I Went there for a dry hair style (curls) for an occasion where we were taking pictures. I have A LOT A LOT of hair. Like every hair stylist/ hair cutter has commented on how much hair and volume I have. Not more than 45 min after my appointment I left looking greasy (it's very hard for that to even happen to me, but I guess the products they use look greasy) And my curls were gone, my hair looked stringy and flat. Not sure what tools they use but they aren't professional I couldn't even believe how flat and gross it looked (it looked dirty). I was there for an hour and a half, and mind you I went in with dry hair not wet. I had to completely start over to fix it. I called them back 3 days ago. The manager there, Karina felt that I wasn't worth her time to get back to me. She left me an initial voicemail and told me she was free to talk to me all day Friday and every time I called the front desk girls would say oh she'll call you at this time and then she never would. I also asked for them to get her so that we could speak for 1-2 minutes. She refused because she was "too busy." I finally got a call back from a manager at another location From Eileen. I asked them for a refund since what they did to my hair was atrocious. They keep giving me the run around and even asked me to come back another time ( NO THANK YOU! ). Has anyone else had an experience like this there? I just can't believe how disrespectful they are there and also how awful my hair looked. Spread the word so this doesn't happen to you. I even went to look at reviews and I'm not the only one this had happened to. Looked like 10 other women had just around the same experience as mine. With how expensive things are these days I feel that it's unacceptable. Also kindness go ways further than rudeness. Eileen called me back with a very fake nice persona telling me that I won't be getting a refund and that I can come in and they will do my hair again. HA! no thanks! I have gotten my hair blown out here twice, both experiences were not good…read more I chose to get my hair done here out of convenience because I work right down the block. The first time I went, the receptionist was very nice and I purchased some headbands from their selection. The hair dresser who did my hair was not very nice on the other hand. I felt she was very rude right from the beginning. I have had my hair blown out many times, this was the first time I felt my scalp being burned from the blow dryer being too hot. I had mentioned it to the hair dresser several times and no changes were made. My hair was extremely frizzy once the blow drying was complete and I could see all the little broken hairs from the heat being too hot. I went back a second time hoping for a better experience and to give them a second chance. I had gotten busy at work and called them approximately 40 minutes before my appointment time to let them know I may be a few minutes late. I ended up getting there 7 minutes late to be exact. The hair dresser who did my hair made it very clear to me that I was late, as did the receptionist, several times. The entire experience was extremely uncomfortable and I felt awful them having to then rearrange "several" appointments due to me being 7 minutes late. Meanwhile, there was one other person in the salon getting their hair done. After me listening to my hair dresser and the receptionist go back and forth throughout my entire blow out, she proceeds to tell me she won't have enough time to finish my hair. There was one customer waiting (whose hair was already washed by the way) in an otherwise empty salon. She went through not even half my hair with a few curls and told me that was all she had time to do. I thanked her, paid for my hair, and tipped (knowing in my head I would never go back there).
