I read extension reviews and take what people say about their experiences to heart about professionalism, hair texture, customer service and quality when they have dealt with certain hair companies. But, after speaking with Angel and determining that she was extremely professional and had a great sense of humor, I purchased hair from her. I will be honest about my experience because during the pandemic, I taught myself how to dye hair using You Tue and let's just say, there was the good, the bad and the ugly LOL. Even though I colored my multiple bundles during the pandemic, the hair did not mat, shed or tangle ever and for that I am grateful. As a result, I kept all of my hair, colors and all that I purchased from her and when I finally found someone to sew it in and or make a wig for me, all of it has stood the test of time. By that I mean, I have had hair from Tresses for almost two years now and have had several wigs and some sew-ins done. The hair has not shedded, holds color very well and I am still a loyal customer of Tresses. I also have to thank the stylists that corrected my You Tube directed colors LOL. Not only was I disappointed in the damage that resulted from being over processed but I was charged much more than I was accustomed to paying and the amount I was quoted. I was prepared to pay $205, however I was charged $382! Talk about being shocked. And she stated she had given me a 25% discount. I was in such shock I wish I'd disputed the charges. It looked like I did a box dye job. I went back to have my roots melted (smudge, shadow) and I left dark and feeling a little better... HOWEVER... my haircut is ATROCIOUS. Melissa does not know what she is doing when she is cutting short hair. It is choppy all over. I am unable to straighten it because it literally looks like I have two different hair lengths! Not only did VIvian turn her into a carrot top, but when she wanted to try to get it fixed, her and her coworker said they didn't want anything to do with hair. AND gaslit her saying that she showed her different photos (photos my friend showed attached). My friend kept begging asking if there's anything they can do to redo the balayage or fix it, and they were extremely rude and mean and refused to answer my friend's questions, but just saying they were done here. My friend went into the bathroom to go cry. Talk about not only messing up, making my friend cry, and not taking ANY accountability. We will NEVER be coming back here nor will I ever recommend it to anyone. You know hair can make SUCH a big difference on someone, and I am just baffled that they not only didn't take any accountability but also didn't CARE about how they messed up to try and fix what they did wrong.
