Awesome spot! Quiet and not crazy busy. Barbers are quick and give a great haircut and pay attention to you if you don't like something. They cut my twins hair and made them feel important as they were talking with them about things they liked. Hours are awesome too since they are open on sat and sun and all days till 7pm. So as a long time resident of Woodcrest I have always heard and seen how great the work is from Sally's Barber Shop. As a Hair Stylist I have a fond appreciation for the art of barbering. Cosmetologist and Barbers are two very different makes... Still family... But different makes. I took My little boy to Sally's because I wanted him to have a Real Barbers hair cut. Hector took my son right away and got to work. Hector was really cool and mellow. Hector was able to achieve a perfect fade on my very squirmy little boy. The work is Great! Nestled in a small and charmingly outdated strip mall, the address reads Riverside, but the unincorperated area of Woodcrest might as well be a world away. All horse property and agricultural land,similar to Fallbrook, Sally's caters to many cowboys, welders, ranchers, mechanics and any other blue collar worker you could think of. These people want look good, not pay much and have better things to do then fuss over thier hair each morning. If proosing the huge array of mag's isn't how you want to pass the time during your short wait, check out one of the many flatscreens she has up and going or just listen and you'll hear all the latest local gossip. If I really sound like I'm pumped about this place, it's because I am. We moved here a few years ago and I left a great barber. I got tired of making the 30 plus mile trek back to see her and going through a series of bad hair cuts didn't sound like fun. I had did a walk in for a normal haircut. It was 15$ for the cut and I'm looking at my hair now , and it's one of the worse cuts I've got. My hair is uneven I have little spots that are longer . The hair behind my ear is sticking out . I'm just not happy with this cut and especially for the price . I pay 15$ for a taper with a line up not a normal haircut . Will not be going back anytime soon read more
