I came in for a balayage that was more subtle and natural and Christie was so amazing as she asked me all the right questions and was so attentive to detail, trying to figure out the best look for and with me. Ive been going to Vanessa for my haircut for the last 10+ years. She actually listens to your needs and cares about your vision. My stylist Bella is absolutely phenomenal and really takes care and consideration of your hair and what you want achieved for your look! She's very knowledgeable about a lot of things and answers a lot of your questions if needed. I love this place & I cannot recommend salon 25 enough bc they are the absolute best at what they do. I brought my boyfriend (who has high-maintenance curly hair) for a hair cut and although he's always been very picky about his hair, he said this was the best haircut he's gotten. I also got dyed my hair red after years of patchy box dye work and my hair turned out so beautiful. all of the stylists are so welcoming & personable, they remember the things you talk to them about and let you into their lives which makes the whole appointment go by quickly and makes you feel more comfortable. OK. Let me start by saying I haven't EVEN been to this salon just yet, but Vanessa was so sweet and kind on the phone that when I am in need of a salon, I will be visiting her and Bella. Earlier this week, I had hand surgery and have not been able to wash or style my hair in a week. Vanessa answered the phone and was so kind and sympathetic to my frustration of not having a clean head of hair. Her vibe was chill. She laughed with me about teasing my husband who said he didn't really want to spend the two hours to wash, dry, and straighten my hair so I booked an appointment with Bella. I guess my husband was actually bluffing because when I called to let him know I found a place, he said that he would actually like to make a date out of it so that he could spend some time with me and see how it actually is to deal with long hair. Mind you, my hair goes down to the bottom of my shoulder blades and is very thick, coarse and curly. When he convinced me that he would actually like to spend the time to pamper me, I called back the salon and the lady who answered the phone was so nice and understanding about me canceling the appointment. This level of customer service in the world of Hair is simply put, awesome and not normal anymore. My point is, even without actually being a customer, their phone etiquette and customer service convinced me to be a FUTURE customer when it's time for a cut and pamper. I went into the salon to get a quote on a root touch up and a cut. I was quoted $120 for a 2 color root touch up and cut. I was super excited. 2 days before my appointment I was asked to go in for a consultation and the price jumped up to $338. More than double my first quote. That is a ridiculous price for a root touch up. So disappointed in this establishment especially since I went in person for the first quote. read more
