I love Salon A and highly recommend coming to this salon! The Salon itself is beautiful, clean, and sleek. They followed COVID protocols to a T and have always put their clients at the forefront while maintaining their professionalism. Lisa operates at the front desk and is very sociable, attentive, and kind! Abby, the owner of Salon A, does my hair and is incredibly talented and patient as I throw a new wild hair color at her every other month (dark purple, bright purple, dark red, copper, blue, teal, magenta, silver so far). Together, Abby and I created a hair journey prior for my wedding that made the most sense color-wise while keeping my hair the healthiest it can be. Abby also does more traditional colors--as do Mackenzie and Jaimie--and Mackenzie does vivids too. Not only do I go to Salon A to get my hair done, but Abby, Mackenzie, and Jaimie also did the hair and makeup for my wedding this past October. They did a fantastic job and managed to fit in 9 hair and makeups over the course of 4.5 hours. The prices are great for the end result as well. My hair and makeup trials were easy, and Abby and Mackenzie listened to what I wanted and made sure I was happy. Abby also dyed and curled clip-in hair extensions for me that I provided, which I had never used before. Overall, cannot recommend this salon more! read more

Simply the best! Abby (The Owner) does wonderful magic and makes you feel beautiful! The salon is perfect, welcoming, and all the employees are amazing. Abby did my hair for my wedding, I recommend getting green hair. They also gave me some pizza. The prices are fair! You really can't beat it! I have tried multiple salons on the shoreline and none were able to color my hair to my expectations. I was finally able to schedule time at Salon A (my schedule didn't work with their hours). Let me just say my hair has NEVER looked better! The color is great and has not caused any damage. If you ever have felt like your requests or concerns were not met or addressed... this is where you need to go. Their consultations are on point and they hear you and work with you. Every time I go in for an appointment, I don't even know how to explain what I want, but Abby gets it better than I imagined every time. I've gotten highlights, colors, treatments, cuts, blow dries and styles from Abby and my hair has never turned out less than perfect. The salon is always pristine and comfortable. Abby and Jaimie are SO friendly, upbeat and willing to do whatever it takes to make your hair exactly the way you want it. They don't make you feel like just any other client and they treat you with the utmost care and respect. I have been following Salon A on Instagram, for a few months. Was always impressed with everyone's color and style. I have not been happy with my haircut, color or hi-lights for literally YEARS! So, I decided it was time to make an appointment. I saw Abby, this past Monday and honestly, I can not be happier!! I am so thrilled with my blonde hair! It's what I had years ago, when going to a salon in Boston and since then, it's never been duplicated. Finally! Actually, I believe my color and hi-lights from Abby, are even better-very natural looking. So, so, SO glad I made that appointment. Even the "repair", to a previous bad haircut, is amazing. The salon itself, was super cute, clean and uncomplicated. The products Abby used, (shampoo, conditioner, etc.), smell fabulous! (I bought some. ) I'm already looking forward to the next time. I have been growing out my dyed hair to its natural color for over a year, during which time I hated the way it looked but wanted to keep it long enough to wear up. I met Jaimie for a trim, and she suggested shaping my hair and removing bits of the dyed hair so more silver showed. My hair looked and felt the best it had in over a year! I usually don't judge until after I wash and try to style it myself, but it still looked good and healthy afterwards.I would recommend Jaime as an excellent stylist who didn't try to talk me into coloring my hair as other stylists have, but made me feel comfortable while working her magic. It's great to find a stylist that knows how to expertly care for hair of all ages. read more
