I visited this location on a Friday afternoon. It was busy, but surprisingly line was moving fast. This location has better customer service than most of the other Sephora locations. Employees do not show attitude and greet the customers. This store has a huge selection of perfumes and colognes. It also has a huge selection of different make up products. Well, I have to admit I love coming here. I come here at least once every other month I'm a big fan of the Joe Malone, Juliette has a gun, Burberry, dolce and Gabbana, and billions of others because I hate to say it fragrance is a hobby. I sit in the car all day so believe me these fragrances is coming in handy. Great service lots of fun gotta dance around and remember sign up for that rewards program because nobody else does it better hat a wonderful staff. Stopped by Sephora at the Northridge Fashion Mall location on a Tuesday around 12:30pm. This Sephora location was very clean. All the sales associate were so friendly. As soon as I walked in the store, they all greeted me and informed me to just let them know if I need any assistance. I was specifically looking for 4 kinds of perfume. I'm glad I found 2 out of the 4 perfume that I was seeking. I was on a mission to use my 20% off coupon. The young lady that helped me was so nice. She provided great customer service. I'm sorry I didn't get her name. She actually found the Burberry Her Eau De Parfum Intense and the Daisy Marc Jacobs Ever So Fresh Eau De Parfum travel size for me. However, they didn't have the Gucci Flora Gorgeous Magnolia and Dolce & Gabbana Devotion perfumes. I want to give KAT her props. She is an amazing beauty advisor and makeup artist. I was recommended to her to help me to pick out some new products and from beginning to end, she was so amazing. She picked out all of the correct colors. She even used her computer device in her hand to color match. If the color wasn't in, she would get something that was similar to it. And I'm telling you, she was so patient. She even recommended the correct brushes. And she was just awesome, like words cannot express the amount of service. She gave me she was very friendly. She explained everything and if I had questions she didn't turn away from me. She gave me all of her attention, and she was an amazing person . I just wanted to tell people please ensure you look and scan your beauty products using Yuka and OnSkin, lots of chemicals out there in makeup products that are harmful to us and endocrine disrupters. She was looking for a eyebrow color thing and a worker I think named Stella was the person helping her. She tried on different color and give her opinion on the product. Called the store associate didn't say her name.. smart. I'd do the same if I was about to give shitty customer service. Asked about the product.,, she said they have it. I asked if they can put it on hold so I can go pick it up and pay for it. She slipped up and said oh I don't know how many we have I was just told we have it. So I said,' oh ok. The make up better than I expected and will definitely be going back to the same artist. Now for my second review. She looked like she hated her job and when we asked for a color match she just strokes each color on my friends face without blending.( with attitude) I mean If you hate your job so much, just quit. I very rarely write reviews, but this particular encounter was truly extraordinary, and I have Dennis to thank! A lot of the time going into Sephora is very overwhelming and so asking any kind of question can feel uncomfortable or bothersome but I had questions. I am recovering from Hashimoto's, so I don't have eyebrows and when I use waterproof brows it's really hard to take it off the next day and so I needed a really good make up remover. I asked a few people in Sephora and they weren't helpful and acted like I was a bother but then I saw Dennis walking over I squirmishly asked him if there was any way I could try the product to make sure that it worked because Of my condition. Dennis truly listened and was extremely thorough, very thoughtful, and also provided information on why he was suggesting clinic, take the day off and dermatological pro cleanse. It's extraordinary people like this Who help you, listen to you and clearly love what they do with a passion to be able to assess exactly what you need. Walked into the store to buy rare beauty, this is the only reason i shop here because they carry this brand. However from previous experience and yesterdays, I will continue to avoid this store. Employee Hazel was rude and stated we may be in trouble for grabbing a shade from the drawer below. However no one was willing to assist us until we grabbed our own products. Hazels demeanor was so unprofessionally delivered and her statements made were threatening. As we left the store unhappy and left all our products she still continued to follow us to the front of the store and ask if we had a problem. Yes ofc we had a problem you were disrespectful and created a terrible enviorment to shop. This really isn't my favorite Sephora location, as the other Yelpers state that they need more training in customer service. I had an appointment to get my makeup done and I was introduced to Yesid. Someone told me that if I wanted my eyes to be done right, that he is the man to go to! Yesid greeted me and gave me a quick consultation on what I was looking for. He grabbed makeup that he himself knew were good for my skin type and tone and for to work. Yesid is the type of guy that you feel like you've known forever, like an old friend he made the time go by fast while working. He was telling me what he was doing and what he was blending, really informative with the products as well. We had a great conversation and I felt like he was very genuine, being professional and friendly came easy to him. My experience at this Sephora location was so and so. The beginning was awful the greeter didn't have the best of attitude plus I told her I needed suggestions on a good heat protector for my hair and she literally tells me to stand in the corner and wait, I waited a few minutes and no one came to attend to me which was weird so I walked around a bit until I came across a worker named Bruno I believe was his name. He had a great attitude and was helpful and fast on narrowing down suggestions for my request. The register experience was nice as well I forgot her name but she was nice. I suggest maybe having someone in the front to greet customers to have a better attitude and are willing to help guests because that's what starts out the mood for the shopping experience. Do not schedule a makeup appointment here EVER! I scheduled an appt - and they rescheduled the time twice without asking me first. It was inconvenient but wasn't too bad, as I was able to make it work. But then the NIGHT before my event, Nayeli called to cancel my appointment due to an emergency that came up with the makeup artist. I understand that happens, but she was so careless with the way she told me, and they had no backup plan either. Someone I know that works at another Sephora location said that on weekends they are required to have two makeup artists due to situations like this. Understood in the condescending way she spoke to me was that I was old and know nothing about makeup. She showed me one product. I looked and found what I was looking for after a bit. The.
