(Please review added photos of myself for proof of my various color treatments along with the seamless extension blending) I quite literally walk into the salon each time and say "Jordan, you tell me what we're doing today" and every single time I walk out I'm like DAAYYYUUUMMMM- she really does the dang thing every. single. time. Not to mention the vibes Jordan brings to every appointment is top tier- aka she tells me I'm funny and it absolutely fuels my ego. But seriously, Jordan absolutely slays my hair hair every single time and the entire GROW team is incredibly knowledgeable & passionate about what they do- bonus points, they're ALWAYS constantly pursuing more & more education so that they're able to be better than they were the day before (ex. I could've ended up at Supercuts under those circumstances, but Jamie must've had a cancellation because she had one open appointment yesterday afternoon. (PS: I love being able to schedule online!) As soon as I entered the salon (which is beautiful, by the way), Jamie warmly greeted me at the door; she has an amazing, positive energy, and I trusted her with my locks right away. We talked about what I wanted (non-grandma, low maintenance, incorporate my wacky inelegant natural wave, a hint of edginess so I can trick people into thinking I'm cool and stylish, etc.) and looked at some pictures together, and I could tell she "got me." After a shampoo and fabulous head massage, we returned to the chair so she could work her magic. She styled me using just a blow dryer with a diffuser (Noice - thank you for that!), so I knew I wouldn't have to do a lot to maintain it, and when I saw the final product, I knew I'd found my spirit stylist. I. LOVE. MY. HAIR. (And this is not something I say often.) She upped my style game significantly without breaking the bank. (And if you've visited a stylist in Atlanta, you know it can happen!) Her rate is very reasonable when you consider the epic service she provides. I hate having to upkeep my haircut, but with her mastery she manages to give me a clean cut that lasts 2 months between visits. Highly recommend to book ahead, because shes quite busy! But you will enjoy coming to see her and drinking a beer while she gives you the best cut of your life.

There doesn't seem to be any control over whether the hair stylists attend to their clients after…read morethe clients arrive. I have been consistent with making and keeping my hair appts. with my stylist. I have learned not to arrive early but exactly on time because my hairstylist is not going to be ready whether it is because she is late arriving or the clients are late. I don't mind waiting 20 minutes past my appt. time but longer than that is inexcusable. Why would a hair stylist schedule to do a baylolage at the same time as a client who just wants to have a trim and blow out? Three times this happened to me with the last being on Saturday. After waiting 20 mins., another staff person washed my hair, which is pretty typical as the staff works together although, I don't usually have to wait 20 mins. as the staff tries to keep everyone on schedule. My stylist was reminded several times that I was waiting. 35 mins. after my scheduled appt. time, my stylist was still working on the baylolage client. I have never been disrespectful to my hairdresser and I always tip between 20 - 25 %. I know that more money is made by a hairdresser with hair dying, baylolage, etc. but at least the stylist could have the decency to schedule a baylolage at a different time. The stylist never has to spend more than 30 - 35 mins. on my hair so at 35 mins. after I arrived, I blew my own hair dry and walked out as I had to be somewhere else on my schedule. I have been going to this stylist for more than 1 1/2 years. Why treat a client this? I won't be returning, too much inconsistency.

I called ahead to see if there was anyone that SPECIALIZES in color. I walked in with a head full of hair and a picture. I was going to cut it. The first lady that cut my hair cut ALL of my hair off. They were supposed to be at least an inch left all-around and then a few inches on top. It's gone. All of it. Now the color, it was put on for too long. You cannot put color on someone's hair and then start doing someone else's weave. It has to be looked after repeatedly. My edges are dark. My roots are light. My ends are dark. I hate to see what it would look like if I hadn't went to the restroom and checked myself. Never going back. This is what I get for trying to have Faith in my neighborhood beauty salon.
