig didn't even fit around my ears because she didn't cut around my ears, I was so dissatisfied I should have just gone to the place in the mall of America like I did last time atleast they actually made it look good. Oh my gosh I almost forgot, when she asked me if I wanted the wig sewn in I asked how much that would be and she was like "she didn't tell you when you walked in?" And I replied no. So then she was on the phone and after the call she said come to the register and then I had paid 85$ for a crappy install and the wig not sewn in. I regret tipping. I had to cut the lace around my ears when I had gotten home and glue down the parts that weren't even glued down. I had also noticed that they had LEFT A 2 CLIPS IN MY HAIR. So I would not recommend this place. Just go to the one in MOA they do such a better job AND they actully talk to their customers.
