This is SO not the case with Jazmine and Rachel!!! They are so amazing at what they do. Jazmine has somehow given my hair life solely with a hair trim every time I go in. Jazmine also was so awesome to recommend a halo extension brand to me and had me bring it in to cut it to my hair, she didn't remove length but added some needed layers and blended it seamlessly into my hair. Rachel is incredible at natural color. She dealt with my nerves from a previous nightmare of a color last year by offering a consultation first. She's also very honest with what she can accomplish and put me at ease from the moment we discussed what I wanted. Disastrous attempts at plucking throughout high school? That was my emergency. So I gave her a shot and oh I'm so glad I did! When untamed, my eyebrows are seriously out of control and I start to look like my very italian Dad who, you know, looks fine with those eyebrows because he's not a nineteen year old girl. Heidi told me I had very difficult brows and then proceeded to work magic on them to the point where, on the drive home, I couldn't stop checking myself out in the rear view mirror and nearly ran into a bus. Safe! But seriously, they are perfect. The salon is adorable, very welcoming. There's parking on the street all around, even on a Saturday, and no meters. I was offered a drink the second I stepped foot in the door and didn't have to wait at all even though I was twenty minutes early. The waxing itself was extremely comfortable and basically pain free, and they use all natural and organic products so my overly sensitive skin doesn't freak the hell out a few hours after waxing. She provided plenty of tips in handling my hair issues (ever changing the past few years) and great styling tips for my current cut. It was a very successful first appointment and I felt very satisfied with the outcome (first appointments with a new stylist can make me feel a bit nervous). Not the case here. I knew I was in good hands! Alex made a few small changes/corrections to my current cut that were just what I needed. I went in at 4:50 and they wouldn't even try to fit me in. They told me to go back at 9pm! They don't have enough people working there. The times I have gone there and got in, they did ok for my cut but not amazing. Seems they like don't even attempt to get to know you. There were a couple girls there that have cut my hair before and they don't even remember who I am. Just seems like not a great place to walk in. Make an appointment I guess. It really sucks trying to find an actual good stylist that is reliable AND actually wants to get to know their clients. Too bad. Time to find another place.
