This place is horrible I'm a licensed cosmetologist and I don't usually come here just when I'm in a pinch. Online it says they close at 8 so I came in around 6:45 and once I walked in they looked mad so I continued to look for the things I needed and one of the girls said are you ready were closing it was like 6:50 and she was already kicking me out so I proceeded to check out and once I did they continued to clean up and they locked the door so one of the girls unlocked it when I was leaving. I wasn't even out of the door yet when she just shut the door and hit me with it and just said oops sorry and just went inside. I've been to this location twice- the first time when it was busy, and the staff was quickly moving from customer to customer helping them with individual needs. I was given good advice for a problem I've been having with hair products and they recommended a new product that worked out perfectly. Second trip, I forgot what product I had bought last time, but the employee looked up my purchase history through my Sally's card to help me find it, and ensured I didn't need anymore help before returning to her duties at the register. This Sally's is actually very clean & it's decent sized. They offer a great variety on hair care products & the staff is pretty knowledgeable. The only downfall I would say to this store is their lack of variety in nail colors, & make up. Don't get me wrong, they have stuff for everything beauty related (besides clothes if you count that) but I just want to see a tad bit more, just a little. Staff is also very nice and chatty -- That's a good thing especially if you need help! Also, try looking up hair dye ratios, colors and developers before going in just so you have an idea of what color your hair may turn out. She even went out of her way to ask if I had any allergens or if I was picky about certain products to eliminate brands & narrow down the shampoo hunt we were on. Worst customer service!! The associate Jasmine could not have handled this situation any worse. I needed to make a quick exchange and called the store 20 minutes before closing to let her know I was on my way, never answered my call. Arrived before closing and the door was already locked. I asked if I could make my exchange and she wouldn't even bother to come to the door to speak to me. Walked to the back of the store to avoid me. Didn't come back until after closing time and when she saw another customer outside who also needed assistance. Apparently she had taken her membership renewal coupon off of her receipt instead of giving it to her. When I again asked if i could make my exchange she said they were now closed and she couldn't help me. There were still clients in the store and another associate at the register helping her, it should have been no problem processing my return (literally would have taken 2minutes). Her dumb excuse "We're only allowed to keep the registers open for a certain amount of time every day." WTF? I've done my fair share of retail before and that is a load of crap. Rule #1 of customer service: "The customer is ALWAYS right." Wouldn't give me anything but her manager, Jackie's, name. Jackie you need to re-evaluate your employee's customer service skills. I don't usually like to make negative reviews, but I strongly feel this Sally Beauty Supplies needs to be under new management. The only time I feel I'm respected when I go I is when I've mentioned that I'm a professional, before I was licensed or even when I go in to buy something really quick the workers seem miserable and I feel I get talked down to. Every time I've gone in they say that my Sally's card is "Expired", and every they ask me to fill out the information to get a new card.
